I feel we need a more attacking full back in we are going to move an attacking passing style. Nyambe hasn't improved in the attacking sider over the last 12 months. I feel its important if the full backs are going to provide the width going forward. You have to take into account thats he only 12 months left on his contract so if he isn't going to sign a new contract then we have to look to sell and get the price we can. Can we really afford another Josh King or Ben Marshall or Junior Hoilett situation again? The main priorities for me is a keeper who can command his box, communication and very shot stopper, Centre back to play next to Lenihan(and possible 2 depending on Williams and Wharton future at the club), a left back. So 4 or 5 on the list as we need at least back up right back at least.

Season Tickets 2020-21
chaddyrovers replied to Scotland1's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I can totally understand why you say that as some of the group I go with are saying the same points you have. I agree with that price offer that Rovers should offer but any existing season ticket holder(last season) should be offered a free home shirt and discount on the season ticket price of 10% Yes Some people will renew/pay for season ticket for a potential next season ST but we need to know what we are paying if terms of seating arrangements with seating with family or friends or where you will be seating as some people will want the same seat they have had for years, facilities open like catering, club shop, toilets and Kids facilities. if we aren't allowed in ground until after Christmas what will the club do to allow fans to watch games. We need to know the plan for the entire season for different scenarios going forward Plus with the local area in restrictions in terms of socialising and going outside the area with the increase Covid-19 cases is it really worth putting them online. How could a group of people who go together in 1 car go to the games if they don't live in same households? Also how will Stadiums be made Covid-19 safe? Until we know how this will be done? is it feasible to offer Season tickets at this stage I know other teams have offer season tickets to fans but some clubs have put them on hold. Clubs where they have sold 70 or 80% of stadium capacity how are they decide who go in and doesn't if they only allowed 33% of the stadium full? -
Season Tickets 2020-21

Rovers Stance on season tickets for 2020/2021 season. They waiting until they know what the regulations will be in terms of the amount of fans allowed in the stadium http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1041350291?-11198:839:latest_news -
Like I said to you few days/couple of weeks ago I wouldn't play with wide players but more inside with my full backs providing the width. One reason with I would like to see a right back with more attacking attributes come in. Did you forget this conversation? If we are bringing in any wingers then Mowbray is going to adapt the way he has played during his tenure at the club I have no idea what Mowbray will do this window. fair enough. We wanted Jordan Jones 1st I seen to remember. He would be good loan signing but wouldn't have got his PL winner medal tho

Wigan Administration

don't think pandemic was the proper reason -
Thanks for the squad First I have no idea on Whiteman rumour you need to asked the source of the info which was @Sparks Rover . Thought-out Mowbray time at the club hasn't played with natural wingers at the club apart from Conway during his time here as I have repeating said to yourself several times. If he is looking to buy or loan one a winger then its looks like a change of Strategy I would play a 4-2-3-1 formation New keeper Nyambe(or better attacking full back) Lenihan New CB New LB Travis Evans/Buckley Brereton/Holtby Dack Rothwell Armstrong Didn't we look to sign Jordan Jones from Liverpool who isn't a winger?

I don't think the pandemic had anything to do myself but a very good cover story for the real truth -
Thanks for the reply Me and you drunk would be better than Leutwiler Mercer
-
maybe thats why he is looking Ben Whiteman to play the passing midfielder and a reason why Downing played so much in centre midfield last season. I don't think Holtby can play that role for me. Much better playing the number 10 role or inside right role. So if you wanting to play that counter attacking football style what would your formation and starting 11 be please Ewood Ace? Just want to hear your thoughts on it and genuine interested in them
-
He is going Pl club on loan or staying at Liverpool. Was never coming here. @roversfan99, mention Parrott from Spurs going to Millwall on loan next summer. Reject loan moves to Celtic and Swansea from reports
-
Thanks. is he winger or similar type of player to Rothwell who comes move inside. lazy Link? Boro and Stoke will probably need a wide man this summer. Well we don't need wingers if we are going to play a system thats requires them. The main focus is signing a Keeper, Centre back and Left back this season Well its doesn't suit of best players best like Armstrong or Holtby or Dack does it. Graham has now gone. Look at the amount of goals Armstrong has scored since Christmas. He is our key player going forward now. He needs to playing in that 9 role going forward. We have change over the season in passing stats and the reduce in the number of long balls. We need to change away from the long ball to suit players like Rothwell, Armstrong, Holtby going forward. On Vale Ive seen him a few times. direct running, like to take players on. Has some skills but I want to him more of him.
-
We are moving away from that style of football. Why not bring through Jack Vale as part of the striker department going forward along with Armstrong, Brereton and Gallagher?
-
what are people opinions on Jordan Jones? Stoke and Boro interested aswell
-
Nothing wrong with looking at Vale, Butterworth, Carter and Maglorie in pre season. We need another centre back or 2(if Williams leaves) in even if Wharton will be part of the 1st team squad next season. I would be keeping Vale here next season as part of the striker unit. Mowbray needs to focus on bring in 3 first choice players in the keeper, Centre back and centre midfield areas before September.

Depends what is more important to the player, playing regular football or collecting a wage. His house is lovely there. Its a good area and close to Lytham
-
he was never going play in the last year here. Mulgrew is very settled where he lives but he won't play again here. No I look at point of view that I would want to be playing football and not just sit there not playing and just training it was me in that position. Money is important but so is being happy and playing regular football

linked with Sunderland now

Wigan Administration
chaddyrovers replied to EgyptianPete's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
But have an owner who has financial back the club. Not Barnsley fault that Wigan had an owner who put the club into administration is it? whether its the club is to blame or not, the rules are clear. -
@Mercer what do you know of him? He looks ok from the online coverage you can find online but without seeing him live hard to judge and Smallwood wasted a year of career by sitting on his ass. Strange actions. Now linked with Sunderland. Yes Mulgrew is unwanted and he knows aswell. I suspect Rovers will pay him off just to get him out of the club.

Will he can't nowt now. cos the club is in administration. I meant why buy a club then 4 weeks later he put them into administration? Very strange actions of a businessman If the EFL drop the 12 points then Barnsley will take them to court surely? -
