Rovers have been trying to get Dack to sign a new contract for months. Make him the highest paid player here. I dont see us selling him in January or next summer(unless he doesnt sign a new contract)?

Looking at most keepers they tend to punch more now then catch it.

I'm not sure that the our Goalkeeper coach is coaching him to punch/flapped at the ball instead of catching it(which I prefer) But something he has been coached from a early age. When you watch the warm ups before the game he is catching the ball from crosses every time so unsure why he punched the ball

Time moved on from Ray Illingworth time in charge as England selector. England picked the best 2 county openers in terms of form and runs in Sibley and Crawley. Look at when Vaughan and Trescothick. Hardly set the world on fire but performed excellent in their time as Enlgand players
