Didnt want Douglas in the 1st place. Always wanted Manning here. Mowbray made a massive mistake there. Never materialised cos Williams never moved on and Wharton was good enough to part of the centre back options

I haven't changed my view on Mowbray. I would give him the season and review in the summer. Nothing has changed my view so far. I wouldnt want to play the way Stoke are. I want us to play an attractive positive possession based way. I wanted us to created chances after chances. You wanted to play how Stoke do then fair enough. I dont. It isnt snobbiness but how I want my team to play.

Disappointed to get nothing from the game. We didnt created many clear chances but lacked ideas in the final third. 1 shot on target. Scored then looked to defend for the rest of the game. Never looked to push on for second. Very similar to how O'Neill managed at Northern Ireland. Credit to him. I am disappointed by our lack of creativity in final third and its costing despite our possession stats.

What serious work can be done in a one training session and given our injury list we are just doing light training sessions at the minute. Players are carry knocks and injuries and trying to play through them. Championship games quality has dropped and intensity of games has dropped off.

Hes played in 17 games out of 19 league games. Missing 1 due to suspension and 1 for injury Last season Lenihan played in 37 games out of 46 league. Missing 6 games due to injury, 2 games due to suspension and 1 game for the birth of his child

Cheston said at the fans forum that he expect little activity in the transfer window. We have strong squad and some key players coming back from injury. Maybe a loan centre back might be available to come in but judging from Cheston's comments that's doesnt look likely

Rankin Costello will fill in at Right back when hes back. Lenihan has missed 7 games in the last 18 months due to Injury. Hardly injury prone is it? Left back should have been sorted by signing Ryan Manning permanent not loaning Douglas.

Cheston has already said finance arent there. I will be surprise if we make one signing.

Still nothing of the level I havent this season in games in terms of pattern of play, movement of front 3 and tempo. We won. Delighted with 3 points. Performance not of the standard we wanted We missed Brereton on the left of his movement and pace in the games he missed
