Football League Suspended

League 1 clubs have a choice either vote to continue the season or end the season and do a Points Per Game system to see who is in the Playoffs. That's why on offer from EFL. How can the legal challenge it when its the 23 League 1 clubs who have decide on the proposal by EFL and do it a Democracy way by a Vote? I don't agree with your proposal. -

Cos Teams like Coventry deserve to go up after a brilliant season and playing some good attacking football/. Surely its discriminate against them to not allow them promotion. That's why the EFL have given their League 1 clubs a vote to decide. Carry on the season or end the season on Points Per Game system with Playoffs. TH=he EFL are trying to fair to the clubs by allowing them to decide and not make the decision for them. Cant be challenge legal either We don't know what going on with next season or the transfer window yet. Would expect a start date of early to middle of October With the EFL trophy and League cup going. Possible the FA cup aswell to ensure that all the league season will be completed. What about European club football competitions and Euro 2021? what going to happen with them. Agree on the last point -

@roversfan99, The clubs in League 1 have a voted and from what I have read and listen to they will vote end the season and have playoffs and relegations based on Points Per Game. The EFL have allowed clubs to decide the future of the league. Its a simple vote and the a majority wins. Its allows Clubs to decide. Its the fairest way. Not ideal but EFL have played a blinder here by allow league 1 clubs to decide. Also stop legal challenges. Yes you care right they will be losers and winners. But they could restart the season and finish the season but some clubs don't want to like Stanley. You aren't going to pleased every club in unique situation. -

No Stuart Null and void was the worst case idea. Look at 3 French clubs complaining about the France season being cancelled so soon. The teams that finished in the top 2 after 46 games deserve to go up that's why completing the season is right. Why September? Isnt a safety first approach happening right now with the private testing which has results in only 2 positive test in Premier League and 2 Positive test in Championship. -
Garners it wasn't a dig at all. I was going to book for California and New York next year so I could watch my 1st LA Lakers game live and go to various places in LA and New York. Could I DM to find out your experiences of California please? You are right about the Buffet restaurants. Not a fan of Northcote food.

The rules between premiership and Championship are they to protect clubs in football league clubs from the Premier clubs stopping them going up. So if we null and void the season as you have suggest you want then those clubs in the bottom 3 clubs in the Premier League can get loads of cash for another season whilst stopping clubs who should go in from the Football league don't get any cash. Imagine what that cash windfall will do to club like Brentford or Rovers. Massively income for the club plus more sponsorship and revenue from it. Football club is a business in one sense. Its their league at the end of the day and given clubs a vote in how to complete the season is democracy and saying its your decision to make. The EFL will work with them to implement what their decision they made. Well what other way cos you decide the season if you don't use Points Per Game system? Look at Coventry situation who were going to win the league if we didn't have this Coronavirus. Is it fair that they don't go up? Is it fair to a club like Stanley to tell them to unfurlough their players and get them to sign new contract for a extra month costly Andy Holt money who is the chairman there so you can complete whilst he doesn't want to? Or look at Wycombe who has spent the longest in the top 2 all season and have still have 10 games to play where has other clubs have only 8 games to play but are outside the playoffs currently? SO how would you sort such a situation out in League 1? Imagine what an increase in Money received from EFL and Sponsorship would do for Wycombe or Coventry as club? is it fair on those clubs to miss on a substantial windfall that would improve the club and could be used to improve the football club? This is very unique situation for the football world but they can find a way past these problems. -
Cant stand American Mustard or its cheese. Jambalaya is fantastic. Quality. and BBQ rub Ribs or Steak But cant be Indian curry or its spices. Love a Rogan Josh. But back to the debate about a trade deal regarding food it will be down to the food agency plus food companies and supermarkets to ensure that the meat is good enough standard for the UK People.

January transfer window 2020

You always say that rumours anyway. I have mention this alot on players making the wrong decisions on loan moves when they young up and coming players or players like Gestede, Marshall and Rhodes. You have been to be very careful on selecting your next move and the club situation. When Gestede moved to Villa, they were a toxic club under poor ownership and where selecting signings on a transfer committee basis according to Sherwood's interview after his sacking. Yes Money is of course a massive motivated but I wouldn't want to just be training all the time and barely playing. Yes I would agree that he is very frustrating player from what I have watched over the years but in my opinion the type of player we need. For me, The priority next season recruitment is a 1st choice keeper with experience, A partner for Lenihan at centre, A left back even if Bell's contract is extend which I think Mowbray will be doing shortly, Then a winger. plus 2nd choice keeper. -

it is extraordinary and unprecedented situation for most of world. But I also think it is very unfair that PL clubs want to take relegation off the table. The rules are there. Yes a degree in flexibility and common sense has been applied by them slowly coming back to training and no contact training yet. Plus flexibility to when the season will start and end by clubs voting for it and no one is forcing them to rush back. Clubs have been given a vote to vote for what they want. Yes of course every club will vote for what suits that and I wouldn't expect anything else. I don't know if you seen the 2 interviews last week with Joey Barton and Gareth Ainsworth that both managers want to play on cos they think their team would have got second place but both conceded that their club owner will do what is best for their club financially. Accrington Stanley's owner is against any return to football before next season cos most of players are out of contract and doesn't want to take them of the furlough scheme. But what you don't seem to understand is that the FL and its chairman Rick Parry has given the power to the clubs and their owners to decide so no one cannot complain the season isn't done a fair manner cos its their clubs choices. Yes Sunderland and Peterborough will miss out. Whilst clubs like Wycombe and Fleetwood make the top 6. Yes Hull's Owners want their season to end but their manager want to play on now he got his players back from injury. Barnsley and Charlton want to play on and fair play to them. WBA have said publicly they want to play on. But if you read my example from before against Port Vale who was 8th in League 2 and just outside the playoffs voted to end the season. Yes there is an agreement between the Premier League and FA that they will be relegation and promotion between the PL and FL. We all know what the pandemic is and uniqueness of the situation including the clubs and players plus supporters. The PL and FL have got testing for players and so far we have minimal cases including just 2 positives test in the championship and I think just 2 in the last round of PL testing. -

Hes only 28 years old. So his peak years are now. Players make the wrong decisions at times due to agent's advice and following the money. For example Rudy Gestede. Feel like Van La Parra has done the same -
I have some quality food here in the UK and USA. But some of foods in the UK like takeaway or buffet is poor quality. Some good takeaways shops but alot of poor ones. I dont know where you been or how long you spend there but I find restaurants are better than buffets there. Totally agree on the Cheese point. Hate America cheese and dont have cheese when I go to McDonald's either now.

Wasn't Parry tho. It was the FA Chairman Greg Clarke who told PL clubs that they would be relegation this season one way or the other after press stories that certain teams want to stop any relegation this season. Its compulsory as the agreement between PL and FA when the Premier League was set up in 1991. That's why!!! The League 2 clubs have voted to end the season in Points Per Game season. Port Vale who was 8th in League 2 voted to end the season and miss out on the playoffs. The clubs have a vote. Its a fairer way as some clubs don't want to un furlough their players and let their contracts run out. League 1 clubs have a vote shortly and I would guess the majority of clubs will vote to end the season on Points Per Game system and just have the playoffs. With the top 2 going up promote. Championship clubs will vote to resume the season -

He out of contract isn't he? so I would imagine he been offered to clubs in English -
yes I suffered no problems when I've been to America different occasions. I agree with D.E that the worst food I experience was Buffet restaurants. I enjoyed the Breakfast food and Evening meal. Most of the time you only need 2 proper meals a day cos portion sizes. Breakfast food was like a Full English and a couple of pancakes with syrup. Evening meals I enjoyed was proper restaurant food. Buffet food not so much.

Have you seen the system that the EFL was use to settle League 2 and League 1. Average points per game. In League 1 it would mean Peterborough would miss out on Playoffs and Wycombe would make the playoffs. But The EFL is leaving to clubs to decide by a voting that Majority wins so clubs cant complain. Some League 1 clubs have played different number of games so that has been factor in League 2 clubs have voted for this system. I think Rick Parry has shown some leadership through this entire process and honestly with clubs. -

Is it what Spurs's owner Joe Lewis or Man City owner who had only 1 game in 12 years or Man Utd Owners the Glazers? These PL owners who dont. No Sparks its is yourself who is being argumentative and annoying cos you wont allow a different view or Opinion on anything I'm not bothered in our owners attending games or awards dinners. They keep funding the club and academy every year. -

Did you read the piece Vinjay posted? I dont think they lack interest as Balaji's son was at the club this year. Plus paying millions of pounds each year to fund the club. Plus we have heard about the owners interest from Mowbray and Waggott about Rovers. Am I bothered if we do or dont hear from them? Not interested. I do think Q&A would be good but never going to happen -

God knows. I not going to look through 92 clubs owners to see last time they spoke. The last time we heard from them is when we got promoted from league one. Just a statement. You reckon that right? Sadly it's not what I said but you posts these sort of things to get reaction. -

depends on the owners of different clubs. Some talk more than others. Venkys have been burned badly from the agents thing. Not sure they will make many public statement in the future. I always said about having a Q and A once a year with them. But it will never happened. They let Waggott and Mowbray communicate with the supporters. -
