Having reunited fans and club to some extent, he and the team around him are driving a wedge between club and fans again. And that should not be allowed to happen

I thought that. I didn't realistically expect promotion but I did expect to see us spending some time in the promotion and playoff slots. I did expect a consistent challenge for the playoffs to be on the cards. We might have fallen short, probably would in fact, but every year there is an outsider who gets in there. That is what I would have hoped for. Along with a few good, unexpected wins and some decent performances where we really fought for a victory. What I didn't expect (or in a strange way, I did expect it but hoped I was wrong) was the utter rubbish that's being apparently being served up most weeks, the fact that despite being among the highest scorers we struggle to get a goal in the first half of far too many matches, the fact that if it gets to 70 mins and we haven't scored we turn off the results because we know that it will be Rovers who concede 9 times out of 10. We'd have no god given right to promotion even if we had the best squad and a great manager. Promotion has to be earned and a lot can be gained by organisation, effort, energy and discipline in roles that suit your players.

They moved the senior training up to what used to be the academy in the first place because the lower site wasnt big enough, so how it's supposed to be big enough for seniors and academy I dont know. It will of course go straight through planning because even if RVBC oppose it, which they probably wont, central government will overrule. It's happened with every refused planning application in the last 10 years. Just concrete over the Ribble Valley. There'll be no green space left soon.

I wasn't saying I'd want Terry. Never liked him since back in the days when he played for England U21s and I met him briefly. Thought then he was arrogant and not very pleasant. And, like you, I dont know if he'd stand a chance of being any good. I just think that looking round football and football management, a lot of them haven't covered themselves with glory on the moral front and seem unpleasant types. I wouldn't be cheering for their moral standards but for their ability to get results on a football pitch. I know its hard to separate the 2, and I understand your reservations about Terry totally. Would I want him. Probably not. Not on any grounds, but do I think he'd come here in the unlikely situation of Mowbray's sacking.? Probably not.

In an ideal world, we'd all want Mr Squeaky Clean, regular guy, excellent coach, man manager, role model to manage us. This is not an ideal world and most people have things in their past they're not proud of now they've grown up. I dont know if Terry would be a good manager or not. I do know that Mowbray, if he ever was, isn't now.

If we're going to sack him they need to get in the ear of Madame fast because the cricket starts again on 24th

I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with more or less everything you say. I wont vilify Mowbray but his time has been and is gone and he risks that being forgotten if he drags on as manager. For his own sake as much as the clubs, he needs to go now.
