  1. no need for the unnecessary dig at me Matty. would have expect much better for yourself. The price is what I expect from Leeds United so its not surprising.
  2. got for 2 nil Rovers win with Brereton scoring both if he starts
  3. who knows what the team will be. not sure Sharpe knows the team. I think we can say Raya, Reed, Mulgrew, Bennett will be in the team. the other 7 is wide open imo. I expect Rothwell to play
  4. Mowbray 3 transfer window came AFTER we got promotion. Last season was about promotion and nothing else. Mowbray said he would give last season players a proper chance but after the last 2 games I expect to see them play less some of them like Smallwood, Evans. Armstrong has been poor which is a shock apart from their Leeds performance. I expect we will see Brereton and Rothwell more now. chronic lack of balance in the squad? really? Hasn't Mowbray already explained how he wants to play his wide players in the 4-2-3-1 formation. certainly shouldn't be sacked anytime soon? well I hope not considering he just signed a new contract yesterday. Mowbray isn't going anywhere for a while
  5. Mowbray interview on Rovers website after signing his new contract https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/november/freeview-an-exciting-challenge-ahead-says-mowbray/
  6. We never know the answer to that question will we? Mowbray did do that but he hasn't given some of them proper chance so far like Brereton and Rothwell
  7. I am right. I couldn't agree more than what @HowieFive0 is saying is right
  8. Well honest and integrity is a important part of being Blackburn Rovers manager after the past 10 years. I think the 2 transfer windows signings strategy is understandable and following similar to Wilder(who I rated very highly) at Sheff Utd. We need 2 or 3 signings each window and keep improving the current squad aswell which will involved certain players to leave who will not be good enough for a promotion push. Well he aint going anywhere any time soon is he? delighted about the new contract
  9. take us down? really? no chance at all. we will be top 12 which is a very good season for us.
  10. Great news after an awful week, and Nothing more than Mowbray deserved. He has brought honest and integrity to the manager and brought the fans, club and players back together I would offered him a 4 year contract and said this is the guy to take us forward and back to the Premier League 1000% agree. Shows the owners and Mowbray are on the same wavelength and have a plan going forward Supporter unrest? really? we lost 2 games and played awful but overall its been a very decent start.
  11. Dont mind that team but Brereton has to start. Lenihan could be out injured and 2 left footed doesnt work. As Mowbray doesnt work
  12. No, he is a nice guy, you should attend a meeting or event where Mowbray talks about football and the past. You would enjoyed it. have you ever talk to Mowbray or even met him? Some managers wouldn't explained their tactics and what his thinking is. Mowbray does time after time after and deserved huge praised for doing so and to the fans. His reasons for bringing in Rodwell and playing him at centre back are out there so I wont go over them again. He mentioned 3 windows after we got promotion and bring a squad slowly to challenge for promotion. Maybe research your points 1st. A mid table finish this season would be a good season for us. And fans need to patience with their over excitement and realised we are building a football team here. I expect Rothwell and Brereton will get their chances in the coming weeks. Mowbray is always forward planning and look a transfer window IMO. We lack a winger but if Armstrong is going to play there regular then fair enough but I rather see him up front. Mowbray has loads of credits in the bank and any talk of removing him or him being sack is pathetic and people need to realised how he has change this club mentality and fans belief in the club agreed
  13. Great post @Mellor Rover. Nolan and Nsiala arent even in Ipswich match day squad.
  14. Just my opinion on what I think he will do. Bilmey I gave up with you. Possible
  15. fair enough JB I don't want you to buy a drink. Thanks but I'm not interested
  16. very easy after a game but not at the time. I will judge Mowbray on the same things as always. don't like tough! I would have took Dack and Smallwood off and bought on Rothwell and Brereton at half time Look at the team I would have picked for the Wigan game and the team I would pick for Sheff Wednesday game. Will answer your smallwood Evans question. I keep putting Brereton in my team recently for a number of week, FFS, so that's should answer that question. Look at the team Ive picked for Sheff Wednesday game, does that suggest long ball? really? I never thought we would sign Rodwell. I have suggest who I would have signed for that position in the summer,
  17. sadly not. far too much respect for Mowbray as a person and for the job he has done here I want nothing to do with you or your betting no answer to whether they are close friends of yours, why? another try?
  18. so no plan from you? I would drop Dack and play Rothwell there with Palmer and Conway wide with Reed and Rodwell in centre midfield with Bennett and Bell in full backs area and Lenihan and Mulgrew at centre back. we have to agree and disagree on Graham performances this season and our transfer recruitment(apart from a winger). I do agree about our tempo has been higher and the intensity need to be up a few notches. I would drop Dack. have we ever play a back of 3 Lenihan, Rodwell and Mulgrew? IMO that's a good back 3. I think Mowbray will line up like this Raya Lenihan Rodwell Mulgrew Bennett Reed Evans Bell Palmer Rothwell Brereton
  19. cos I don't believe them to be stupid decisions but I try to understand why Mowbray has done what he has done and his thinking. You can moan and whinge about Rodwell to the cows come home but it aint changing out. nope when Martinez kept them up. Research it and you will the answers. thanks for sharing Neal that story. Its sounds just like Mowbray and his passion and desire coming through. I'm pleased he lost his temper with the players and told them straight. Its sounds like the players haven't been listen to him. I really hope he plays Rothwell from the start
  20. sadly not Mercer. I don't over reacted to bad performances just some people do. as @Boroblue has said I couldn't called for Mowbray to go and leave. not much better than when Coyle was here? We have had 2 bad games but Mowbray and players will produced a win on Saturday how about you stop mentioning either of them!!! They didn't deserve to ever work at this great football and to wear their Rovers badge on the chest. Completely and utter embarrassment either was to allow to enter the door. Mowbray is nothing like either of those two but you do keep mentioning them. wonder why? close friends of them?
  21. Baker and Penney play has the wing backs. Reach and Mathis play more as inside wide players. We tried it and teams marked Dack out of the game. Any suggestions? Sheff Wed will sit deep and probably man mark Dack. So how would you try to get Dack more involve?
  22. Wing backs Do you know who he played last game?
  23. Dack needs dropping. his form is awful and people have worked us out and we need to change it up. His performances in the last 2 games have been pathetic. any other player you would drop him? I would drop him and play Rothwell there
  24. final chance. Sheffield don't play with wingers tho. They played 3-4-3 or 3-5-1-1.
  25. Look at Mowbray reaction yesterday when we kept losing the ball and mispassing of the ball. Yes your favourite stat that you never stop mentioning It is a valid argument but it doesn't suit you. so if you know the reasons why Mowbray is using Rodwell there then why asked me the question. Yet again I told you why we change formation and went 3 at the back, so did @arbitro aswell. thanks great. This passing style would be worked in training alot before being played in a match like Martinez did at Wigan when he changed to 4-2-3-1 to 3-4-3 formation
