  1. Sam Barnes scores.. 4 3 Rovers
  2. Rothwell face doesnt fit? Really? Travis learnt and develop plus his under 23's performances keep him knocking on the door. He got his chance and prove himself. Now 1st choice and undropable
  3. Well it does cos if it direct to Graham all.the time then wide players arent going to do well. Now with us playing differently now will hopefully lead to a better all round team. Chapman not playing isnt down to lack of goals but down to his desire, passion, attitude and work rate. As people who are regular under 23's watchers have seen he has been poor.
  4. haven't we been over this before? Sharpe has said that Rovers/Mowbray didn't get their 1st 3 choices for the Keeper target. Sometimes you cant always get who you want for varied reasons despite you wanting them. TBH, I think Walton has proved to be more than good enough and better than Raya so far. Cos maybe the keeper we wanted wasn't allow to leave at that time Would you say it not better for Fisher development to be play 1st team football and would you say Hilton is ready to 3rd choice keeper?
  5. I appreciated Mowbray telling the fans exactly why Chapman isn't playing. If Chapman isn't playing well enough and showing the passion, desire and work rate in game and training than quite rightly he shouldn't be playing for the 1st team. We have seen that if you play well for under 23's you can break into the 1st team squad like Buckley, JRC. So it is down to Chapman to show this. We have seen the comments the posts of people who attend the under 23's games and they have said he hasn't performance well enough
  6. well we will lack goal and assist contributions if Plan A is a long ball to Graham. That's well we need to develop a different style that make the most of our squad. We seen the impact of Downing from wide area. You are right about Mowbray being too loyal but we have seen him go away from this in recent months, with Mulgrew and Raya leaving, Smallwood and Evans out of starting 11.
  7. Walton Bennett Lenihan Williams Cunningham Travis Johnson Buckley Dack Downing Gallagher Subs:- Luetwiler Nyambe JRC Evans Rothwell Armstrong Graham
  8. They need a manager and recruitment in place by tomorrow IMO.
  9. Or Grayson or Platt needed an experience centre back next to them would be very different story
  10. To match the Sheff Utd formation as I just said Chapman on bench at best.
  11. Not for me. I would 5-3-2 and match them up. League game on Saturday matters more. Get a point or more on Saturday I will be very happy
  12. Chapman would be on bench at best for tomorrow Warnock had Bacuna marked him out of the game. Dack couldnt move him. I Would go with Rothwell, Downing, Gallagher, Armstrong
  13. Graham wont start on Saturday. And in my view neither should Dack.
  14. Luetwiler Nyambe Tosin Grayson JRC Bell Buckley Smallwood Rothwell Gallagher Armstrong That's the team I think we will see.
  15. Look at the people inside the stadium on Saturday watching the cricket..about 30 to 40 ppl. Or Elderly lady in front of me who doesnt know why the music is so load about 5 to 10 mins before kick off. Ive already said my thoughts on attendances previously.
  16. Not everyone wants music being play loud tho. People like to talk and watch the game on the tv. Playing music before a game doesnt get me more.up for the game or have any baring on my support for the team
  17. how much are both worth now tho? deffo not even 15 mil together so the fee they cost is mooted point. Bought in 6 players for a total of 500k and sold players worth over 35 mil and save over 12 million on the wages. So massive cutbacks there are happening. got a decent squad there but not sure it got the strength in depth you need to be honest
  18. Gallagher didn't stand out against Boro? really? He was outstanding Like I have told you before Mowbray has gone back to basics to get points on the board after 2 games we lost. similar to what a Sam Allardyce or Mark Hughes would have done. would you have criticise these managers for the same approach? The current plan that has got us 7 points from 3 games and 3 clean sheets.
  19. Gallagher has done more than enough to warrant his place. He worked his socks off in every game. He never stop working back or getting forward. He has a few chances but not scored. But neither have the other forwards or Midfielders has scored from open play either.
  20. Not everyone wants music being high where you cant talk to people around you. I always enjoying a chat to people around where you sit discussing football, cricket, family, plans for after the football. The woman in front of me hate the music being loud 5 to 10 mins before kick off. So the club cant cater for everyone choices. We got to the ground for 1.30pm.yesterday got our burger from burger van behind the Rovers store then heading inside the stadium to watch the cricket and Norwich/Chelsea match. I dont have the magic answers to get fans back or to increase attendance back to what the were 10 years ago.
  21. still 7 points from 3 games in a week and 3 clean sheets. If Sam Allardyce would have been manager and done which Mowbray has done this week you would be full of praise. Correct? Warnock picked his tactics before our team was announced. So even if Rothwell or Armstrong had been on pitch it would have very little impact on Dack being man marked out of the game. Gallagher has had some chances as I told you before so your comment of "offered no real goal threat" is just wrong. I think Gallagher has been good so far in Rovers shirt
  22. But you need to look at them players that have left and their wages they were earning at the club plus fees for certain players sold. Outgoing players Bony, Olsson, Fer, Montero(loan), Narsingh, Ayew(2.5 mil), James(15 mil) and McBurnie(17 to 20 20 mil). about 250 to 300k a week save there in wages. so that 12 to 15 mil save per year on wages. Plus fees there. Players they signed Peterson (500k), Bidwell on a free, loan in 4 players in Wilmot, Kalulu, Woodman and Sam Surridge. So you would deffo say they has been massive cutbacks there wouldn't you?
  23. give it rest pal on your 1st paragraph. not going over it again. Having a Rothwell or Chapman in the team isn't going to stop someone like Warnock man marking Dack out of the game. Like I told you yesterday, we have gone back to basics to get points on the board. similar to what a Mark Hughes or Sam Allardyce would have done after losing the 1st 2 games. Would you have criticism them for doing this back in the PL days? of course you wouldn't have done so, so why do it now? You cant have it both ways pal, where you said you aren't bothered if wen play boring football and win, so why have you change your opinion after picking 7 points in 3 games in a week? We create 3 or 4 good chances yesterday and another day we would have at least 2 goals. And I think Gallagher has played well so far without scoring tho he had a couple of chances. Should have done better with a header at Fulham if my memory is serve me right and a chance against Boro which he didn't hit right. Yes Attacking wise we need to be better but we are building from the back by keeping clean sheets. We seem to much better now defensively then in the 1st 2 games which massive plus so far this season
  24. league 1 and 2 clubs cant afford to pay these financial penalties. That's how some of them getting into money problems by over paying for players on perm deals or loan deals. Clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea or any clubs should not be allow to charge these financial penalties to any clubs
  25. Swansea have look very good against Birmingham who have been poor. Look like Nathan Jones is going nowhere with him bring in a friend as director of football there.
