  1. the quality of the mid table teams has improved over recent years and the amount they will spend on transfers. Teams coming up like Ipswich and Burnley are spending big money but not on proven PL quality. Ipswich spend big on Delap and its worked out for him and he will move to bigger club, rumours are Manchester United move now. Ipswich have build a squad that should win the Championship next season. Leicester losing their head coach and appoint Cooper but limited spending. Southampton spent alot also but there approach seem a scattering gun approach to transfers. Will be interesting to see Who Leicester and Southampton appoint as their new head coach for the championship campaign. not sure the whole pyramid is fucked as suggested either but clubs spent more than previous and with more foreign owners and they want success and quick, and will try spend to get that. It was only 4 years ago that Stockport County were in the national league and winning that league, now possibly 2 games of being a Championship club again. Barrow AFC having the success they have in recent years or Salford under the class of the 92 until the last 5 years when they have been stuck in league 2 and can't get promotion. Now been takeover by Neville and Beckham with a few businessman to rebuild and invest more into the club to get promotion and get the championship. Think were they were before the class of 92 bought them
  2. Probably not but they have talent we want to see coming through hence why Rovers have signed them on 2 years contracts and option. Tyjon and Montgomery will be more part of this squad going forward and we should be developing our own players and bringing through if good enough. 6 games for Altrincham is what you basing this on? given we know nothing apart he joined them for the final 6 games. We need to do much better picking clubs for our young players to join. Garrett 2 loans spells were a disaster for him and us. where did you say this? in the interview with Elliott Jackson he mentioned about us going back to bringing through more young players into the first team and he mentioned how many minutes they played under JDT which was around 2,000 minutes and trying to get back to those minutes if players are there
  3. I wouldn't want him now, last summer I did but its not the type of striker/forward I think we need. We need pace in the team. We won't get much for Joe Boggan, minimum fee especially if he goes overseas.
  4. my reply wasn't towards you Matty! The European competitions need a small revamp and what they are actually about. When you are knock out of one of competition you shouldn't enter another one
  5. I can't say that has been my experience when speaking or emailing people at Rovers. Good advice if you only attend to Saturday 3pm kick off aswell
  6. and what comments are those bluebruce?
  7. Fulham, Brentford and Brighton fully deserved to in the PL and they should be The Champions League format can't/won't be change of the power of bigger clubs but UEFA don't want that change either. I would prefer it straight knock out competition over 2 legs but never going to happened. The cups winners should be in their own version of European cup competition and the runner ups of the competitions should qualify for Europe not revert to the league position.
  8. Ethan Erhahon has established himself as a key figure in Lincoln City’s midfield since arriving from St. Mirren in the 2022–23 season. Last weekend, he featured prominently once again, anchoring The Imps’ midfield in their clash with League One runners-up Wrexham. This scouting report analyses his performance using match event data and more traditional holistic scouting techniques. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jamie-witcher_ethan-erhahon-scout-reort-vs-wrexham-ugcPost-7326523925079760896-QBNI?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAABn0IYMBLGIiqOXNyXoCW1hj0cQfcSt26ec
  9. FA cup isn't a league format and that what you qualify for the champions league for. Not for cup winners, which is what the conference Europe league should be there for. Also Palace should qualify for Europe given they have reach the FA cup, it shouldn't revert back to the league if City win the FA cup
  10. I have rephased my comments do you want to be upsetting you Matty do we?
  11. Same old comments from the same people. Its get abit tiring seeing it time after time.
  12. So you keep saying. Riis 12 goals this season and Woodman is a good keeper at this level. They will missed both of them badly
  13. All based on my opinion RF99. I think we will look for players from a range of different markets to sign. I dont think we stick to one market.
  14. Anyone watch Mobland? Is it worth watching?.
  15. Armstrong was sold and the training ground was sold to help us meet FFP requirements as the Armstrong money wasnt enough to not get embargo or restrictions on signings. the year after we had a surplus/budget for few signings hence those 3 good signings made
  16. Probably off somewhere like France or Belgium.
  17. Brittain, Hyam and Szmodics weren't. During last summer, you are correct.
  18. You mean like they did with Woodman and Riis. Both leaving them on a free
  19. I don't look at PNE with envious eyes at all.
  20. I would have liked to see Rovers carry on phase 1 until end of May/Start of June pay day before phase 2 happens. JDT spent around that amount in the 18 months here but after the project changed that second summer and his heart went from it. Eustace had 4m-5m spent during this season and he had us challenging for playoffs place but he was the head coach here but clearly want more of say in transfers than had here. I think these ST packages are more next season, we need the technology in place to allow fans to be allocate that seat.
  21. a player can soon sign a contract on holiday from overseas/on holiday, that was 2 months ago, not recently is it?
  22. commercial the clubs need more sponsors and more local sponsors would be ideal but I would say that at the minute given the finances of alot of companies it isn't viable at the minute. Businesses and families are struggling at the minute out there. I would like a new range of food on the concourse and I will let the club know my feelings shortly. given a few weeks ago, people didn't think we would get to these numbers of ST's sold and people were predicting 3-4k ST's sold. We are now back to similar number we had 7/8 years ago. I welcome Yasir Sufi's comments about having different ST's packages coming forward for people who want to commit to 15 games for example and wants a flexi season ticket. I also welcome the digitalisation of ST for some fans who want them like myself.
  23. and they just about stayed up and fans are questions Heckingbottom's tactics and now its end of the season, they went to know what the plan is now cos a new squad needs to be build including a new number 1 keeper, wings backs, midfielders, strikers. My friends would like a new coach who plays different way to Heckingbottom and actually play with some wingers.
  24. But you are supporter of the club and stakeholder of the club at the end of the day, why not raise your concerns and problems with the club either yourself, through the fans forum or WATR(if a member)
  25. Players have agents and negotiations can happened now. Players aren't negotiating contracts anymore.
