  1. I am very happy we are 6th in the league currently. Bournemouth now top of the league now. Parker doing the business there Some surprising results, Reading beating Fulham, Blackpool beating Boro, Preston drawing with WBA. Well done to Interim head coach Steven Reid winning today with Forest. Can't wait to see Nathan Jones's face today after Luton loss their 3 nil lead Well done to Rooney and Derby players beating Stoke today. After they found out the club were being put into administration news on SSN last night
  2. Mowbray has had a budget to spend each season and including this one. Yes the wage bill has been cut and We sold our star striker but that has to been done for a few seasons including FFP rules to meet, bring through younger players and rebuild the squad. There is always a chance of promotion Gav, if you don't want to believe fine but I see a team that is together and strong team spirit. Yes we might lack a quality striker but we can sign one in January. Now I not saying we will make top 6 but I not writing off our chances yet Gav. The Rovers fans were excellent today. We created a great atmosphere there, Their fans were very quiet Clarkson push up when we want to close down there but then drop into the 10 role. I'm not convince what Clarkson's role within the team should be at the minute. I would have left Dolan on with his pace or bring on Butterworth instead of Clarkson.
  3. He played ahead of Travis and Rothwell/Edun in a 10 role.
  4. Pleased with the clean sheet and back to back ones. Both teams lacked quality in the final third overall but both teams had chances to win the game. Brereton should have scored with his one on one with keeper. Khadra and Clarkson with chances late on. Have to say thought our back 4 and keeper look solid overall in the game. Lenihan and Ayala looked very solid. Pickering good game. Didn't understand bringing Edun and Clarkson instead of Butterworth today. Wouldn't have took Dolan off today. Thought we look pace in the team then. But it's a point and clean sheet away from home. 6th in the league after 8 games we would have taken at the start of the season. The Rovers fans were fantastic and never stop signing. Plenty of chants of Mowbray's blue and white army during the game. Final note, it's great to be back watching live football inside a stadium setting apart from waiting on car park to leave. Come on you Blues! 🔵⚪
  5. Nil nil half time. One brilliant save by Kaminski. A couple of other routine saves. Rovers haven't created very little so far. Poveda look slow on the right. One good opening but Brereton's final ball was behind Dolan As the players went down the tunnel Mowbray was talking to Dolan
  6. Brilliant save by Kaminski Rovers playing 4-4-2 with Buckley left mid, Dolan up front with Brereton and Poveda right mid
  7. Come on Rovers!!! 🔵⚪
  8. You have to judge the job over a few seasons. Plus down to the budget he has. Did he recommend Edun for us to sign? Maja who didn't sign for us but set to
  9. I guess its a wait and see situation with Mowbray and his future. If he does well this season get us top 10 finish, they might offer him a new contract but if the next few months we might see change of manager cos of results. Who knows. Its will be Balaji decision on Mowbray's future and what will happen. Who to say any new owners will be better and we be better off? Also how do you united the fanbase and get fans back interested in Rovers and the team? Well I feel sorry for the people affected by this news like the fans who support the club and the potential job losses to staff employed by the club. Morris chased a dream and its backfire badly.
  10. He was playing in the first team game against Rangers Park's job is to scout and analysis players we want to sign before Waggott and Venus do the negotiations for the players. He was there to watch him live probably after probably one of the other recruitment team recommend him to Park.
  11. Lewandowski coming to sign here was Pre Venkys Jim I am going cos I want watch Rovers playing Blackpool, local derby and met up with a few Blackpool friends from Work for few drinks. Plus I guess the good form currently is another factor. I guess the recruitment side how they scout, analysis and recruit players from overseas that impress me more where has we only used our Scouting network to sign 2 players. So why were Rovers under Mowbray so reluctant to bring in more Players from Europe? Well firstly I would want to know are they Blackburn Rovers fans? I heard they were Manchester United fans Plus any they even interested in buying the club? and how are they going to buy the club and whats their plans? Also do Venkys want to sale? I don't see it myself. why are you pushing them so far?
  12. Looking very forward to the game now and will be setting off shortly to Oakwell, Barnsley. Hopefully we will bring back the 3 points from there and good performance. COYB! I don't agree understand myself tbh. Same with Dolan. I see Buckley becoming one of the first names on the team sheet by end of the season and he will key player for us in the future. I hope he plays today in midfield 3 and not a wide or number 10 role.
  13. Is the fault of Macron and their supply chain? maybe they should open a couple of factory in the Europe and start making them here and not China?
  14. Why shouldn't the club be exciting by the prospect of Ashley Philips? If the club and Philips have agree a contract and thats will be legal bound. Loans are signings. simple as well Dack agreed a new contract in the past year which you miss out. I would say signing up players like Buckley, JRC, Wharton, Carter is important for the future and keeping them here is what I want to see. I think Rothwell hasn't sign a new contract possible one of the reason could be over his playing position, and he wants to play centre midfield for an example
  15. good to get a point from that game and our players never say die attitude came through again.
  16. John Park was the main driving force with Khadra signing Tony Mowbray reveals Blackburn Rovers' Reda Khadra pursuit | Lancashire Telegraph
  17. Or maybe he is going to be top prospect for the future and club are very exciting to have such a good player as prospect. Have you seen him play yet? lack of signings? didn't we make signings apart from a main striker in the summer window? We have offered these players new terms so lets see what happens in the future
  18. Rovers under 23's are playing Spurs tonight at Leyland,. Free entry also seen this and thought some people on here would be interested in this
  19. I guess they are seeing how he does before letting him go or renewing his contract. I don't think they should renew his contract at the end of the season. unless we do the unthinkable and get promote. but I do see a different manager this season with this young team than previous years/season. I don't hate or have any angry towards him as person or manager but I do think he should have been replace last season/summer. Plus keeping who is available manager wise.
