  1. Quality first. If it's quality loan players then so be it. I would like 2 permanently and 1 loan signings permanently. We see in 5 weeks time Won't happen? Says who?
  2. We see in 5 weeks time pal what business we have done and who we sign I wanted a striker, left winger and a defender who can play left back and centre beck
  3. Mark Robins is the odds on favourite(1/7) for the Stoke Job That's what I was thinking either of them taking over or maybe look at someone like Michael Skubala at Lincoln
  4. Wouldn't we got the first instalment when Wharton signed, then another 6 months after(July) then another one(Jan2025)?
  5. Firstly, the Wharton money paid the club debt off in the Rovers accounts. ok Its all about quality not how much we spend who we sign whether its permanent or loan. I'm interested who we signed and whether it will kick us on to get that playoff place.
  6. Ennis was sold 11 months ago
  7. in my post to Herbie, I said I was using Cannon name for example purposes. Fair simple.
  8. his comments in LT after the Hull game "We have spoken about it already and everyone connected at the football club would like two or three quality players to help the group,"
  9. Eustace has said 2 or 3 signings he wants
  10. I said for example purpose, maybe try reading what was posted Rev. Might save you posted this. Your point that there is nothing in that type of deal for parent club, that's where you are wrong, if he did come and help us get promote then Leicester have what they want a sale. that's the carrot for them.
  11. I agree with you. For example purpose if we sign Tom Cannon on loan to buy and a winger for £1m then I would find that acceptable cos you sign a quality striker there.
  12. The Wharton money has gone for me. It paid for last season debt to be cover instead of the owners. We spent a small bit(around £2m or less) in the summer. So it will be interesting to see what we spend this window?
  13. What would be acceptable spend in January in you opinion?
  14. Why? Rooney got the job cos the Plymouth's director of football Neil Dewship was his youth coach during his time at Everton
  15. Brighton and Irish striker. Good player with PL experience Striker with championship experience, left winger, and centre back who can play left back. Bindon not close to signing
  16. 1000% He did a great job, dignity, honour to the job.
  17. Awful Manchester United tonight. Massive rebuilding job there for Amorim now Lewis Hall, left back for Newcastle, excellent tonight and I hope Tuchel picks him as England left back now. Much deserved. Nuno has got them playing well, Well organised, counter attacking and Wood, Gibbs-White, Anderson, Hudson-Odoi and Elanga all playing very well.
  18. no one is getting excited RF99. I don't expect us to spend £5m on proven striker just to clear
  19. the club hasn't announced everything yet. Jackson might have mentioned something on his podcast today but I haven't listened to it yet I don't agree, I think Leicester would prefer him in promotion winning/chasing team. Well of course Eustace wouldn't know that but he would be told that by Gestede and Waggott. Other than that Eustace wouldn't know How much there is? god knows, We see by the end of the window
  20. No, I attend my first game in September 1993. I'm still the right side of 40 years old yet thanks.
  21. That's what I read, but Cannon would be part of team challenging for playoffs instead of relegation like Stoke are. Plus we can offer to buy at the end of the season. Very few championship clubs can afford to buy him unless promote. Unlikely? We are 5th. We stand a decent enough chance and if we can add quality wide player and striker then it should be good chance
  22. Zirkzee look close to tears there when coming out. United fans celebrating when he was coming off.
  23. Man utd woeful at the back. 🤣
  24. I love supporting this wonderful club Blackburn Rovers and I am so proud to be Rovers fan. I thanks my dad for making sure I was Rovers fan from a young age and taken me to my first Rovers game which was Bournemouth at home in the league cup in September 1993
