  2. Wasn’t it ? I’d love to do more of these but I need people to volunteer.... ???
  3. If you click on the first link above it takes you to the podcast archive....then just click on the play button....
  4. Are you a PC, smartphone, tablet user to gain access to the forum ?

  8. From Daniel Storey (big Forest fan...) on Twitter
  9. Great thread...! As BRFCS podcast listeners will be aware....I said after the Shrewsbury away game last season that a Mr Bradley Dack was “an elegant solution to a problem we don’t have...”. Yeah, well.... Going back a little I expressed incredulity at signing Brad Friedel when we had in John Filan an excellent keeper; I thought Mark Hughes was just topping up his pension when he came as a player, Craig Bellamy was a trouble maker who would ruin the dressing room and that Kevin Davies would be a tremendous asset.... I’m amazed I’m allowed anywhere near our podcasts if I’m being honest...?
  10. The company responsible has been on Twitter confirming that they will be dimmed on Saturday....?
  11. Sunderland fans see signing of Rodwell as revenge for us selling Steele to them....? https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/rodwell-to-blackburn.1443055/
  12. It’s pay on the day as well for Rovers fans...
  13. All £18 tickets now sold....only £24 in the East Stand now. Considering the lack of concessions I don’t think that’s a bad effort at all.
  14. ...or you’re a pensioner, disabled or a Hull fan that has that issue 23 times a season.
  15. Hull do NOT offer concessions across the board. It’s a massive issue for their fans who are elderly, disabled &/or take kids. We have been Tweeting support for the campaigning Hull fans as the policy is shocking. How the EFL can sit idly by is astonishing.
  16. Because a goal is worth a goal irrespective of when scored. Fixating purely on conceding a late one is a very specific crusade IMHO. ?‍♂️
  17. ...but this implies that the 1st goal is irrelevant...it carries just as much weight as the 2nd one...why not the same level of outrage at being “caught cold” in the opening 10minutes ? ?
  18. This kind of implies that if we concede in the 84th minute then it would be OK ? A goal is a goal, whether conceded in the 1st or 90th. It just feels different psychologically so close to the end of a game. A defensive lapse, a piece of brilliance, a bit of luck....can happen at any point in the 90 minutes.?‍♂️
  19. There needs to be a counterpoint to have a debate ? I know my place as a cynical old git ? More seriously, I did say that if we brought pace in & cover for DG we would finish higher....so fingers crossed. A good start is vital I feel...??
  20. A new season, a new series of podcasts, new theme music, a new panelist...you can't say we're not trying ? A cast of thousands on this episode all wanting to have their say & predict the Rovers likely finishing position upon our return to the Championship. Listen right to the end as the last 2 guests have their own section. Your host Ian Herbert tries to keep order as Josh Boswell, Kamy, Mike Delap, Michael Taylor (the Marple Leaf), Linz Lewis, Jen Bellamy (new signing) & guests Scott Sumner & Tom Schofield are fuelled with pre-season bonhomie. Massive thanks to Joe Bamford (Biz) & his band "The Symmetry" for providing us with our own theme music for this season. We'll hopefully hear more from Joe & the band as the season progresses... Listen out for some acronym related high jinks as one panelist mixes up the EDS at Man City with the EDL...both have some right-wingers...but...well you know... Hope you enjoy & if anyone fancies contributing a first or favourite Rovers memory, or a Revisionist Rovers item for a future episode, that would be great. Episode here :- http://brfcs-podcast.brfcs.com/?name=2018-08-02_brfcs_episode_97.mp3 ...and in iTunes feeds as well...please make sure you subscribe & please leave us a review...it really does help us. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/brfcs-blackburn-rovers-fan-community-podcast-from-brfcs/id1282664472?mt=2#episodeGuid=http%3A%2F%2Fbrfcs-podcast.brfcs.com%2F%3Fname%3D2018-08-02_brfcs_episode_97.mp3 http://brfcs-podcast.brfcs.com/feed.xml Feedback & ideas welcomed & many thanks to those who have offered (& submitted) contributions already.
