  1. I agree, hopefully they’re not just pulling numbers out with Pasha…
  2. I agree, but that’s generational unfortunately. It stems from 40-50 years ago.
  3. I know on both points, but my question is do you personally agree with that decision?
  4. It’s a football fan thing, not an England fan thing. There was plenty of Italian English breaking in at Wembley. Just like there was plenty of French breaking in at the Parc des Princess.
  5. What do you think about Gregg admitting that ultimately it’s the owners that decide whether or not players are sold?
  6. I can only assume you haven’t been on many England away trips to have the views which you do? It really isn’t like that and the England Supporters Club do a fantastic job of stopping it. Of course, there will always be idiots that ruin occasions and put shame on the team and the nation, but thankfully they get weeded out quite quickly and the majority of the idiots are forced to handover their passports before the away matches. The biggest problem I’ve always found is that a lot of other nations try to encourage violence with our fans because they’ve heard stories from the 70s, 80s and seen films like Green Street. I met Russians in France that had been in training for fighting ever since they found out they where in the same group as England. They where confused as to why the vast majority of England fans didn’t want anything to do with hooliganism. Wembley, much like the Champions League Final, was always going to be like that. That would have happened in almost every other European country and it’s unfair to say it was an ‘English’ thing. You could see it from a mile away (I was there) and they (the stewards, police) where totally ill equipped to stop it because the organisers are on another planet.
  7. Yeah, I can. I love watching England, often more than Rovers. It’s an incredible feeling when you follow England away in numbers. I was confident in 2016, we had a good team and could have gone further than we did. 2018 the improvement was noticeable. When Luke Shaw scored at Wembley in 2021 I was stood in the Italian end convinced I was about to see us win a trophy. I refuse to go to Qatar, it’s a disgrace that it’s happening there. So my positive is that I’m happy that I’m not going to miss us winning a trophy live, because we’re not as good as we where in 2018 or 2021.
  8. Talks a lot of sense. Thought the first interview was interesting and the second one was really good. The way we operate with our owners creating valuations for key players is pretty bonkers, it sounds like BBD’s potential sale is totally out of the DOF and managers hands.
  9. Prime Wayne Rooney is much better than both Owen and Kane. He was incredible.
  10. I was drinking this last night: https://www.allaboutwine.co.uk/wine/red/argentina/mendoza/la-posta-vineyard-blend-mendoza-malbec Shite.
  11. If you can look past the fact that clearly something should be done in honour of Tony Parkes, I think we can all agree I t wouldn’t be sensible given our financial state to take paid sponsorship away from the Riverside and give it away for free.
  12. I believe so, I might be speaking out of turn here so @Herbie6590 please confirm, but as I understand it we need to hit a minimum order number (which I believe we have done) by the deadline (a week tomorrow) at which point we will submit the order and confirm the order has been placed to all purchasers.
  13. I’ve added you in - must have missed the email, apologies.
  14. I’ve just had a bucket load of Luton fans join the forum — has someone prodded a bear?
  15. They really should have more interaction from the clubs on this. It’s like the fans don’t realise their own clubs have to pay for the damage they cause. Or they do and they don’t care, maybe.
  16. Call me old fashioned but if they’re only giving us ~2K then we should be doing the same back to them. If they’ve got 8K behind the goals in the Darwen End it’s going to make a huge psychological difference.
  17. The current City side would muller the Arsenal invisible team. Working in Manchester I often take clients to City and United games, City break teams down physically like I’ve never seen before. It’s torment, pressure and ultimately torture and the scary bit is and they all enjoy it. Pep especially seems to prefer scoring their goals after 60 minutes because the other team are exhausted. They look different on TV but when you watch them live when they have possession they’re all collectively moving forwards at all times, it must feel like the walls are coming in to crush you when you’re defending against that. They’ve been desperate for a striker since Aguero and Haaland is a genetical phenom, he’s tall, strong, quick, skilful and angry. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he scored 50 goals this year.
  18. Far too small and nowhere near physical enough. Dembele is basically a better version of Dolan.
  19. Diaz won’t be sold he will sign for a Spanish club for free I bet.
  20. Yeah, as I prefer to call it, a coherent plan. Gregg has a plan to develop Rovers into a better football club, resulting into promotion. We’ve had good teams in this league and for different reasons, never quite been good enough. So now we need a plan.
  21. If you’ve allowed 17 players to be signed by one manager then you just have to give them more than 9 games. Otherwise it makes a total mockery of allowing them to begin building a team.
  22. Those that won mugs should now have them. Please send me a message if you haven’t. Next competition is being run by @Herbie6590 and it’s worth being involved in as he blows the BRFCS marketing budget in self indulgence.
  23. Agreed, they’re the subs. This isn’t a match for Dolan, despite how good he was against Watford.
  24. There will be a majority of positivity. A lot of people think he ‘saved’ us. The Facebook fans don’t know any better and have had some of their best experiences under Mowbray.
