  1. No cos they going back to work as they as they cannot work from home. Plus only going back in small groups of 5 and no facilities inside the training centre will open. Players turn up in their cars and get on straight on training pitches in groups of 5 players How many times do you need to be told they are private tests that the PL teams and other teams are using? Nothing to do with the NHS tests. Novacty is supplying the NHS and tests centres with Covid-19 test kits. https://www.bing.com/search?q=is+Novacyt+supplying+the+UK+with+covid+19+test+&form=EDNTHT&mkt=en-gb&httpsmsn=1&msnews=1&plvar=0&refig=8e8889dfd2b64ef78551637149fb8de7&PC=HCTS&sp=-1&pq=is+novacyt+supplying+the+uk+with+covid+19+test+&sc=0-47&qs=n&sk=&cvid=8e8889dfd2b64ef78551637149fb8de7 The PL is using PSC for the Tests for players and staff. So its different companies https://www.google.com/amp/s/inews.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/rio-ferdinand-coronavirus-tests-testing-premier-league-project-restart-man-utd-2856737%3Famp Paul, you keep banging on about the same old thing. Believe what you want Paul. I'm not bothered tbh They have their report and Most players and managers have got back with a few players who haven't due to their personal stances and reasons
  2. Finally! The report was presented by the Premier League to the team captain of each club and PFA. Well if you object to the report good for you Paul. But the report is there. Teams and managers have accept the report and protocols in place otherwise they wouldn't have return to training. Hopefully Rovers will be back on Monday Football is coming back in this country and will be TV until Christmas. At least it's back in some capacity and fans will have back some sport. You probably wont watch anyway.
  3. Well firstly Paul, it isnt my report is it? Football is coming back. It will be TV sport until We can resume attending games. But like most sports I watch anyway like test cricket, NBA, golf or F1 or other football games. You may not watch any of them but alot of fans do. You say my link doesn't contain any reference to 88 seconds? Suggest you take a proper look but here is 88 seconds reference in the link
  4. while Tom, if you look at the report it says average 88 seconds per game. Every player is different of course that's why its an Average.
  5. 2 people charged with Ava Hechem's murder https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8348795/Two-men-charged-drive-shooting-murder-model-law-student-Aya-Hachem-19.html?ito=push-notification&ci=16058&si=6293625
  6. Well actually Stuart if you research it you will find they were similar articles in The Telegraph and The Guardian but their articles need subscription so why I dont from them.
  7. @Stuart have a look at this. Top-level players are within an infectious distance of each other for an average of only 88 seconds during a match. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8313191/Players-told-turn-faces-away-tackled-Project-Restart-briefing.html
  8. Well Matty, maybe read the proposals and work out with they coming up with a back up plan if case we get a second peak of this virus and face another second lockdown. People would criticise them for not coming with well thought out proposals and a Plan B or Plan C. Championship clubs want to Continue with the season and always have. Yes you will get Hull City but I don't see many voting to end the season. League 2 have made their decisions due to the lack of funding for testing and Out of contract players. League 1 clubs? Some clubs want to restart the league and some don't like Accrington Stanley who don't. Their owner doesn't want to restart the season
  9. Well no Matty it doesn't look like that at all BUT if we get another Coronavirus spike in the near future and to go into another lockdown, so the EFL bosses want a plan going forward if they have to stop the season. Very sensible and good to see some forward planning at least. Clubs like WBA want to finish the season and vast majority of Championship clubs will want too as they have said previously. Sport could be a non spectator attending for year maybe long depending on what happens with these treatment and Vaccines in the future. I was meant to attending England cricket game and The British Open this summer. Was looking forward to it. I can understand about feeling Morally uncomfortable.
  10. What happen if supporters cant return to watching sport at the Studium or course for over a few years? What happens then?
  11. Yes clubs at the lower end of PL rely on the TV money for wages. Villa's wage bill is huge. Where has Norwich have been sensible in terms of fees paid and wages. So should cope. Yes you are right about serious injuries been half physical and half mental as I know from my own experiences Who knows what Venkys will do? How badly money have they been during this? Yes we can investing Youngsters but under Mowbray we have been doing this.. Is Hilton or Fisher ready to be Championship number 1? I would say no Is Hayden Carter or Scott Wharton ready to replace Adarabioyo? No chance. Play Rankin Costello more? Yes I would. Is Butterworth ready? Unsure. From Under 18's Whitehall, Pike, Burns, Gent and Brennan all look good prospects for the future. All they ready for Championship football? no
  12. And other leagues are getting training and players like German, Italian, Austrian and Spanish clubs are. Football has always been money tho. Football clubs and all sports teams/clubs are businesses at the end of the day. They need money to survive
  13. We have to get back to way of some sort of new Normal way of life. It was unprecedent and unexpected situation but you just have to get on with the rest of the season that the best way they can. But we need to finish this season 1st. Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria are all finishing their current season, So why shouldn't we. I don't think restarting the season will lose any of it Integrity at all. Its you who think it will not me. If you know that Promotion and relegation will happen why keep going on and on about when you know it is happening?
  14. Well yes it does satisfies me. The rules was agree in 1991 when the Premier League was form. Relegation and promotion will happen every season. This fella Clarke is the FA Chairman and he isn't letting the PL clubs off by having no relegation. The rules are the rules. It is yourself who wants the season voiding and have no relegation. You keep banging about this. Its you who wont face the reality that Regelation and Promotion is happening this season one way or the other. Not going over this testing thing again I wonder why Hull don't want to finish the season? Cos the squad is awful and they were in free fall before it was stop. Grant McCann has been talking in their local media about how their squad couldn't recover from losing their 2 key players and that's why for their freefall. Now says they have all injured players are back. League 2 clubs have decide to end the season. Its was Majority of clubs voting for that. That's their clubs and league choice. Is it ideal? No, but none of this is ideal from start to finish of this virus. Look at Port Vale who was 8th in the league 2 and 1 point off playoffs but they voted to end the season now. League 1 clubs have a decision to make. I don't know how that vote will go. Deeney has to make his own decision for his family. Like Klopp and Peterborough Chairman have said that no player will be force to return if they have health conditions, Family with health conditions. Are we bring in the 5 subs rules? Teams have to make the best of a not an ideal situation but the players and clubs can play football again and get back to their day job. That's life. No one has asked this coronavirus to happen. Just have to got on with the current situation. Clubs have voted to restart training in the PL. Most clubs are going back training this week. The Government have said that the want PL Clubs to share more of the TV with lower clubs. EFL Rick Parry said this at a Government select committee also I think
  15. If the season does finish End of July/Mid August then the New Season will probably start Mid October as I guess I would imagine. But lets finish this season 1st. Money short? These PL football clubs are owned by Billionaires and the 3 teams from Championship who get promotion will have a shed loads of cash to spend. Plus the 3 clubs that come down. Rovers are owners who are wealthy so it will be interest what they do. Plus will FFP be scrap?
  16. well I did the post Clarke has told the PL Clubs that relegation will happen this season. I don't know what was said in the meeting directly but PL Chairman and FA Chairman told the press that relegation will happen. You are never going to get directly quotes from that sort of meeting. High risk? PL players and staff are tested twice a week. They was 6 players and staff who tested positive. 3 were club staff and 1 player that we know about so far. 2 unknown. League 2 clubs voted to finish the season now and just have 3 playoffs games between 4th and 7th. Yes League clubs from that league voted for that. League 1 clubs are having a meeting to decide how to finish the season this week/early next week including a vote. They need to decide and have 75% of clubs vote for how to finish the season. I wonder if you seen Peterborough's chairman interview on the football show on Sky Sports last week. Of course the integrity of the game can be maintain cos Clubs are voting for this. The FA doesn't have a say on EFL promotions and relegations. But the reason why the FA have a say on promotion from Championship to PL and Relegation from PL to championship is "agreement made when the Premier League was sanctioned ahead of its start in 1992, and that includes veto power over promotion and relegation." If Games are played in the 20 Premier League stadiums then why cant VAR happen? That's why the Government want the PL and FA want to happen.
  17. We don't know the full story on Dack fitness. But Given the transfer window is likely 3 or 4 months away You have no idea on his fitness but He has been working hard he keeps posting on Instagram. No you cant going around spending money for big money but if you are an owner of a club and have the money to invest in the club then this would be good time to get promotion. Almost buy the promotion I would expect Bell will get a extension but after that who knows. But we need finish this season 1st and see where we before thinking after summer recruitment.
  18. That's why the Government want the FA and PL to share more their money with lower league football clubs Yes the government has said no fans at any sporting events until there is vaccine or treatment in place. Yes small businesses can open its a restaurant or café or takeaway like Indian but takeaway only. Sensible until they can sort out the social distances within those shops. Yes Summer Holidays are cancelled and rightly so. Would you want to go to Spain for a week holiday right now for example? I have to cancel 2 holidays this summer. how can you have atmosphere when fans aren't allow in stadium or sporting event? Cos The FA Chairman has told the PL and EFL why it has happen. Why cant VAR been used. The on field ref can use a TV Monitor at the side of the pitch. That's why the Government want the PL and FA to share more of the TV Money down the football league chain and give more I did mention this yesterday on the forum to Stuart I would be surprise if Championship clubs bought one in. I wouldn't penalise clubs owners who want to invest in clubs and aren't taking money out of the business/cub.
  19. I would expect the summer Transfer window to be August to End of September. I would some PL clubs to spend money. Whether they will look to the British market and Championship market for signings. I wouldn't be surprise if Dack move on this summer. I would be looking to keep Lenihan(who I make Captain), Travis and Armstrong at all cost. But getting the end of this season sorting is the main priority
  20. 0.8% of test conducted tested positive.. Burnley assistant manager Ian Woan test positive but was asymptomatic and need self isolated at home.
  21. don't like their broadband when we had them before. Was poor service. never had a problem with Sky Broadband or Tv. My Sky Sports package is only 34 pounds per month. More sense for me Sky Sports cos they have my 5 sports I want to watch(Football, cricket, NBA, Golf, F1)
  22. How many people actually BT? I don't and look into buying it but aint paying 25 pounds a month. In other news, 748 players and staff in the PL for the coronavirus and only 6 players test positive and now self isolated now for 7 days
