  1. Welcome to the Rovers, Dion πŸ”΅βšͺ️ Judge on what I see in Rovers and not before. Not going judge on a journalist report. Good to get early signing done, hopefully a couple more signings done yet. We will see.
  2. Awful performance. Simply not good enough.from Tuchel and the players. Was expect Tuchel to be more ruthless in team selection and tactics. Not seen any of that. Walker, Henderson, Toney and Gallagher wouldn't be part of my squad. Lewis Hall must be England first choice left back when back fit. Look better when Gibbs-White was on. Lots for Tuchel to think about now till September
  3. Brittain has. Hopefully we start talks with Tronstad and Travis when they back for pre season. So you would offer Batth a 2 year contract at his age? How many clubs offer 34 years old a two contract who turns 35 in September? Think 1 year contract with an option of an extra year if he starts so many games seems more sensible?
  4. I think Brittain and Tronstad will sign new contracts. Travis will have offers but I this one is 50/50, if Sheffield United come in for him, I think he will go, if a Wrexham I don't see it happening. They will throw big money at ex PL players like Ings, Cresswell. Both who they been linked with. Hopefully Batth re-sign here. Still expect Nade will happen. Still need players will experience at this level but also need pace and athleticism in our team.
  5. Cos it doesn't back up your opinion hence why you dont like it. Ange promise a trophy and he delivered. Spurs fans will never that day but they won't remember finishing 17th for sure. They will always remember winning that trophies especially those fans at the stadium. I ain't changing my opinion at all. Why don't we leave it there. No one opinion is changing.
  6. But he promised a trophy and he delivered. Simple as. Not at all a different story. Wigan could have prioritise the league and staying up, they didn't but they won a trophy and that's day is always in Wigan fans memories. Just like our league cup win in 2002. They did win a trophy and with that champions league. They were the favourite for the competition and they delivered and win the competition Poor manager who delivered what he promised. A trophy. That's the true bottom line. Do you think any Spurs fan would swap winning a trophy in order to finish in the top 6? Football should be winning a trophies not finishing top 6. Do you think Spurs fan is that bother who they beat to win their first trophy in years
  7. He did own Leeds. Its when he appointed Dave Hockaday as head coach where it's lasted about 6 or 7 games
  8. https://x.com/SwissRamble/status/1931976515924775117?s=19 wages not far off the same over the last 5 years
  9. I would take winning a trophy and poor league campaign. Plus also got Champions league football cos of that trophy. How many Wigan fans would swapped their FA cup trophy for staying up in the Premier League? Bet not many. Plenty of Spurs fans wanted him to stay. Plenty of complementary videos on Ange bring a trophy to Spurs. Some fans want a change of course As I would expect. Q
  10. Royal mail service is shocking poor. We are lucky if we get mail once a week. Got letters last week from middle of May. Rovers fans would be willing to deliver some leaflets in their local area for free if the club has.
  11. Maybe his club play we at the back 3 last season hence the wing back role? Surely we have 2 players competing for the same position especially in wide areas. Ismael spoke about Pace in profiling players he want in his team next season. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25113324.blackburn-boss-lays-transfer-priority-summer-window/ We not in pace in wide areas since Olsson and Hoilett days then Duff before that. Can't beat a good quality wide player which the last was Conway who was great crosser of a ball. 100k bargain signing under Bowyer.
  12. Batth is out of contract. I don't see 3 at the back but has Elliott Jackson pointed out last night he could play left side midfielder like Ismael wanted to do with Owen Beck. Hopefully not, good solid player.
  13. eh? Not at all. Wouldn't surprise he we play him wide right or left tbh.
  14. another centre signing is needed given we only have Carter and Hyam fit for pre season, Batth hasn't re-sign yet and Wharton won't be ready for pre season. Where does Kargbo, Cantwell and Hedges fit into the team or what Gestede has said about wanted a right wide player?
  15. and yet he won them a trophy. πŸ† He promised to win a trophy and he did.
  16. England batted very well to win and chase that target. Its disappointing
  17. How can you have much of any opinion of the player when none of us have seen him play live or what his best attributes are or weaknesses. Or what position he will play here. I suspect this is one of few signings we will make from the French and Belgium market.
  18. Changes in the recruitment team have been happening for the last 3 years with 3 head of recruitment and other changes to the scouting and analysis staff. ignoring what? we all know the issues with the ownership but if we are chasing players and looking to sign them suggest the budget has been agreed? how do you know he isn't a wide man and shouldn't we wait until we see him play wide? you made similar comments on Karbgo also. what limited information do you have?
  19. Ange gave up on the league and his main focus was winning a trophy. He delivered. I stand by my original point that in my opinion, Spurs should have stick with Ange. You disagree with me. Spurs fans are split on the issue as are the football pundits I leave it there cos nothing is going to change our opinion
  20. firstly, I ain't be defensive one bit but trying to explained when transfer happened last summer and not a lot of signings are made in May/first week of June. So you don't know anything about this player then. We were slow last season cos you have complete overhaul of the recruitment and scouting team. Park, Gestede and Owen came in and we still signed some quality players.
  21. Didn't answer one single question, what a surprise. I would have stick by Ange and back him. Haven't I been more than crystal clear about them. Ange promised he delivered a trophy and he did. A day Spurs fans will never forget and Ange will go down as a hero in Spurs history more than Pochettino or Mourinho will
  22. So you know this player then? Does he have pace? We signed Brittain and Szmodics from relegation Championship teams and both been excellent signings
