  1. not really cos England players are very rarely available these days when the international cricket summer schedule starts. Maybe playing less county with 3 divisions of 6 with promotion and relegation is the way forward. playing each other home and away is the way formation. Allowing cricketers more time to practice and train. This will produce more quality cricket to watch
  2. Dack is a number 10 and bring in on much early would have need a changing how the front 3 were playing or change of formation.
  3. top 10 all season. I would have thoughts with all those millions in the bank you would be racking it in. I don't do the lottery anymore. waste of time.
  4. Clearly, I was backing Rovers here!
  5. That why players like Hyam and Morton to help us play that way. Plus the players are training to play this way but this will take time and given the lack of training that can happen with world cup disrupting the England football calendar this is why he has highlighted the 5 weeks gap being important for the team. Being 6th after 11 games is what I thought it would plan out with new footballing structure with new DoF and head coach plus a new way of playing and tactics I was thinking mid table at best. on the plan B I would suggest that would be 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation.
  6. I did aswell. England played very well. Posted in the cricket thread
  7. Leeds vs Villa wasn't good quality to watch. Plenty of desire and fight but no final product from either team
  8. Two very different club at different stages and Wolves will be concerned about Relegation and losing their best players. Rovers have a plan/project to get us to PL and keep us there. Why that? He is shaping the squad into how he wants to play and anyone who won't fit that model will be gone.
  9. what a player Harry Brook is. He is going to one of the best batsmen we had. Look like England will win the T20 series in Pakistan
  10. I guess it will be another Portuguese coach to be new Wolves head coach to replace Lage. Sky Bet have 3 Portuguese head coach at top of their betting Lage did a good job last season, and he has tried to switch to playing 4-3-3 formation now.
  11. City were outstanding and their quality show why they are best team in the PL.
  12. he has been playing for the under 21's and he was with the Rovers squad yesterday but was 19th man
  13. anything cos happen in the warmups. So have an extra man there is a sensible and logical decision. Joe Hilton also arrived at Ewood Park to warm up with the team later in the pre match warmups. In case Kaminski or Pears got an injury.
  14. City outstanding so far. Haaland is quality and his movement is Shearer like
  15. Brighton was excellent at Anfield against Liverpool. Watch the full game last night and Brighton deserved at least point. Brighton should have been 4 nil before Liverpool scored. Alexander-Arnold was awful defensively, and I thought the back 4 were all awful aswell. Gallagher scored a good goal for Chelsea to win the game for them in the 90 minute. Arsenal looking strong to be Man City closer title rivals. Good win against their local rivals Spurs. Spurs was poor tbh yesterday. Newcastle and Everton good solid wins. Newcastle shown how to win and well against 10 men. Coady was solid for Everton in their win yesterday
  16. Man City are domaining the Manchester derby so far. Foden scored a good goal.
  17. I would be making 1 change and that would be Brittain in for Gallagher. Move Hedges to the right side of the front 3. I believe Cardiff played 4-4-2 formation yesterday looking at their team that played.
  18. No thanks Matty, I will those threads to others in the particular part of the forum.
  19. Watford back on track with a 3 nil scoreline after 79 mins. Stoke City have been poor and don't look like the team we face when under Dean Holden
  20. I think Szmodics will prove his doubters wrong and be a good signing for this club.
  21. I think both are probably have thin ice and I would expect both will get the next 2 games then a decision might be made given that both teams don't have a midweek game like we do. I would imagine Dyche would be one of the favourites for the job. I had a look on one of fans site of Boro fans and not many people saying Wilder need to go but few people were suggesting Rob Edwards the former Watford and Forest Green Rovers head coach taking over. Some people on their feel that few signings were Wilder choice either like Forss and Hoppe. 2 clubs at very different stages and squad which need different type of coaches in my opinion. Rotherham united have offered the job to Exeter City manager Matt Taylor who is only 40 years old but been a number 1 for 4 seasons. While Hull are looking at Carlos Carvalhal as a possible option to become next head coach. They are looking to appoint before the next game Not sure that would be welcome by either fan base.
  22. Mercer, I know who have seen more than enough of both players to form an opinion on the type of player is. For me, 2 very different type of midfielders where Morton is a playmaker where Wharton is more box-to-box type. Wharton is a promising player, but we need to use him and manage his game time where I feel Morton is ready now to have bigger impact. Both are important to how we will perform throughout the season. I thought Morton was good yesterday. I have no idea who others would want in those 3. If you do, then fair play to you. on your last question, I think you already know my answer to that one and it isn't Beyonce, but that isn't for this thread I'm not so sure it has myself from what I seen and watch. Some people haven't moved on from Mowbray like I guy near me who is still mentioning him at every opportunity he can. I am very happy with where we are in the league table and I wasn't at this stage of the season being 6th but around mid-table at best I wouldn't say it's the Dutch way either. I would it very different to how we played before and with JDT experience as player and coach, he clearly was the players being to play and adapt to different formations but a similar style of play I would say that the overall performance wasn't great but certain aspects of the play and performance was acceptable. You could see how he wants to play and I think the Hedges at right wing back defensively but attacking wise drifting into the number 10 role. I would say Hedges and Hyam were above average and I gave them 8 out of ten with others receiving 6 or 7.
  23. Highlights From under 21's game. The link is from Manchester United site tho. https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/detail/short-match-highlights-blackburn-rovers-v-man-utd-under-21s-on-1-october-2022
