Maybe he shown his interested and performed well in the under 23's then maybe he would have played more 1st games here. He has only 12 games in the Championship whilst 58 games in league 1 aged 23. Time to let him go and find a better player

Chapman has only 12 championship games and how many of those are starts tho? He has played 58 games in league 1 tho and in his total career he has played 89 games overall. I have not included under 23's games or Uefa Youth league games

Question is why hasn't he played more? Injuries is a factor, I watched him for under 23's a number of times in 19/20 season and he didn't look interested and his performance was poor. Chapman is 23 now and he hasn't been picked regular for the first team squad in two and half years of being here. I really think its time we move on and bring in other people to fill the wide roles in 4-3-3 formation. My suggestion is based on @JoeHopinion and I see thats Joe H has given a description of the type of players he is, number of games he started and his stats. @LeftWingerhas mentioned his starting stats. I also suggested Hollett and Reach. After Joe H post on twitter about the Right sided attacker in the front 3 being left footed and the impact that Elliott had from there. It was interested post and good debate to have. I would suggested someone like Patrick Roberts from Man City and someone who we could buy.

Not sure I would have appoint any of them after Mowbray. None would been have approach in I owed the club. I would target Mark Hughes, Chris Wilder(who I dont think would come), Gareth Ainsworth or Alex Neil. Other than that I would go down a Sporting Director/Head Coach route.

I read everything. Its Mowbray who wouldnt buy a centre half. We had the money in the first season or second season when we promoted whether its Konsa who was Charlton at the time or Egan at Brentford or Cooper at Millwall. Instead when for Rodwell. But I cant think of many hard as nails centre backs in the Championship anyway

Our squad isn't suited to playing a simple 4-4-2. in our first season back in the championship we suited it more than now If you look at the teams who have promoted this season or make the playoff final they have mainly played 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 or 3-4-3. Brentford and Swansea have switch formations between 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 formation. Steve Cooper ditched his 3 at the back system which he has used for most of the season and move back to 4-3-3 formation he used at the start of the previous season.

infant schools is very different to professional football tho. How many Championship teams play 4-4-2 and looking at the formation of teams that get promoted from this league very few play 4-4-2 these days. Not sure our current players are suited to simple 4-4-2 formation and more suited 4-2-3-1 formation or 4-3-3. If we still had a Danny Graham who could play a target man role with Dack or Armstrong as a partner with Harrison Reed and Lewis Travis in centre midfield then I would be more inclined to play a simple 4-4-2. But this come back to our recruitment since getting promoted from league that Mowbray transfer signings and not seemingly have proper plan to fit signings into the formation he wanted to play.

Suggested by Andy Watson in his recruitment document he has produced. Centre midfielder - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester. 1.5 million Winger- Junior Hoilett. on a free and can play. Reach from Sheffield United. Possible Kirk from Crewe who Joe Harvey is a fan off. Don't think Curtis is a worthwhile signing for me. Possible a striker - Maybe Delap from City or Parrott from Spurs on loan. tho I not against using McBride instead of bringing one of those above in I would pay for Dewsbury-Hall transfer by selling Joe Rothwell for a similar price. If we lost Adam Armstrong then I would move for Cauley Woodrow who I think we could get for 5 million pounds. Other people seems to think Yates is a good bet to replace Armstrong. I don't see Rothwell and Chapman being here next season. Chapman's contract isn't going to be extend and Rothwell will be sold whilst we can get some money for him. I don't see us playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formations any more complicated than 4-4-2 which most of this squad haven't played in before under Mowbray. I would say if Armstrong is staying then we need transfer wise a back up left back, Centre back, 2 centre midfielders, 1 winger and possible a striker.

Yes I will getting one as long as we are allow inside stadium to watch my team. I dont want to watch entire season on a stream. Not used to following my club that way. My step-daughter is looking forward to watching them. Other friends are renewing. We just want to get back some normality of life after being on lockdown measures and restrictions for over 15 months now.
