  1. I agree, too. Hope you're well if you ever see this, Stuart.
  2. 10 years since the fans of Blackburn Rovers, the Blackburn Rovers Action Group, Rovers Trust, BRFCS and numerous others all, in their own ways, helped rid our football club of corruption and disenchantment. Well done to all involved, I hope you’re having a beer tonight. As far as I’m concerned, we saved our club when the odds where against us.
  3. What exactly are you getting at here? It's all really odd, you're asking questions and following up the responses with 'but we don't know'... so what was the point in the question?
  4. SOS to @StubbsUK !
  5. There’s a huge revolving door of staff - that tells its own story.
  6. He was so unhappy that he was happy to sign a new contract in January, but ‘there wasn’t one offered’. This guys a con, he was before and he is now. He’s failed to hit expectation at every club he’s been involved in since Boro about 15 years ago. I couldn’t be happier he’s no longer involved. The sooner his mate Waggott follows him out the door the better, he’s another that barely hits expectation.
  7. Agreed, Ramsdale is the best keeper. Can’t have Pickford simply because he’s used to playing for a team that don’t keep clean sheets. If I was manager and went to the world cup tomorrow, this would be my team… Ramsdale Walker Stones Tomori Trent Bellingham Rice Chilwell Foden Kane Sterling
  8. I’m convinced there’s only Herbie knows the answer to this competition at this point
  9. I thought Robert was a really average player on a tangent.
  10. Very close on the ban hammer here!!
  11. If you don’t know the answer DM me and I’ll tell you now that Ian has told me!
  12. It’s Mr Passion? Mr Commitment? Mr 30-yard Screamer?
  13. If it makes you feel any better I’ve no idea who it is either!
  14. Not at all! I’m all in for the learning. The next bottle I will be doing exactly that.
  15. I agree, hopefully they’re not just pulling numbers out with Pasha…
  16. I agree, but that’s generational unfortunately. It stems from 40-50 years ago.
  17. I know on both points, but my question is do you personally agree with that decision?
  18. It’s a football fan thing, not an England fan thing. There was plenty of Italian English breaking in at Wembley. Just like there was plenty of French breaking in at the Parc des Princess.
  19. What do you think about Gregg admitting that ultimately it’s the owners that decide whether or not players are sold?
  20. I can only assume you haven’t been on many England away trips to have the views which you do? It really isn’t like that and the England Supporters Club do a fantastic job of stopping it. Of course, there will always be idiots that ruin occasions and put shame on the team and the nation, but thankfully they get weeded out quite quickly and the majority of the idiots are forced to handover their passports before the away matches. The biggest problem I’ve always found is that a lot of other nations try to encourage violence with our fans because they’ve heard stories from the 70s, 80s and seen films like Green Street. I met Russians in France that had been in training for fighting ever since they found out they where in the same group as England. They where confused as to why the vast majority of England fans didn’t want anything to do with hooliganism. Wembley, much like the Champions League Final, was always going to be like that. That would have happened in almost every other European country and it’s unfair to say it was an ‘English’ thing. You could see it from a mile away (I was there) and they (the stewards, police) where totally ill equipped to stop it because the organisers are on another planet.
  21. Yeah, I can. I love watching England, often more than Rovers. It’s an incredible feeling when you follow England away in numbers. I was confident in 2016, we had a good team and could have gone further than we did. 2018 the improvement was noticeable. When Luke Shaw scored at Wembley in 2021 I was stood in the Italian end convinced I was about to see us win a trophy. I refuse to go to Qatar, it’s a disgrace that it’s happening there. So my positive is that I’m happy that I’m not going to miss us winning a trophy live, because we’re not as good as we where in 2018 or 2021.
  22. Talks a lot of sense. Thought the first interview was interesting and the second one was really good. The way we operate with our owners creating valuations for key players is pretty bonkers, it sounds like BBD’s potential sale is totally out of the DOF and managers hands.
