  1. Happy to take this at face value - but I must say, if I employed someone who spent 4 weeks screening and interviewing managers that KNEW ultimately someone else would be making the decision I’d sack them for misuse of their own time! Four weeks of interviews and meetings, I assume expenses alongside it, only to say “here’s what we’ve done but you do whatever you want”?! Incredible!
  2. Excited to see what happens when we sign players.
  3. I’ve become obsessed with it too. I absolutely cannot wait to see how it compares to the final figures.
  4. If you’re a 19 year old that’s used to being told they’re incredible every day, you’ll do what City say.
  5. I admire your optimism but I fear those dingles and their dirty parachute payments are about to sign the best young players in the country on loan and be carried by them
  6. I’m not bothered that you don’t believe him. Glen’s a big boy and can look after himself. I don’t like the attitude and culture of calling someone out and/or being condescending to people. I’d call you out for it in the pub so I see no reason to not call you out for it here. Equally, if after every time you posted someone replied saying “Yeah but you’re Mowbray to WBA tip off was nonsense wasn’t it pal?” I’d call them out as well. It’s shitty.
  7. Just like if you don’t believe what Glen has heard is true, that’s cool too. See - we’ve come full circle.
  8. Tell you what you’re not entitled to do though - get your back stuck up when people say you’re ITK knowledge is wrong (e.g. Mowbray has signed to be WBA manager and is taking Rothwell and Nyambe with him) - then jump on other peoples ITK posts when they turn out to be wrong.
  9. Suhail isn’t liked by the ‘original’ employees at Ewood, they think he’s an interference that sticks his oar into things he doesn’t know about. Him and Swag have been very clever at removing the long standing employees - who typically where fans and outspoken - and replacing them with underpaid and over-promoted staff that now feel like they owe them the opportunity so allow the interference. Greg Coar the latest Rovers fan who dared have an opinion, Mike Graveston before him… replaced with NFT Fielder.
  10. There’s the update. ST holders can buy at the early bird price until the end of the month. Wonder what happens if you paid full whack yesterday?
  11. Goodbye sweet Darragh. You turned out better than we all thought you would after that debut playing defensive midfield.
  12. You’re doing god tier work, goozburger.
  13. Less sure on this than the colours - but I believe it was halves, is now quarters.
  14. Without going into too much detail, I’ve just cross referenced my diary against last seasons matches. Out of 23 home games, 7 would have been impossible for me to attend due to work. 4 would have meant I left the house at 7:30AM and returned home after an evening KO. Thats 11 games I would have probably missed, leaving 12 games… assuming I didn’t miss another game due to holidays, existing plans or illness. At £299 I’d have bought one anyway and sat in the Riverside with my Dad for roughly 12 games a season… £25 a match, on average. As it happens, the price is £429 and I refuse to pay best case scenario £35 a ticket. Not least because I can watch every game at home on my sofa. So long story short - I’m one of the lucky ones that could (just) about afford to buy myself a season ticket at £299, but there isn’t any value at £429. Despite being a Rovers addict, that spends his time running a fans message board, I’ve been priced out by Waggott. So I’ll buy some match tickets - home and away - if we’re playing well… and if we’re not, I’ll watch on the sofa. My net spend will be less than £25 / match in total… which I would have given them anyway, if they could price tickets correctly. Madness. You know who I feel for the most? The Blackburners that really live for this club, that would make sure they attend every game, would schedule their work rota around games, would tell their other halves don’t plan anything on match day… but the cost of living is so high they can’t find a way to pay the price. It’s a disgrace.
  15. For the record I would have been delighted with Carvalhal as well. In fact he was probably ahead of JDT in my preferred list. But after watching that interview, I believe. JDT is a positive presence.
  16. I’ll give you absolutes rather than clues, if you’d like? Home - same as always, still quarters rather than halves Away - navy blue 3rd - red with Lancashire rose outlines
  17. I think we know about this, but another for the list @StubbsUK
  18. In Rovers current structure, there isn't any. But you (or I, in this case) would expect a head of marketing to have had experience elsewhere as senior marketing manager, brand manager, group marketing manager or similar at a company where those roles do exist before stepping up here.
  19. It’s jumping up at least 2 positions. Arguably three.
  20. I believe today will be the day. This is a race against time to break 400 pages. We come into this on 379. Gather your friends, your family, even your enemies. Tell them to post on BRFCS so that we hit this milestone of negligence.
  21. Jheez Tom, I don’t think I’ve ever known you get angry!
