I doubt they will, especially for midweek games. With a minuscule season ticket holder base, you just aren’t going to get 14,000 folk buying match day tickets week in week out. Unless they are flogging mini season tickets?

My uncle was always one of those ‘I’m a football fan first’ types. I don’t get how that even works. I mean I watch other games on TV, but it doesn’t in any way compare to the feeling of watching YOUR club. The ups and downs, the feeling of that late winner, the anguish of the late defeat. Analysing the table, looking at the fixtures and on it goes. Other games? You watch it, then you change the channel and that’s that

They are worse than Dingles these days. That lot are in the top flight now and comfortable in their skin, so don’t need to give it the big ‘un as the facts speak for themselves. I.e. they get their 18,000 and that’s that. The days of ‘if we were int Prem we’d have to double size of t’Turf’ and all that nonsense has disappeared. This lot however have such an inferiority complex due to having achieved the square root of fuck all in most of their fans’ lifetimes, that they have to cling to their away support at local derbies for some sort of validation. It’s sad really.

He’s either lying about money being available or he was ridiculously naive and thought a few wins against teams like Ipswich in January, where the likes of Rodwell hardly faced a challenge all game, meant we could get to May no problem. Totally lost it by the looks of their forum. We are now the ‘club that ruined football’. The 90s really did give our neighbouring clubs fans a collective nervous breakdown.

They forget that when they were thrashing around the 4th division in the 80s (a league we’ve never even been in), we had spent the majority of that decade on the verge of the top flight. Doesnt quite fit their narrative of some tiny tinpot outfit rescued by big money.
