He said we were interest in Rajovic but nowhere did he say we would buy him. We had interested in the player which given he has scored 8 goals this season its clear why we would be interest in him. -

Yes Gav, I am very aware of when Uncle Jack passed away but my point being that the Walker family should have properly respected Uncle Jack's wishes and be very careful who they sold the club to. They wanted rid of it around 2009 and exactly why they enlisted the help of other people to get a sale. -

The wage bill will be restore to previous season and Gallagher, Ennis and Markanday will be off the wage bill. I not over complicated it all discussing the wage bill and I let that for people who do it for professional job like GB. What I have suggested is what Norwich did under Webber and it works for them -

why would we want to extend Gallagher's contract for 12 months when he is huge wages, injury prone and not good enough to be our main striker? -
It was last season aswell. We beat Leicester 2-1

Alex Scott went from mid table championship club to Lower mid table PL club. Similar to this transfer. Maddison went from Norwich to Leicester for £20m back in 2018. No one wants to sell Wharton but that money if we sold for £25m and we reinvest half of it into 6 quality players who would improve the overall depth and quality of the squad would make us more competitive and better chance of promotion plus keep JDT here next season. Wharton won't wait for ages for promotion and he will want to be playing PL football as soon as possible. Ideally that would be with us. I do think he will stay here until the summer and either move to Newcastle or Man Utd. Dan Ashworth, Newcastle United DoF has scouted himself a few times so he clearly rated him -
delighted to get Newcastle at home. Just need to win tomorrow night now. COYB!

I agree we should be selling Gallagher for £2m and use the funds to sign players but also get his wages of the bill where we can spend the wages on players who can play games and make more of an impact on games Yates would be good signing for us and give us quality and experience up front. 14 goals last season for relegation team Blackpool last season I feel £25m is about the right price considering how much Alex Scott was sold to Bournemouth to Bristol City I'm sure he is one will be look at if we get funds to buy him through Wharton sale -

I would be interested who these people were who was interested at the time. I am only aware of Venkys, Dan Williams, Chris Ronnie and Laurence Bassini. The Walkers should have kept running the club until they found the right owners. I would like to see Simon Williams and Iain Currie running Rovers under new ownership in the future I do, The Walkers decide to sell and get rid the club asap to Venkys who as you said ticked all the boxes but never turned out like we hope. The Walker family owe Rovers fans apology for sure -
Liverpool and the PL is losing one of the best manager we've ever had here in Klopp. He has delivered for Liverpool and their fans. We are losing a legend

You should never write off England team with Stokes as Captain, maybe should people will learn from this win like Jim Maxwell. Fantastic win by us. Pope's innings was fantastic and Hartley taking 7 wickets.

I agree that the Walkers should have held on and listening to our board about massive TV deals around the corner. Seems like they just wanted the money in asap -

Its a shame these interested parties weren't actually interested when the Walker family were selling the club. -

If we do sign Phillips on loan he will add some experience and height to then defensive. O'Riordan will also add height to the team. Hopefully we can add at least 2 more. Pacey winger and striker being the targets. Then Wharton replacement if he does leave and not loan back. I still think Markanday and Ennis will leave on loan in this window. I think this Gallagher transfer will get done before the deadline if we sign a quality striker to come in. Nixon linking us to Swansea striker Jerry Yates Would be delighted if we sign Yates -
Hartley doing well today. 3 wickets. Good LBW against Sharma. 2 brilliant catches by Pope at short leg and silly point

Why would Arsenal pulled out when the deal is done basically? David Raya sealing permanent move to Arsenal 'just a matter of time' (msn.com) Its required the club to talk to Brentford and get a deal agreed. Deals can been done quickly but the transfer market is still slow at this level. Other managers/head coaches are saying the same like Stoke City Steven Schumacher for example he hasn't even signed here yet a massive over reaction already. Who says we are relegation scrap? Broughton didn't. -

I would drop the 3 at the back cos Hyam as the right centre back didn't work and Scott Wharton was uncomfortable as the centre of the back 3. I think you would be better with JRC in the back 3 cos of his ability to move forward and overlapped the right back similar to how Wilder did it at Sheff Utd. I would go back to playing 4-2-3-1 personally myself as I think it suits our best players and we created more chances
