  1. I think he’s playing really well?
  2. Batty next, he’s a proper left wing back.
  3. That’s what you get with a champions league winner, Tugay-is-God.
  4. I can help! Kaminski Hedges Carter Hyam Wharton Brittain Garrett Morton Szmodics Brereton Gallagher. No, you haven’t read that wrong. In a nod of respect to Tony, JDT has opted to play a left footed left winger at right wing back and a right footed right back at left wing back.
  5. We’ll draw tonight. 0-0.
  6. Bad news for you mate, that’s Instagram.
  7. Media saying they’ve had it confirmed he isn’t injured.
  8. I don’t know what it is, but it can’t be a football thing IMO. He’s not had a chance on the pitch to show whether he can or can’t do what is required. When he’s played for the reserves he’s played well. When he’s played in the first team he’s always had an impact.
  9. I’m calling an official period of mourning. Put the forum back into black and white tech team. FullSizeRender.MOV
  10. No Dack in the squad at all. It’s finally over…
  11. BBD I think. Or Kaminski.
  12. I remember standing next to you at Coventry away last year, as we held on for dear life after Wharton put us ahead with 8 minutes left to send us into the playoffs. I said “I know what happens next here and it’s not good”. They equalised in the 98th minute and that was the end of the playoff dream. I’m putting it on record, I know what happens next here too. 1-3 Sunderland. The WLWLWLWLWL continues.
  13. Sunderland have no strikers, they’re playing 3 attacking midfielders across the front at the moment. Needs to be a 3-4-3 or a 3-4-1-2, can’t be playing 5 at the back when they offer so little threat. Kaminski Hyam Phillips Wharton Brittain Morton Buckley Pickering Dack Brereton Gallagher Would be my team, but I suspect he will start Carter ahead of Phillips, put Hedges central midfield and Szmodics instead of Dack, like… Kaminski Carter Hyam Wharton Brittain Morton Hedges Pickering Gallagher Szmodics Brereton.
  14. I’ll do Buckley, but tell him he’ll be hooked after 30 minutes if he’s playing with his half-arsed Pirlo playing Sunday league attitude. There’s a player there, but he’s at risk of stagnation.
  15. He’ll play on Tuesday. Kaminski Hyam Phillips Wharton Brittain Wharton Buckley Morton Pickering Gallagher BBD.
  16. Agreed, I’d rather we subbed you on.
  17. I get I’ll be in a minority, but I don’t like it. It’s a short career, to give 9 years gets my respect. I’d have much rather he was totally ignored for the duration. But I can admit my views won’t be the norm!
  18. I fear we will sell him without giving him a chance. We’ll be lucky to get a million for him based on 2x ACL and no game time. If he can have a semi-decent season and prove his fitness it would benefit us and also increase his value. But I think his time is up now with JDT.
  19. Although I was told it was worse (I’ll take your word), I still think both of those chants and the boos are really, really poor. I admit i’m a little biased when it comes to Darragh.
  20. Agree with you on Dack, I find it really really harsh. If we can find a way to turn these L’s into draws we will have a chance.
  21. Agreed, which is why I’m disappointed Lenihan seemingly got 95 minutes of abuse from the Rovers fans today. I get light hearted mocking but it sounds like he got it big time today. That’s a man that spent 9 years of his career here, had the option to move earlier for more money and didn’t kick up too much of a stink, is a well respected captain and is liked at Brockhall, especially at the academy for which he did much more than he needed to. He got to the age of a last big contract of his career and chose the most money, for a manager that tried to sign him before and really wanted him. And we’ve seemingly replaced him with someone at least as good! Sometimes I despair, I really do.
  22. Can drop as low as 8th if results go against us for the game in hand. It’s like January 2022 all over again, don’t forget those games in hand!
  23. It’s a funny old league Longers. One minute you’re playing teams off the park, the next you can’t get out your own half. Very tough to get any sort of consistency playing so often against so many different styles. We’re potentially five points (1 pt behind, 1 game in hand, goal difference) behind you and Sheffield and could soon be 8 points behind Norwich. It’s starting to open up, you’ll know by the middle of January whether you’re challenging top-two or ‘best of the rest’.
