  1. I was talking from own point of view and why I think our ST prices is affordable from myself and something you yet again fail to grasp didn't know that about the Riverside prices increasing £17.39 per game is value for money to watch my team played at Ewood Park each season. Didn't over 8k people purchase ST this season shows that plenty of people did take them up. Yes, I agree that Rovers need to come up with different strategy to target people who can't attend every home game and you could offer a membership scheme with one payment then 25% off the original price for games. I would also like to see Rovers offer family tickets (1 adult with 1 kid or 2 adults with 2 kids) for games. Children (under 11's) ST's to be 1 pound for the season and a pound per game. a couple of quick questions @rigger 1) Do you have a season ticket? 2) if you don't what prevent you from purchasing one? Is it price, transport cost to get there, family and work commitments, etc, etc
  2. And we do have plenty of good English coaches in the English game. Rooney has only been a head coach for year. Let's see how he and other coaches are doing in 4 years when I think Southgate will go. I did say Lampard does need to improve and kick on his career now and Gerrard will need to pick his new job if he does want to back into it. They might be other choices in 4 years depends on what happens in that space of time. I haven't been watching it but I thought their performances against Denmark wasn't good either despite the score line.
  3. I don't think the prices are extortionate at all. £400 over a season and the fact I can fully committed to all 23 league games which makes a ST cheap for me and the best option for myself
  4. I disagree that English coaches are poor quality or failures more than other nationality. We have some very talented quality coaches out there. I hope Southgate will stay on as England manager and continue the good work he has done since taking over and he is our must successful England manager since 1966. He deserved alot more praised and confidence from England fans, media and pundits. On replacing him, I think we straight now we have 2 very good options if he does quit after this world cup but in four more years, I think we will 4 or 5 very good quality candidates by then Please could you explain what point you are trying to make. thanks in advance
  5. I am fully aware of that but PL money help Rovers keep prices low even tho we were less spending in the transfer market overall. We seen less than £20 pounds a season increase each season. which is less than a pound a game for ST holder
  6. Are prices that high when it was the same price as the previous season
  7. Just highlighted a very valid point, but England have plenty of good quality coaches who would be good replacements for Southgate when he leaves his post.
  8. totally rubbish Given that the games have only been arranged and confirmed this week from what I read It seems unfair to blame the club for anything.
  9. why the negatively comments?
  10. Once manager who was Scottish won the PL title 13 times which no one will ever come close achieving it again
  11. We have plenty of good quality coaches in England and always have. Whether its young up and coming coaches or experience ones.
  12. Blackburn Rovers CEO on Nottingham Forest pricing & £4m revenue target | Lancashire Telegraph
  13. I've seen the old firm derby on TV and the atmosphere and fan passion is excellent, hopefully one day I will see the old firm derby or Milan derby I would like to watch live inside the stadium. I think the overall quality of the league is poor tho, and I think he had a chance of being PL manager next season if he stayed at QPR, anyway he gone there now, and it will be interesting who they go for
  14. England played the situation correctly tonight. Good solid win and that is how you played Tournament football. Foden and Rashford played very well and Bellingham as number 10 with Henderson and Rice controlling midfield. Well done lads tonight, let's go and beat Senegal now,
  15. Thanks for that. This is why I wish the fans in ground and at home watching on TV could hear what is being discuss by the VAR people and the ref. Because the best countries should be employing their own countryman in the national team management. Do other leading countries like Germany, France, Holland, Spain, Brazil, Argentina employ overseas managers? I can't talk about Rugby as I don't follow it myself. It's interesting point that in the last 20 years that England success has come under Overseas coaches. Only thing that should matter is Football and nothing outside of that
  16. why would Rovers have done it deliberately?
  17. Surely the England national team manager should be English?
  18. I just don't understand why you leave a chance of getting promote to PL where head coaches want to manage at the end of the day.
  19. But they will be in the reckon in years to come if they are successful at club level. Also could you please answer thanks how are Howe and Potter only reasonable shouts and who are better shouts then those 2? What happened since I've not been watching it as I have zero interest in either team?
  20. That side would have plenty of skills, clever movement and creativity. I'm more important on what each player brings to the team then just overall form. I wouldn't have started Saka for the Iran game but gone with Foden even tho he scored 2 goals. How are Howe and Potter only reasonable shouts and who are better shouts then? I did say with all fairness that Lampard might be contender if he can improve his Everton team and kick them onto another level into Top 10 side and winning a trophy there would be success for Everton. Gerrard and Rooney might be contenders in years to come if they can become successful at their next job. In Rooney case his next job after DC united The main objective is winning the game and topping this group. I'm not over concerned about who we faced in the next round but more concerned we face in the last 8 stage if we win the round of 16 game, so I would say this game is just as important as the last 2 as we must top the group as the main priority Lampard was never going to turn down the Chelsea job. I did say that Lampard has to kick on now at Everton now. Its was pointless friendly played down under for Commercial reasons. I would also say Everton fans think of themselves as a big fish in the PL pond but they are just mid table PL club who owner as wasted millions after millions on a bunch of poor quality signings plus his managerial appointments have been poor overall like Benitiez, Silva, Allardyce. Ancelotti was an excellent appointment.
  21. what a boring and uninspiring draw that is. I guess the TV companies will be covering these games for sure Manchester City v Chelsea, Oxford United v Arsenal, Manchester United v Everton, Sheffield Wednesday v Newcastle United, Dagenham & Redbridge or Gillingham v Leicester City and possibly Middlesbrough v Brighton & Hove Albion
  22. Hope he enjoys the boring Scottish league for years to come.
  23. Newcastle or Leicester at home please. or even Accrington Stanley at home
  24. do I really need to considering its years since he was in football management and coaching. maybe time to move but think what might had been if certain things hadn't happened
  25. We aren't through at all tho. Such arrogant on show here, we need to win against Wales and top the group which is the priority. We don't know the full situation on Bellingham and maybe he is injury or has a fitness problem, we just don't know but yet again people go over the top without having the full information on the subject. We don't know what the team would be, but I would make a couple of changes but not the 5 changes that Karen Carney suggested on ITV this afternoon in the build-up to the Brazil Switzerland game. my changes would be Grealish and Foden in for Saka and Sterling. I would keep the back 4 in place and the midfield 3 of Mount, Rice and Bellingham, and of course Kane starts. Not really at all desperation that the England national team manager should be English and it's as simple as that. If you disagree fine but I have always believed that and I stand by that. Howe did a fantastic job at Bournemouth for years and He has massively improved Newcastle in terms of tactical but as players there. Potter is a very good coach, and he will improve Chelsea in the coming years I'm sure off that plus did a good job at Brighton playing some great entertaining football. Lampard has done a good job at Derby and Chelsea. He now needs to kick on at Everton and keep improving them plus maybe win a trophy. Gerrard did a very good job at Rangers but not enough at Villa. Maybe he will come back after a break next summer in the managerial circuit. On Herdman, he has done a very good as Canada head coach including leading them to their first finals in 36 years which is very good achievement, and he will learn from his mistakes he has made in the world cup, but he is someone who if he does kick on might be within a chance of England national team manager.
