Firstly, no one is being patronising so stop saying it every time. I was there in stadium live, watch it back once and spoken to few Rovers and PNE fans. Ive already said I want Travis in my team. Last season is last season. Means nothing now this season. Downing form has made it harder for him to start. I think Buckley has been ok this season. Impress me at WBA. Rankin Costello form and attitude this season has been impressive. Deserve his place on bench
-
really? suggest you watch the game again. I spoken to several PNE fans who agree my assessment. Bennett had a specific job to do on that game and he did so good Neil was force to move Gallagher position and then took him off to bring on a target man. Rothwell hasn't look anywhere near the same player as last season. why should Chapman be closer than Buckley to the first team?
-
Well if you was there at the game it was clear to see plus we played 4-1-4-1 last week with Dack deeper. Bennett was very good as was Evans. I want Travis in my team. Dont know how you can pick Johnson and Rothwell ahead of Downing or Armstrong and Evans(after last week performance) is just bizarre. Plus dont understand how you can pick Chapman ahead of Buckley is another favourtism of yours.

NO TO KEOGH!!! -
Chapman's sttitude seems a problem atm as Mowbray suggest weeks ago(i think) Davenport's problem is injures at the minute.

Werent Villa 13th in the league in March and ended up going on a great run and winning playoffs.
-
The sport reporter with the Sun. He has good contacts at Rovers. Hes the one if i remember correctly who ran the Bowyer been sack after Brighton game. I would say majority of fans are still backing him.
-
Depend if the person was a member at the start of the season doesn't it. Waggott has explained why it so high. Sheff Wed charged us similar prices last season as I paid it. I have already expresses my concerns over the prices of food and drinks plus prices of games But @only2garners said he would take some of our ideas of this forum to the next fan forum meeting. Also the prices of all games were announce before the season started some fans know the prices for 3 months

You are correct Paul. I'm(and another Rovers supporting fan) spoken to Alan Nixon and Ken Lawrence over the 24 hours and they both say Ken Lawrence responses are question asked:- Is Mowbray under any pressure? KL Answer :- No. Venkys really like him. They know he is changing BR and it will take time. Consider where they were after rel to L1. Plus for right now loads of injuries. He’s seen to be doing a good job next question asked :- about Saturday performance KL answer :- I was there. Walton doesn’t miss a cross and there is no fight back. Mowbray trying to make BR a football playing side again. When Holtby gets back plus Lenihan and Cunningham they will be much better Next question/comment asked:- Said we need a new keeper and Right back KL Answer response:- Totally need a new GK Nixon says his job isn't current threat atm Last night/This morning via a Group chat containing people who are Rovers fans are mixed whether to keep Mowbray or not. Some say time to go, some say keep him for the season and some saying hes get 6 games or till Christmas time and some are undecided and would depend on who is his replacement. My view is the same but he is going nowhere at the minute so lets hope he can turn results around and get to January were we can sign the 3 or 4 players we need in the squad.

-
not anymore. don't enjoy it
-
no need for that pal. Not interested in drinking or owt.
-
who knows what they are thinking. ?
-
Well I didn't when Mowbray was appointed. I was very surprise how quick we appoint someone. Senior told me the reasons why he appointed him. We don't know what Waggott or owners think so far.
-
Dack played deeper yesterday and Armstrong wide.
-
for me, each fan is allowed they own opinion. We might not agree all of the time. Even I want to change manager as I don't see the team progressing and I see the same mistakes as last season. I am a big fan of Mowbray and stuck up for him loads on this forum time after time, I am the type of person who gave the manager time but I feel that Mowbray hasn't addressed the areas in the summer he should have done with the experience players we needed.

If Tony goes...

The line up 1st half worked so well Preston manager took off his playmaker Gallagher cos Bennett man marked out of the game. How was yesterday game formation over complication it? IMO, its was logic and simple. 4-4-2 would have allowed Gallagher and Johnson too much space. We stop that first half. Second half our centre backs wasn't strong enough to deal with a simple target man striker -
Cheston should have never gone on holiday until Warnock was appoint. Someone suggest Coyle to the owners and Suhail, who was at the club at that time that could have suggestion his name to those people? The owners clearly trust Mowbray and that's why he got a new contract. That's was my point.
-
Fair enough for having the balls to post what you have cos many people wouldn't have done. Whilst I grateful for stabilising the club and for putting in place a proper infrastructure compare to past years, I feel Mowbray is repeating the same mistakes of his Boro and Coventry days, not signing a centre back leader. Would you not agree that the failing to sign an experience keeper, centre back and right back is costly us dearly now? Yes you are quite correct that we have unusual owners who expect the manager and staff to go to India as they wont come here. People can bang on about it being wrong but its their way and they aint changing any time soon. I agree that Hughes, Big Sam or Hughton aint coming here. Not sure that Holloway would be the right appointment either at the current time. I tend to agree Ainsworth would be good appointment. I think Damien Johnson could be the right appointment with the right staff around him. I would also look at Nigel Pearson, Calrlos Carvalhl, Nigel Adkins, Maybe Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson. I am sure that some overseas managers will apply for the job aswell. Yes they are loads of managers out there but would you really want them here tho. Like for example, how would you feel if we appoint someone like Pardew or Paul Clement?
-
I was still in my young years(less than 5 years old) when Walker bought the club. So I don't know the Bancroft and Fox era too much. I don't see the owners telling Mowbray he cant sign defenders for x or y or z reasons. Mowbray has the final decision. I don't know why he didn't sign the defenders we needed. Too loyal to current players.

Mowbray wanted Ben Hegenhan when we got relegated to league 1 but Sheff Utd got him. I thought Mowbray might move for him in the summer after his good spell at Blackpool from reporters and the 1 game I watched him. Over the 2 summers he had more than enough time to sign one or 2 plus an experience keeper. He failed. Experience right back aswell wouldnt got a miss either.
