  1. yes I suffered no problems when I've been to America different occasions. I agree with D.E that the worst food I experience was Buffet restaurants. I enjoyed the Breakfast food and Evening meal. Most of the time you only need 2 proper meals a day cos portion sizes. Breakfast food was like a Full English and a couple of pancakes with syrup. Evening meals I enjoyed was proper restaurant food. Buffet food not so much.
  2. Thought he shown a lot of potential at Wolves. But since then his career has stalled. Still other 28 years old so some good years ahead under the right manager. I remember him having some pace at that time
  3. Have you seen the system that the EFL was use to settle League 2 and League 1. Average points per game. In League 1 it would mean Peterborough would miss out on Playoffs and Wycombe would make the playoffs. But The EFL is leaving to clubs to decide by a voting that Majority wins so clubs cant complain. Some League 1 clubs have played different number of games so that has been factor in League 2 clubs have voted for this system. I think Rick Parry has shown some leadership through this entire process and honestly with clubs.
  4. You said owners attended awards dinners? But I shown these 3 dont. Do you think Mike Ashley did at Newcastle? No so that 4 owners. No comparing owners apart from yourself
  5. Is it what Spurs's owner Joe Lewis or Man City owner who had only 1 game in 12 years or Man Utd Owners the Glazers? These PL owners who dont. No Sparks its is yourself who is being argumentative and annoying cos you wont allow a different view or Opinion on anything I'm not bothered in our owners attending games or awards dinners. They keep funding the club and academy every year.
  6. Did you read the piece Vinjay posted? I dont think they lack interest as Balaji's son was at the club this year. Plus paying millions of pounds each year to fund the club. Plus we have heard about the owners interest from Mowbray and Waggott about Rovers. Am I bothered if we do or dont hear from them? Not interested. I do think Q&A would be good but never going to happen
  7. God knows. I not going to look through 92 clubs owners to see last time they spoke. The last time we heard from them is when we got promoted from league one. Just a statement. You reckon that right? Sadly it's not what I said but you posts these sort of things to get reaction.
  8. depends on the owners of different clubs. Some talk more than others. Venkys have been burned badly from the agents thing. Not sure they will make many public statement in the future. I always said about having a Q and A once a year with them. But it will never happened. They let Waggott and Mowbray communicate with the supporters.
  9. Sorry Matty, Yes you are right. Most owners are silent most of the time. I didn't know that Barnsley owners owned another club and looking to buy 2 more clubs including 1 in Scotland till yesterday
  10. Most owners have been silent during this pandemic.
  11. Go where? Rovers have some very good players coming through. Burns, Brennan, Whitehall, Pike, Gent.. Supposedly we have offered Dan Pike a new contract. We want to sign Wright-Phillips permanently. We are producing players from under 18's
  12. Well that's opinion. I will be exactly the same for me..maybe yourself
  13. No the academy isnt waste of time at all. Plenty of good young players coming through. Do you watch the under 23's or 18's?
  14. I have said before that I've seen behind closed doors closed games before. Of course Supporters play a huge part inside a football ground when you are there. But this is a new normal for the next few months. This is unprecedented times in our lifetime Trust me, I will feel the same when Rovers win. Nothing could change that. We havent much from UEFA on anything. This is where owners and their finances come in possible. Could the EFL afford it? Doubtful. Every Championship clubs can afford it I would guess. Below the Championship I dont know. How often would testing be need in September tiime. Tbh, we have to get through this season 1st before thinking of next season.
  15. Rovers under 18's player Luke Brennan linked with Liverpool. source is football365. I would be disappoint if we lost him as I think he is going to be very talent player for us in the future
  16. on Sky there is a channel just for La Liga which is 5.99 pounds per month. Via Premier Sports. 24 hours of La Liga coverage
  17. The vast Majority of games will be shown by Sky Sports or BT. But they are talks about some games being on YouTube or BBC or Sky Freeview channel.
  18. No I don't turns a blind eye to other views but Football is coming back and Its positive news about only 2 positive tests in the entire Championship players and staff I'm not interest in the atmosphere when I watch it on TV. Well hopefully we will be back in stadium by January with this vaccine and hopefully it works. The UK Government has ordered 100 million doses of it. UEFA wont allow it's Euro's and Champions league/Europa League to be affected.
  19. From what I have read all Premier League games including 3pm kick offs will be TV or YouTube. Championship games will be on Sky Sports or Ifollow
  20. I fully appreciate how difference you might feel But I will be different. Football is a TV sport with at least 4 Premier League games per week and 2 Championship games per weekend. Yes fans will be able to attend till Xmas but its only 6 months to wait. aint long before we can get back to watching football inside stadiums I was going to going to get BT Sport last week but I aint willing to pay 25 pounds per pounds per month. I watched the highlights on YouTube later. When Spanish Football is back on the La Liga I will be watching it as much as possible. I know a few Liverpool fans who I worked with in the past and I know they will be celebrating and drinking when they will win the title. Good luck to them. Who knows what will happen. If we get to the playoffs or playoffs final I will have the same passion I would as I would inside Ewood Park or Wembley. There is talk that a few games will be on BBC or Sky freeview channels or YouTube.
  21. why shouldn't Rovers come out and tell fans that they have no positive tests? Hull City?
  22. All Rovers players and Staff tested negative. Great to hear.
