  1. Like I said I have no reason not to trust JB's info that Dack had agreed a move to WBA. I don't know the full in's and out's The rumours of Schmidt are correct. Look at Rich Sharpe tweet yesterday that he replied to me on twitter, @SkipDonoghue's post on a young German attacking midfielder being shown around Brockhall and the article on him being linked on here. I don't know anything about the player or where he played positional or how many times we scouted him. So before I start putting the player into category of bizarre choice I would like to alot more about the player and why we are signing him and how many times we scouted him. Like I said yesterday and before, I think there is a player in Sam Gallagher but in terms of development he hasn't improved in his 2 years away from here due to a poor loan move at Birmingham for the reasons I explained yesterday and being stuck in Southampton 23's last season. He had 5 good chances yesterday but he got in the right positions but he does need to improve his movement and especially his anticipation aswell to get even more. Yes we have bought the players we have bought is right. we can re writing history as much as we might want too.
  2. Brereton wasn't Mowbray 1st choice target. Gallagher was. we tried for him but Southampton wouldn't sell and Hughes said he would keep him and use him which never happened,
  3. Mowbray and the coaching staff highly rated Buckley which is what Ive heard at the start of the season. Mowbray and Waggott have said this a number of times
  4. Yes he did. That's sort of my point tho. we knew the rules so we have to deal with it. if Dack was set to leave and go to WBA then we shouldn't have played him. I have no reason not to trust JB's info on this. Mowbray doesn't seem to think Rothwell can play the 10 role which I think he can IMO. Holtby can but doesn't seem fit enough to last a full game but it is his 1st season at this level so still coming to terms with fitness levels needed at this level
  5. Well we bought the players we have bought/. Cant re write history sadly Freeman gives you creativity. So you want 6 signings this window? so where are the funds coming from and we just keep adding to the squad that need cutting number wise. Plus FFP rules to comply with I said that we need 3 signings. Keeper, left back and centre back this season. Is this Schmidt coming in on a loan to buy next summer to replace Dack long term? That's what I said this morning I don't see Brereton being here much longer for the reasons I posted yesterday
  6. yet again wages and fees involved no chance. we are very likely to sell a Dack(if fit), Lenihan or Armstrong to keep us under FFP rules. Stupid rules in my opinion. This is why we will be looking for free transfers, loan players and cheap deals this coming summer transfer window Hogan's wages are too much for us. Same with Hart's wages If you wanted to replace Dack then why not look at Luke Freeman at Sheff Utd who is on 10k a week according to reports wants to leave Sheff Utd due to lack of playing time there
  7. Haven't already told you today the answer to this question?
  8. Sibley got his maiden half century. Played sensible and to his strengths
  9. My point was signings from Foriegn clubs through scouting actually
  10. He ain't going to a non league club. He's well above that level.
  11. Cant afford his wages. Oh well. His lost. Hope he enjoying league 1 football this season. I've seen him play. Is he better than Evans and Travis? Not a chance. People have different opinions.
  12. 52 for 1 at Lunch. Lead of 98 so far. Crawley looked comfortable mostly. Struggled by Rababa short ball but he will get used to the pace and adapt. Sibley needs a score
  13. I wouldnt take over Him over Evans and Travis. So we put a bid for this Whiteman this summer then? He's going to Newcastle? Is he better than Shevley or the Longstaff brothers?
  14. Wasnt in management at that time. ?
  15. He needs to play regularly and get his confidence back. Most of his games at Forest came under Warburton. Maybe he the type of person who can get the best out of him
  16. Never played against Rovers. 6 games all season. Ben William's was good for us. Set to sign our 1st foreign signing if reports are to believe. Plus our scouts have been in Germany, Portugal and France.
  17. We have to see what happens. Depends what year 2 of our championship returns show financially. We need to start looking towards the foreign more and getting players cheaper than we paid for Brereton or Gallagher. I would imagine our summer signings will be free transfers and loans. With the bulk of them foreign players.
  18. Doesn't see properly tbh Thought you were on about else. Sorry my apologies
  19. He moved to right back when Williams came on for Bennett
  20. Potential signing for under 23's Rovers interested in Man Utd right back George Tanner who has been loaned at Morecambe http://roverschat.com/rumour-mill-rovers-have-enquired-about-manchester-united-full-back/ Rovers looking to sign on loan Young German Schmidt for 6 months loan http://roverschat.com/rumour-mill-german-youngster-reportedly-set-for-rovers-loan-move/
  21. @Tyrone Shoelaces Ive seen you mention this Rochdale right back Luke Matheson in another thread, can you tell me why you were so impressive by him?
  22. I believe him and Mowbray have a good working relationship.
