My thoughts on the Duncan McGuire fiasco(only word to describe it btw) is it getting pathetic to witness such incompetence from those above GB and JDT to allow this to potential happen again after last January transfer problem with Lewis O'Brien. I really feel for the player who is here and was at today game. I thought what happened to him in the last 2 days of the transfer window was a bloody pathetic to witness from our club. I would like to know where our permanent transfer for him changed to a loan to buy deal. I was pleased to actually get our first choice striker target in this window and we chased him. I will be fuming if this deal hasn't actually happened. Its like Soap opera here and I am wondering when will end, even the writers of the Sky One Tv series dream team(Harchester United) couldn't have wrote a better script. On the overall view on the transfer activity is it alot of short term signings and very little long term planning and signings apart from O'Riordan and potential McGuire deal(if we sign him perm). Also where has the Adam Wharton transfer money gone? why didn't we use any of the money to sign McGuire Permanent or look at more permanent signings for the rest of this season and beyond. Players like Paddy McNair, Chris Willock, David Turnbull, Max Bird, Callum Styles. But yet again nothing again. Very disappointed by this. I think Fleck and McFaz deals are logical but only contracts till end of the season. Chrisene looked very good today.

JDT in his post match press conference as open and honest with the fans as he can been. He is very ambitious and he wants to get this club back to the PL and stay there. No didn't come here to be lower mid table championship head coach. Sadly there is no ambition from those above apart from GB about getting back to the PL

My thoughts on the game, We started off well but after the first 15 mins we played poor. Should have been 3 or 4 nil down. Second half started well but then conceded 2 goals in 4 mins, even after that we tried to get back into the game. we scored and and should have get an equaliser. No surprised by the chants towards Waggott and Venkys. The club is slowly dying under this ownership and CEO. There is no ambition under these people and JDT/GB do but don't received the backing they should. JDT wants promotion and get Rovers back to the PL and he signed up for very different project to this current one.

We have Tronstad, Garrett, Ayari, JRC, Buckley(back soon and the ideal player to replace Wharton in the 8 role), potential new signing Our recruitment should fit the way we play football. I'm not sure he would start tbh here. I think Garrett or Ayari will take the place of Wharton

woah 2 games. Travis didn't suit JDT's type of playing style and what he wants from the number 6 role and the number 8 role

No Travis wanted to leave cos he wasn't playing and when he did play he wasn't playing in the position he wanted in the 6 role Gallagher and Dolan both have 12 months club option in their contracts.

Gone very quiet today. Still angry and mad about Rovers not signing McGuire after trying to sign him all window, finally agreeing a fee with his clubs and then to cancel it mid flight is inexcusable for me. Look forward to hearing Rovers reason for doing so

Duncan McGuire's flight to Manchester arrived at Terminal 2 7.58 this morning. I hope GB was there meeting him and taking him and his agent straight to Brockhall

I really hope that Rovers sign McGuire today plus others otherwise. I don't get why they would stop the transfers money is there from Wharton plus Raya money and maybe Carter money if sold. We need players in. I hope GB and JDT have convinced them to back their plans for recruitment. It's is inexcusable not to sign players. Well I hope we complete McGuire and a couple more signings today before the deadline happens otherwise it is unacceptable considering we sold a player for 18m plus 4m.

Exactly the club come first and we want players to play here and happy here. Travis wanted out twice within 5 months. He wanted to leave here. Wrong there. I don't want to sell Wharton tbh but turning down 22m would be huge if we reinvest some of money(around 50%) and sign players in the window and in the summer For what? Wanted players to be here and signed players that suit our formation and style of play
