Far be it for me to interject, but Brereton was widely tipped to be a top player and he's proven to be just that, the best striker in Championship, your point is ridiculous Blue blood with respect. Whilst Brereton was getting up to speed Armstrong, a £2m signing, was becoming a £20m striker too! You can beat up Mowbray for many things, but his buys for a transfer fee have been superb.

Not wanting to get into an old debate, but he robbed the club/fans of seeing better players because he was in the pockets of agents and allegedly taking cuts from player sales, the player pool was reduced to feather his own nest. He was far from a top a manager for those reasons alone and got his comeuppance being fired from England and nationally humiliated.

Indian v Pakistan live now, absolute theatre in front of 90,000. Pakistan throwing this away with 3 balls to go, just bowled 2 no balls.

Nope that was January transfer window and the club blew it. This ends badly around the same time as last season sadly, we simply do not have any strength in depth, it’s 1980’s all over again. That said we should enjoy the wins, enjoy the emergence of new talent, after all the Premiership is shite anyway, isn’t it….. -
I can only ever remember us wining once at Luton, Samba debut, I went in early 80’s and we lost, so it’s a certainly true in our case.

Imagine being dressed like that looking for a butter pie on Darwen Market…..

When will the football authorities in this country put a stop these fly by night arseholes ruining our clubs....... Blackburn Rovers 3 Birmingham City 1 -

Bit obvious that one, although someone did shout it him at the Blackpool gig a few years back, the rest of the crowd just thought, what a ****.

Went to see Bob Dylan at The London Palladium last night. Not bad for 81yr old, superb backing band as always, great venue, what’s not to like.

Pep Guardiola persuaded Mikel Arteta to take the Arsenal Job and leave Many City, do you think City fans are up in arms about that? Or do they understand these things happen in football and wished him all the best? We live in a society today where everyone wants to be offended by something, this is a prime example of that, I bet most fans had never even heard of Stuart Harvey before the story broke, I certainly hadn't. On Mowbray, he deserve the fans respect and he'll get it, the fans who attend understand the job he did, the players he produced and promotions are rare at Ewood. I wish him all the best, but not this week, Rovers 2 Sunderland 0 -

Even though Boro are on an appalling run of form, that’s an excellent result today. I thought we’d lose and the best we could hope for was to scrape a draw. Well done Rovers for showing some character after Cardiff. Made up for the travelling fans, you deserved that today. -
