  1. I don’t doubt there are people out there that honestly do mean it, but these owners aren’t budging. So what’s the solution? Plod along with 7/8/9,000 ST holders indefinitely or do we try something a la PNE, Hudds, Bolton. PNE went from just 8,000 ST holders to their highest average crowd for sixty years overnight. We still have a sizeable floating support regardless of a few hundred folk pretending they’re/actually boycotting. Why not give it a go? We do, and we still struggle to get close to 12k or so - then I’ll hold my hands up and say fair enough what’s the point until these owners fuck off, (or we end up in the PL by some miracle and then it obviously looks after itself.)
  2. Yep, good bunch, I’ve used them myself. But just look at it from that firm’s perspective, they obviously aren’t going to have a marketing budget of any real clout when it comes to one of the biggest leagues in European football, why would they, they are local solicitors. The club talks a load of waffle about revenue generation, metrics, and loads of other corporate jargon in the FF minutes and the like but the proof is in the pudding when it comes to actual sponsors and bums on seats.
  3. This place isn’t remotely representative of the fanbase. My view is folk actually boycotting because of the owners (and will return as soon as they go) is minuscule. You think there are a vast amount of fans like a coiled spring just waiting to part with their £350-£450 to watch a middling second division team that now happens to be Venky free. But me and you will go round in circles on this until the club actually tries cheap tickets.
  4. We had almost 20,000 ST holders in 2010, in the summer of 2021 we didn’t even sell 7k. They didn’t bat an eyelid. If we’d have lost that remaining 7k too the summer after they still wouldn’t give a flying feck - these are not normal owners yet people still think they are and that they actually care about loss of income and the like.
  5. The club announcing the end of a (just two years) shirt sponsorship with some two bit vape company like a star player was leaving. Just another odd day in the world of Venky Rovers.
  6. But what the Chadster really wants to know was if ‘99 was one of those in there renewing
  7. Buy a ticket in the shop from a member of staff behind the counter with a PC - charged an extra tenner…. but buy it in the shop from a member of staff in front of the counter with an iPad - no tenner 🤷‍♂️
  8. How very dare you, they have an office in Lytham too if you don’t mind.
  9. League 1 Huddersfield have sold a smashing 13,000 so far.
  10. ’Smashed’ is a spectrum, I suppose.
  11. So if we’ve ‘smashed’ last year’s tally we are presumably well on for c11,000 sales, considering we were only a few hundred off 10k last season.
  12. Wait, this club isn’t in a mess? Well, it’s certainly a view.
  13. Personally I think by the time they go off sale in late August sales will pretty much be where they were last season (obviously 9 thousand and something is nothing other than pitiful).
  14. At the end of early bird it was 7,300: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23563557.blackburn-rovers-reveal-2023-24-kit-details-season-ticket-figures/
  15. Date wise (obviously the caveat is they were put on sale much earlier and you were way past claim your own seat/early bird price by then
  16. I presume he'd be best waiting until claim your seat deadline passes after this weekend, as currently all present ST holders will be greyed out if they've renewed or not.
  17. Swag says no funding issues, and I believe we aren't particularly close to FFP limits (plus Raya cash to come too).. so presumably we won't be selling players (Sammie wanting a move aside) and in fact we'll be spending a decent amount? If not, why not?
  18. The one showing Shearer scoring on VE Day. It surprisingly wasn’t followed with ‘Remember this? Well it won’t be anything like that next season but please buy your season ticket!’
  19. ‘Over 6,000’ in the social media post they put out yesterday. So hope they are busy this week with an eighty quid rise scheduled for Saturday…
  20. Waggott speaks enough, it’s BS most of the time but he speaks, I certainly don’t need to hear any more from the plonker. However, the fella who actually wields the power outside India at BRFC says nothing and hasn’t done for a decade. A shirking of responsibility and accountability.
  21. There will be segregation between the official allocations, but the majority of tickets are sold openly so you’ll have fans buying independently and so mixed together.
  22. Even if it doesn’t turn a profit, so what? What’s the outlay really in the grand scheme of things when you think of the ridiculous sums football clubs piss up the wall? So as long as the cover charge and advertising within comes close to breaking even, then that should do. How about providing a decent match day experience to your supporters?
  23. A World Cup in a region’s rainy season. Nice one ICC 👏
  24. Yeah maybe our Elliot should hold off from applying for The Times’ fast stream just yet.
