    I’ll talk down Mowbrays promotion - he finished second in the league with the highest budget ever seen by a margin. We should have stomped that league and would have won it if he didn’t play the reserves against Charlton for seemingly no reason.

    I would imagine he’s depressed about our strikers for the same reason you where furious we didn’t sign any strikers on deadline day.

    Yes. But the issue with that is two fold - 1) Many genuine fans would be loathed to do it because they know the current management structure would deem it as their success - and they want the management team to be removed from their position. 2) Many fans need an element of success to hold on to. I have no doubt if we played in League 1 every season and finished top-2 each year without being promoted, we would sell many more STs. People want to see success and happiness, they don’t want to see the current team lose 2-1 to Middlesbrough, they’d rather watch us win 3-0 against Oldham.

    Yep - Booth and I worked on the Rovers documentary, we where one step above only Balaji knowing they had a football club at one point.
