  1. The demand for housing isn’t there?! My house in the Ribble Valley has gone up in value by over 20% in 2 years, the Ribble Valley has a population problem, you can’t get a house here!
  2. Not necessarily true. The general understanding (as above) is they can still fund it as normal, but for every £1 they send to the club they have to put a £1 deposit into a Indian Government owned Bank as a deposit. Which in summer they obviously didn’t want to do. Either they’re terrified they’ll lose the case or they don’t have (or don’t want) the cash flow of double bubble.
  3. That is what Waggott told me and has been reported in the Athletic. So that’s what I’m sticking with until we know any different.
  4. My understanding of this was that this means for every £1 they send here, they also have to send £1 to a bank account owned by the Indian Government as essentially a bond whilst the case is underway. Can anyone confirm/clarify that?
  5. At this point I can't get onboard with anything that comes from Waggott. He's had more than enough time to prove he's capable of doing the job and at best he's proved that he can just about make sure we don't go bankrupt by selling all our best players. The guy is clearly incapable of pushing us any further than total mediocracy and anyone entertaining him and his nonsense should know better.
  6. He's already uprooted his family once in the last 12 months, I would imagine with his new role being an international manager with less day to day training ground work and them now settled in schools and playing football he’s not in a huge rush to pack all the bags again — which is exactly why he left the club in the first place. If I was him I would knock around until the end of the year simply to watch this club completely fold into a standard-less shell of its former self, just to bump into Waggott and Pasha and say “I told you so”.
  7. Consider me an official non believer.
  8. If it’s one step closer to life without Venkys then it’s a risk worth taking.
  9. Going down, sorry to say it folks.
  10. Add: 5) Sell the club to a respectable consortium fronted by an either a fan, director or a former player that understands this club …and I’ll snap your hands off at League Two. I’d absolutely love US investment from a consortium fronted by Brad Friedel.
  11. Buckley has got a pretty hard job tonight finding a gap, they’re playing a deep back line and there’s little space.
  12. Hardly touched it but when he has he’s looked fine.
  13. Has Steve been to Orlando yet?
  14. Markanday? Jesus christ I hope not.
  15. A battle of bottle - not the sort of game we compete in. 2-0 Millwall.
  16. This lad is shite — nowhere near the required quality for this level. Get rid, hopefully I don’t see him play for us again.
  17. I wouldn’t say this on Twitter because I’d be jumped on by our more positive fans, but consider me extremely unconvinced about Eustace as a manager and concerned about the amount of points we are getting.
  18. Don’t want to speak to Ozz but whilst Venkys refuse to engage with anyone making even tentative enquiries I cant see any reason to revive anything.

@StubbsUK can explain but it is a known error
  20. Ewood admittedly has a very poor atmosphere, although that’s mostly (in my opinion) because of the way the club has been run and the knock on effects of targeted attacks on the most passionate of our fans along with misinformation to the majority of our fan base. Still, it’ll be much better tonight than most MLS games where any atmosphere is mostly engineered by “ultras” working alongside the clubs PA system. None of this is intended as a dig by the way. It’s just two totally different cultures.
  21. I used to produce all of the NFL coverage through DAZN in North America including the Super Bowl. Also did Boxing and Baseball, which I couldn’t for the life of me get into. American Sports certainly gets the numbers, but in terms of atmosphere it’s completely different. It’s more aligned to an experience in the States, the atmosphere is generated through excitement and a social media culture of “I was there!” whereas sport in the UK - especially football - is very much based around tribalism and aggression. I do like the Tailgates, though.
  22. Not always, but it would cause absolute chaos if it wasn’t segregated. The segregation is also why we have something unusual to American sport - atmosphere.
  23. Thank god - I’ve emailed for three separate games now complaining about away fans in the home end and corporate section, glad someone’s finally doing something about it.
  24. Hi Everyone, Does anyone have a 94/95 shirt they’d be willing to sell — stipulation being it has to be collected today? Alternatively does anyone have a new and unused shirt from this season for sale? Send me a DM if you do!
