Excellent performance today. Armstrong was my man of the match today. Unplayable today. Played the forward role excellent. Him and Rothwell find gaps in between their right back and centre back all 1st half. I was very surprised that Monk didn't take their young right back sooner than he did. Probably Rothwell best game I've seen all season from him. Shame about the yellow card. Downing ran the show in the centre midfield role. Quality signing he has been at his age. Holtby got into the box more today than in previous games he played in. It was the best performance of the season and very professionalism from the players. Great to see Rankin Costello come on and have a positive impact and get an assist. Playing from the left after replacing Rothwell on the sent off, He was late and dangerous. So the ref was right IMO. Mowbray did some of things I wanted and some not signing wise positional wise. Ability to assemble a squad I do feel that would have benefited from us having a sporting Director and that taking some of pressure Mowbray and allowed him to focus on the training field and working with the squad. Allow alot of scouting to be done by other people to set it up and appoint scouts and analysts. That's probably why Mowbray uses Venus to help him in sort of sporting director role at times. I do think he was far loyal to certain players and in giving them new contracts like Smallwood, Mulgrew and Luetwiler.

I like Lenihan in defence and he would be my captain of the team. We signed Cunningham and I was hoping he would be long term left back. I think we need a leader in defence to partner Lenihan. Jansson, Ajayi or Hector was ideal. They has been others aswell. Byram or Odubajo for right back slot. Its about improving the quality and making sure its good enough like Brentford who signed Jansson and Pinnock. I wouldn't have signed Brereton as I would have signed a centre back first and look for cheap forward(Matt Smith who was QPR now Millwall) instead. I wouldn't have signed Gallagher after spending 7 mil the season before on Brereton signing. Now if you asked me if I have to pick between Gallagher and Brereton as a signing I would have pick Gallagher.

I would strengthen the defence with the money we spend on Brereton as soon as we were promoted. Someone like Egan or Konsa would have done the job.. This summer I mention going for players Jansson or Byram. Would I sign him this summer? No cos the money would have mostly gone on the defensively area of the team. Plus we signed Brereton the previous summer. Well I was impressed with him. That goal against Wolves is still one of favourite goals.

I think the 2.5 million is release clause in his contract. Is he good enough? I cant comment as I havent see enough of the players. Stats look good but they have for 3.5 years. So I wonder why he hasnt moved before.

I told you on a different social media when I was banned on here that I wanted rebuild the back 4 and keeper departments during the last 4 months of last season and this summer which you seem very happily to forget when it suits your argument. By making the signings we need like new 1st choice keeper, right back, left back and 2 centre backs. Me and other people on this forum think there is a player in Gallagher. I have posted recently about him and his development going wrong when not here. Not getting into the Bennett debate again with you as it is utter pointless I wasnt on the forum towards last months of last season but I posted on different social media about getting a new experience keeper, leader in centre defence, 2 new full backs in the starting 11.

Well we have an academy that we are investing in so we need to bringing through are own players IMO. Adarabioyo is 22 years old, hardly a youngster is he! Yes we might have some money to spend but we are also spending money on our academy and facilities aswell. So it got to a balance act. I would keep Buckley here and let him develop here. Yet again I going over the Brereton and Gallagher signings day after day, week after week with you. You might to spend discussing this issue to death, quite frankly I've fed up keep going over this time after time. Why would any manager tell the press their budget? Would be very stupid to do thing. We seem to have scouts at games in Europe. I dont how many we have. Hopefully this European scout has alot of experience overseas and contacts in different leagues and countries

Well I cant answered that question why an European network was set up sooner. Maybe waiting for Venkys to sign it off a problem or bringing in the right staff? I don't know. I couldn't think of a better job then watching loads of football games as a job myself
