Fair enough
-
Well thats you gumboots sadly not everyone is like yourself. You clearly enjoy yourself so fair play to you. Always have something to eat even if I watching a movie at home. Like I said to you thats you. Me and my missus like to make a day/night of it. Thats us.
-
Why? Cos I like to.take my missus out once every couple of months or away for the weekend like the Boro game. Do you do that for your wife/girlfriend?
-
Very tight buying nothing.its at least 40 pounds a time cinema then a nando meal which is 40 to 50 pounds a time. Maybe not for you but most people buy a drink and food. I aint scrooge at all ???
-
Tuesday and Wednesday are a no for some people due to working. And its hardly romantic on a Tuesday is it??
-
Maybe check this before you come out with such comments https://www.myvue.com/book-tickets/summary/10007/169939/240607

How many of people were glory chasing and only turn up cos we were going up? The deals on offer are season tickets and half season tickets. Not single games even tho I and yourself suggested doing a special offer over christmas and we said kids tickets for a pound.
-
Basic seats are 13 pounds per person. Would you like a link? Missus or kids always want at Drink and something to eat at least. Pretty standard.
-
well they aren't going to get the Rovers bug unless they go games. You talk about the cinema but after a quick check at Blackburn Vue cinema website to watch a film on Thursday is 13 pounds per ticket before buying food and drink. I would only go Cinema on Friday or Saturday for a romantic night with the missus. I wouldn't think of going midweek as it would be very inconvenience and unsuitable for me. It might suit you now that you are retired from work. Thinking of the last time I went to the cinema think it cost me just over 40 pounds that was before we went to Nando at Blackburn for tea afterwards does we play Sheffield Wednesday on the 1st of December and WBA on the 1st of January. The only way the fans will feel the total commitment of the players and Mowbray is by being in the stadium and attending games surely? If People are put off by 3 pounds charge then they aren't interest enough and want to watch the Rovers played live. I have suggested a number of different tickets scheme the club could use so don't start using pointless line like you have. surely the only way they are attached to the club is by attending games regarding of cost? attend a game, don't attach or still interest then don't come back after giving it a chance?

Graham set for a new deal https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17232109.danny-graham-set-for-new-rovers-deal/

Its proof that its seems the majority of late potential fans arent put off. By fans coming to ground and supporting the team instead of waiting for special offers and cheap tickets. The season tickets for the full season and half season are cheap enough. Around 15 pounds per adult. Cheaper for kids. Sounds a good deal to me

True but I given my suggestion for that position. Think Mowbray will target Freeman again possibly -

Qpr wont sell him either. Look at what happen when Freeman was going to be sold McClaren was going to resign over it. Whilst Burke isnt playing and quite possible that WBA could cut their losses and sell for around 10mil including on loan. Plus Burke could want out aswell. -

Its my opinion of the SPL after seeing some of the live football this season. Would Celtic or Rangers even have the same squad if they came to the championship so you cant compare at all. We have no idea how McKenna would do at bigger club or at a better level of football. Lets see if he got a move in January or whether no one buy him due to cost or whether people don't rate him. I do not overestimate the quality of the championship at all but its yourself with your pompous attitude who under estimate the quality here. Both players who have to play wide have defensive duties to do and this is just as much important as the attacking duties. You bring up the 2 defeats but not the games we have won or draw in that time he has played well. no one is being pedantic and winding people up. so stop winding me up with such poor comments. I am fully aware of how much Burke cost WBA but I believe its a player the owners would fund Mowbray with if he wanted him due to the cost, potential, anmd already resale value of the play who under Mowbray is likely to improve so much I am fully aware of how much Burke cost WBA but I believe its a player the owners would fund Mowbray with if he wanted him due to the cost, potential, anmd already resale value of the play who under Mowbray is likely to improve so much I am fully aware of how much Burke cost WBA but I believe its a player the owners would fund Mowbray with if he wanted him due to the cost, potential, anmd already resale value of the play who under Mowbray is likely to improve so much. was Bauer performing badly cos he wanted to leave and was upset over not getting him move to Blackburn Rovers in the summer. -

I miss Barrow name. I would be happy with his signing but I would look at Burke from WBA. On McGinn, I would judge over a full season. Every single player was shocking poor against Sheffield United who were at their best against us and man mark Dack out of the game. I see Bennett has a player who can play 3 roles in this side and very well in these position. For me, He starts every game. -
agree with all your posts today in this thread. all correct in my opinion

The way you talk its like the surcharge is putting loads of people off which it is not. I walk past the ticket office about 2pm-2.15pm every Saturday home game and they are plenty of people queueing up there. Plus the figures we have that over 800 people are buying after 12pm deadline and is not a put off for many fans. Its 3 pounds which is not alot of money, you will come back and say it is for some people but not when you are buying a ticket at 30 pounds.

Bennett and Armstrong are 2 different types of wide players and you have to take them into account and what each player gives you. Its very important that you have players who can play 2 or 3 positions within the team and during games. Players like Reed, Rodwell, Williams, Bennett and Rothwell I think Mowbray will have one eye on a Graham type replacement in the summer depending whether Graham will continue next season here. on a Dack replacement? very tough and possible impossible to sign a like for like replacement. Bennett has been more than good enough at Right back. On the centre back thing, Its depends how Mowbray sees Williams and Rodwell. Mowbray has said he sees Rodwell as a centre back and Williams has lots pf games as centre back and I think suits centre back role more if we are at home as Bell is more attacking full back. For me, Bennett is the 3rd name on the team sheet every week after Mulgrew and Dack. I don't see Reed and Bennett as incredibly negative either. Clearly you thought this against Stoke when we won there and both players played brilliant. I would be playing Bennett on the right wing with Armstrong on the left wing against Preston with Reed and either Evans or Smallwood depending on Evans fitness. I wouldn't be playing Palmer from the start in this game -

no chance can we afford any of them. I wouldn't be bringing any SPL players either. Don't believe their standard is good enough for mid table Championship football I think we will sign Bauer in January if he is allow to leave Charlton. Gestede and Wood wages are far too much for us as the article says above there is wage cap in place and make sure we don't over spend on wages like we did when we sign Best, Etuhu, Murphy and Rhodes, Gomes we don't need 3 or 4 players in. Bennett has done fine at Right back even tho I prefer Nyambe there. Brereton last 2 performances up front has show Mowbray he is a striker now -

We only need 2 signings in January for me. Centre back and a winger. We dont need to be make signings just for the need of. I would loan out Nuttall, Travis and Tomlinson out. Then the squad would be GK's - Raya Luetwiler Fisher DEF's.- Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Downing Williams Rodwell new signing MID's - Bennett Evans Reed Smallwood Davenport Palmer Dack Conway Rothwell new signing ST's - Graham Armstrong Brereton Thats give us 22 players to used -

Here the article https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17230249.the-recruitment-plan-is-in-overdrive-rovers-boss/ I think we need 2 or 3 new signings -
I thought you meant just for the season ticket. Sorry for that. Yes I would agree my cost are well over 600 pounds per year on just home games. I do like to get some food before whether it from the chippy on Bolton Road, or from inside Rovers or from Butty shop around the corner from Friend house. I used like a beer in my younger days but since alot of pubs have gone we go in and it isn't a day out anymore due to everyone circumstances. fair enough Matty. ?? No I would say watching tv, tv series and films is the most costly per month cos the Sky and Netflix bill. compare to the Rovers cost which is about half of the Sky/Netflix bill

It was idea after a knowing a couple of people who cant make midweek games and can only make Weekend games. These people haven't bought season ticket cos of this but instead go to 1 game a month instead
