  1. No its my opinion. Big fan of Rothwell and he has the talent to produce the goals and assists we want from him in the role he plays for us.
  2. But is it critical to the way Mowbray wants to the team to play going forward? Do you accept this? If you look at the possession you will find that The top 4 in the league finishing table was all in the top 5 teams in possession. The other team in that was QPR. Rovers came 7th in overall possession stats over the season. Here is the link to support my points above. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB2
  3. Amoruso was crap. Short was a good player for us but there is no reason why he couldn't play next to Ball playing centre back could he?
  4. Should be regular in the team this coming season. He has the talent to produce the goods and why it didn't happened for him last season I don't know. Mowbray said he has ttold him he can be as good as Benrahma in our team. Which Is right.
  5. Surely we must to our kit being made public now? Waiting for players to return to training?
  6. We would sign Ayala or Van Der Hoorn mostly down to wages probably but did the fit the Ball playing centre defender we want as we have Lenihan already. Also you never answer this question. When did I ever say Results become secondary importance to me? Please show me when I said this? It was MY POINT actually which I mention it tonight to yourself. Did you miss that comment?
  7. Bauer is a basic Championship defender. He's solid defender with heading ability but slow in terms of pace. But suits Neil way of football. But is Bauer going to be able to play a high line or ability to pass out of defence? no. Then does it suit the way Mowbray wants us to play now. Yes Brighton have spend 70 million pounds cos they want to change the style of play and thats why the investment was needed Exactly my point Tyrone. Allardyce evolved that team at Bolton like Hughes did here with players like Bentley, Benni McCarthy, Roque Santa Cruz, Bellamy.
  8. I give you examples like Hughes during his tenure here. Did you miss this? I don't need the media perception to tell me anyway as I watched loads of English football When did I ever say Results become secondary importance to me? Please show me when I said this? Or is this another one of false claims to a comment which was never posted. Potter is moving the club from Hughton's style to the passing style that Potter wants to play long term. Which is what the club owner Bloom and Sporting Director Ainsworth wanted to move the club towards. Who is McGregor? We need a partner for Travis as Evans fitness could be problem. Johnson shouldn't be a regular. Cullen would be ideal for me. Do you really think we will sign Van Der Hoorn or Ayala? You mention that playing out from the back isn't the priority for you maybe but looking at the comments from Mowbray that's the way he wants to play so you need to look at it from his point of view.
  9. Bauer is a basic championship defender. He suited the way Preston played under Alex Neil. But we didn't sign him. Just like Alex Neil wanting Adam Armstrong at the same time as we signed him Adarabioyo came here to play. Simple as
  10. It isn't looking down the nose towards Dyche at all. I just not a fan of watching his football and wouldn't want to watch it regular. Dyche hasn't evolved the team including a better way of playing like Hughes did here during his tenure or Allardyce did at Bolton. You mention Potter, but actually look at the job he has done by changing the style and formation. Thats resulted a new contract extension after only few months so must have impressed the owner Tony Bloom and Sporting Director Dan Ashworth. Well he is prospect and someone thats would fit the profile Mowbray has mention about re sale value and asset on the books. His name was mention on Rovers chat YouTube channel aswell. I don't know much foreign football to suggest . I would have mention Cunningham but I don't see coming back. What do you think of the other names I mention in Philips, Clarke, Dickie and Cullen? I never said we should sign Ben White tho. Look at the conversation that his name was bought up in. Tyrone asked me to a name a ball playing defender who done so I named Ben White. I mention Rob Dickie and Matt Clarke as 2 realistically players we could get
  11. I would bring a keeper( Dillon Philips), centre back(Matt Clarke on loan or Dickie), left back(Harry pickering) and centre midfielder(Josh Cullen). Yes I have named British based players cos I have very little knowledge of foriegn leagues/Europea Competitions as I dont watch them apart from a couple of la Liga games a week. Then we could keep the ball better, high press when needed but keep possession the ball more with would suit players like Rothwell, Holtby, Dack. Similar to Fulham or Brentford Yes Dickie is ball playing centre back. Bradley Johnson would be back up player. 4th or 5th. I have no idea how Mowbray will set us up formation wise for the coming season. Guess we see in pre season and early season games which We wont see live inside the stadiums.
  12. Ben White For playing possession football risk is involved but do I want us to play Dyche type football here? No I dont.
  13. And it doesn't mean your way is right either. Different managers have different ways of playing. You can have defender who can defend and pass a ball also. Well no Mowbray didn't dig himself into any hole with Adarabioyo as Mowbray stated the season beforehand he wanted to move this style of play. I've named you 2 players who could fit that role and I am sure there is plenty more out there.
  14. Couple of millions pounds probably. Supposedly we want Whiteman who is going cost the same. So spend it on Dickie instead
  15. The sell on clause would on been decided by the Tribunal.
  16. No its doesn't. What a complete and utter over reaction. We want a defender who can pass the ball out of defence. Someone like Matt Clarke from Brighton who was on loan last season at Derby. Or Rob Dickie from Oxford. That isn't the way Mowbray wants to play.
  17. Report in the local Doncaster paper saying the club has turned down several bids already for him. PSG linked with 15 million bid
  18. Different cases totally Stuart. Wigan and Bolton problems was caused by owners putting their club into administration. Whilst QPR, Birmingham, Sheffield United and Derby broke FFP Rules. Plus how many times have Macclesfield failed to players on time over the last 2 years?.
  19. You know that Mowbray wants a ball playing centre back next to Lenihan
  20. Do they fit into the role Mowbray want his centre back to play next to Lenihan? I would say no..
  21. The info was correct we had an interest in the player which I knew a week ago. I didn't need Nixon story. No one big anything up just more false ridiculous claims from you!
  22. yes he is moved to Belgium Club which has the same owner as his parent club. Nicko wasn't my source so I already knew the info and it was legit. We had interest in Iversen but I would expect we have interested in plenty of keepers depending on different list we will have I don't see how you can play 4-4-2 with our squad. If the fee is that amount its seems a no brainer in my opinion depending on his budget. Who are talking at Charlton end? Is their Director of football Steve Gallen or owners of the club cos the entire club just seems total chaos
  23. I think Smallwood will be good signing there. But you are correct they need much better strikers than those 2 players there Yes I agree I am surprised that Hull didn't change manager
  24. How was he talking shite with other journalists linked us to him. He never said he would deffo come here. He said we HAD interest in the players. He told a Rovers fan that we are working on 2 keepers and left back.
