  1. Speak to @Herbie6590, there may be some spares if we don’t get returns.
  2. FYI I play Football on Tuesday nights and tonight we split the teams to be Blackburn vs. Burnley. It was a draw. We conceded a last minute equaliser. Read into that what you will.
  3. This will go down like a led balloon I suspect, but if I was a footballer for Rovers I'd be referencing Dack from both the management and the fans as the reason I shouldn't show any loyalty to the club. Some of the shit I've seen from fans - mostly on Twitter - towards his missus, who comes out of this quite well if you ask me, is unbelievable. Grown men calling a woman names because she's using her platform to express her fiance's disappointment, incredible really.
  4. I did this on purpose because I found it quite funny 😃
  5. A lot depends on the formation for me Speedie. If we’re doing the 5ATB thing that Southgate has done for so long, I think we can afford TAA’s defensive vulnerabilities if Walker is fit to cover. For me Shaw isn’t great, I’d prefer Chilwell but injury dictates he’ll be starting. Again if it’s LWB… maybe Saka. If we’re playing 4ATB then I’d have Trippier ahead of Walker and TAA. I’ve seen enough of Maguire and Dier to make my decision, although I appreciate Southgate will probably pick both. Same with Pickford… I just can’t select a keeper that’s letting in goals every week. I think my squad would be: GK: Pope, Ramsdale, Pickford DEF: TAA, Walker, Trippier, Shaw, James, Tomori, Stones, Smalling MID: Bellingham, Rice, Phillips, Mount, Maddison ATK: Sterling, Kane, Foden, Grealish, Saka, Toney … fill in the blanks with almost whoever you like.
  6. Both terrify me as well, for what it’s worth.
  7. I’d guess it’s nothing a lot of people haven’t already heard being whispered at the match. Dack was due to be on the bench against Sunderland but was taken off the day before after having a big barny about his stats. JDT thinks he’s not putting the work in, Dack says his stats evidence that he is… then he got Mowbray to push the message out that his stats are better than ever in his post-match interview, which went down even worse. His agent is now pushing him all over for a January move. Happy to be proven wrong - or it might be something else - its only whispers but a few people are all saying the same thing.
  8. Their midfield three won’t let him play like that I suspect!
  9. We prefer “the dictators” to “the moderators” if you please.
  10. Ramsdale being ahead of Pickford baffles me. Arsenal are flying and Ramsdale is playing brilliantly, I know Pickford hasn’t let England down but playing for Everton isn’t high enough quality. After today I’d certainly consider Trippier ahead of TAA. If Tomori doesn’t make the squad after the likes of Maguire and Stones its a travesty. I wouldn’t be against Smalling getting a call up either he’s been superb for Roma for months now.
  11. He said four windows from memory.
  12. I agree, I suspect if you asked JDT after he finished his second bottle of wine he would say he needs two more forwards and two central midfielders.
  13. I can’t find a way to bring the other posts into here without messing up the ordering, so we’ve lost half a page of posts. Apologies to those effected, but in the spirit of Lanclassico I wanted a Dingle to the preview.
  14. Seems as obvious to me as it does to you, I suspect. As things stand out best team involves playing Kaminski; Brittain, Hyam, Ayala, Wharton, Pickering; Travis, Morton, +1; Brereton and Gallagher in a 3-5-2 / 5-3-2. There’s only one position up to grabs for me and that’s the third midfielder. Wharton or Szmodics … or Dack, if the bust up with JDT can be repaired.
  15. Depends what you judge success on, I suspect. Whilst the team is getting these results Travis’ impact can only be described as positive.
  16. This is so, so boring. Two completely different players, you’re judging by one stat and ignoring the other 8 posted. For what it’s worth, I’d take Travis over Whiteman every day of the week from what I’ve seen. I think he’s underrated and gets a rough time on here. He’s one of the few in this squad with any sort of battle in him, is incredibly frustrating to the opposition and is arguably our most successful captain for a long time so far.
  17. Christ, really? We’ve not got a left back in that case. Luke Shaw maybe…
  18. Easier to be the big fish in a little pond. Grealish over him for me. I’d be going… Ramsdale TAA Walker White Tomori Chilwell Bellingham Rice Grealish Kane Foden
  19. I’m assuming you mean Jason and if so, I couldn’t care less, he can manage them for me.
  20. They’ve found him out sharpish.
  21. If we’re 1-0 up at the Dingle dome and attempt to defend the lead for 30 minutes I’ll have a heart attack.
  22. Pears Carter Phillips Mola JRC Buckley Garrett Batty Markanday Hirst Vale Fill the rest of the bench with the U23s/U18. Send Lowe to manage them. Everyone else stays at Brockhall and trains for the big one.
  23. They’re good up front and good in midfield, you need to get at their defenders. At least three centre backs and at least three central midfielders.
  24. No, that’s your mate Waggott’s fault!!
