  1. England will play Iran, USA and another Europe team to be decide yet
  2. and I have asked you have you contact the club or fans forum about your problem with the excuse for doing it?
  3. Have you contact the club or fans forum to raise your concerns and problems? I would guess the club want to move from Paper tickets to online tickets or QR code for entrance for the games. I suspect that Season ticket will go the same way in the near future. Like I said this is becoming more and more features of social events now.
  4. I would suggest you ask and contact the club about it or asked Fans forum to raise the issue at the next meeting. Isn't the queues at the club shop for collection of match tickets the problem not the ticket office?
  5. Who says that the new appointment will meet him before we appoint them or will they let Pasha and Waggott select them or will we use a certain agency. Who knows but that's a question for the summer and after the next 7 games. Any new appointment needs to made before the end of May/first week of June. I know who I would be looking at shortlist wise if we picking a new manager without any restrictions or having to use a certain agency. If you want to keep moaning and criticise their way they work then so be it, you would have thought by now you would have accepted it and move on to other things. Cos you can't change it so why focus on it so much
  6. Watched the full Shane Warne memorial service at the MCG live and I was left heartbroken and very sadly by watching it. People's stories of him was enjoyable to hear but the speeches from his 3 children was heartbreaking to listen to and they were brave to stand up there and deliver them.
  7. David Lloyd has called for The Hundred to be scrapped ahead of its second season, claiming there is "no place for it" and that the T20 Blast is "the tournament to beat all tournaments". David Lloyd calls for The Hundred to be scrapped - "The ECB are throwing away money" (msn.com) Lloyd also leaves his Sky Sports role David Lloyd opens up on decision to quit Sky in bizarre "innuendo" rant (msn.com)
  8. Rovers should return to back 4 and start playing on the front foot, pressing high and win the ball back quickly Kaminski Nyambe Van Hecke Wharton Pickering Travis Rothwell Dolan Dack Giles Gallagher or Brereton Subs:- Pears, Brown, Johnson, Khadra, Buckley, Hedges, Brereton or Gallagher
  9. Reading the interview 3 times now, my thoughts is he is leaving in the summer maybe even if we get promote and Venkys don't seems in a rush to even have talks with him. I wonder if they have decide to change manager and they were rumours last season that Rovers wanted to change manager and some of Mowbray's comments seems to imply that he expect him to leave last summer and be sack. The rumours from different people on here where 4 managers was approach and none was interested in the job. I think Waggott wanted to change manager last seasons and even after the Fulham 7 nil home loss last season, Mowbray and Waggott held talks about him possible leaving until we beat Sheffield United in one of the best performances of the season so far. I think a change is needed with a new manager with fresh ideas, coaching methods and tactics for next season
  10. I'm not surprised that Rovers have done this as the world is looking to invest and use more technology for things like passes for social events on apps or QR code. I expect season tickets in the new couple of years will be done this way aswell through QR codes or through an App on your phone Investing in club facilities and keep pricing reasonable plus buying local facilities like 2 recent pubs that have sold in the past few years Rovers could have bought and you could have generate more money and revenue for Rovers on non match days Most people have mobile phones don't they? very sorry to hear this Pete and your kids losing interest in coming to Rovers
  11. Exactly Keeping the ground tidy, neat and doing the basic repairs. Also investing in the club facilities and keep pricing low would attract more fans more regular meaning more money for the club. That's why I suggested in a recent previous post Rovers should have bought a pub or 2 in the local area to generate more money even on non match days but They is lack of ideas and thoughts from our board and owners. any Saturday 3pm Kick off game in England can't be watch on TV
  12. The question was answered Bruce so you can stop trying to clarify questions now.
  13. thanks. The club need to be more affordable and get fans back interested and back to Ewood Park who aren't like me. They need new ideas with new incentives. Plus need to get people interested at such an early age
  14. cos all 3 of them know what changes need to county structure, How England should play, appointing 2 head coaches and the test captain appointment. Strauss had only worked in the media before he got the role and look at the improvement that happened. England have 5 key decisions to make before the New Zealand test and white ball series and the first one of them is who is Strauss going to appoint as The new Director of cricket. I'm sure plenty of people have applied and would have like Mike Hesson to have applied but he is not interested in the role. So out of the people that the media have reported applied for the job I would go for either Durham's director of cricket Marcus North or Ed Smith. I hope someone like Paul Farbrace has applied as I think he has good ideas and knows the international and county game. Whoever is appointed as Director of cricket need to appoint an new National selector, new test coach, new white ball coach and sort of the test captaincy future whether they back Root or moved to new captain.
  15. But Venkys cover their losses so that's why the club or the Venky's London Limited will never go in administration
  16. Dack should start against Coventry and if we are going to playoff place then Dack will key player in that.
  17. I didn't know about the music band was on. Didn't see any adverts but fair enough. Its was to work with Blues and give people different options. Blues bar is struggling cos of the cost of food and drinks and entry fee. People aren't going to keep paying high prices for poor quality food. How often is the blues bar open on non match days? Rovers could have bought and invest in the 3 pubs near the ground. Plus there is plenty of car parking facilities near the ground near the Empire theatre. They could have bought the Fox and Hounds pub, aqueduct in pub before it became a bike shop where you have served food like burgers, hot dog, chips, waffles, etc outside. They could have bought Fernhurst pub in years gone past. It would have increase revenue for the club on not match days and earn the club more money. If the club make the food and drink more affordable then it would more busier and popular.
  18. You keep trying to keep come up with different scenarios. I would give Mowbray a new contract if we get top 6 and playoff place as I said a few times, but if he decided to play Johnson again up front again from the start in any games he deserves the sack and need to go.
  19. Yes they were but given that Mowbray has been for 5 years now, its very likely I would have thought they have sign contract extension during that period
  20. Ministers and the Premier League will be presented with a preferred bid for Chelsea in three weeks time, paving the way for a change in ownership by the end of next month. https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/status/1508412163156754444?s=20&t=0d0bOo11o3C5gpPCjgzr8A
  21. https://twitter.com/Cricket_TS/status/1508375844325974019?s=20&t=4AC85j-NHyvUF0GoLL-kug A podcast with Mark Nicholas, Matt Prior, etc discussing the current problems within the England cricket team, captain future, and many more things very good listen and some good opinions in this podcast
  22. Mark Nicholas is latest name to be linked with England's director of cricket role Mark Nicholas emerges as latest shock contender to become England cricket chief (msn.com) Respectable Cricket Journalist Mike Walters view on England and what should happen in the future which in view should be Ben Stokes has Test cricket captain and Langer should be appoint head coach England must get ruthless - sack Joe Root, appoint Ben Stokes and bring in Justin Langer (msn.com)
  23. if you want to be that view point. Kaminski didn't need to mention him but he did. So that's tell a story in my opinion
  24. And what happens if we went to Luton and won 5 nil and then got the playoff final and won promotion? Bruce, I have been very clear my view and where and when I would offer a new contract to Mowbray. Whether Mowbray to stay on might be a different answer if Miller11 is right with his view
