  1. November 1992 ends with QPR visiting Ewood & Rovers frankly need a win & Shearer needs a goal... #DalglishOut wasn't trending...thinking about it, nothing was trending...oh happy days. Equally Shearer wasn't playing wide right, though frankly if he had, he would still have been in the top 3 right wingers in the country...
  2. Four games without a win...Rovers travel to the Dell to try & get back into winning ways...
  3. Could the visit of Spurs on 7th November herald a return to form ?
  4. After that extraordinary defeat of Norwich City, Rovers lost their goalscoring touch...
  5. October ends with a trip over the Pennines to Hillsborough...
  6. The book is quite different- darker, more nuanced
  7. The renewal of an old rivalry...it's Fergie Time at Ewood Park...
  8. Let's have another one shall we ? Monday Night Football at Villa Park as Rovers look to consolidate on the terrific Norwich result.
  9. October 3rd 1992 - I actually missed this game as I had a prior appointment but Rovers were at home to Norwich City - at kick off, the league leaders... For some reason, YouTube thinks my clip is a WBA game & blocked it on copyright grounds so follow this clip for all the goals & mine for the pre & post match bits !
  10. September 1992 ends with Oldham Athletic visiting Ewood...watch out for some Mimms heroics...
  11. Just finished binge-watching this, enjoyed it I have to say, best not to get hung up on the factual inaccuracies & watch it as if it’s a football Chariots of Fire I would suggest. Old Fergie seems to have been quite a guy if even only half of the story is true.
  12. Adam Blacklaw, Frank Kopel, Billy McKinlay, Kevin Gallacher.... er...Joe Craig...Ally Dawson...Charlie Mulgrew...Craig Conway...
  13. After a disappointing first defeat of the season at home to Everton in midweek, Rovers once more travelled to Selhurst Park - this time to face Wimbledon and the returning Vinnie Jones...controversy was inevitable...

  15. Could Rovers complete their first double of the season at Highbury?
  16. Decent start for the Premier League newcomers, but next up a trip to Highbury...
  17. September 1992 - following the away win at Coventry, Rovers welcome Brian Clough's Forest to Ewood - could Rovers maintain their solid start to the season? Would Mark Crossley keep Shearer at bay?
  18. “What do we need a Friedel for...Filan is a great keeper...”
  19. I've so far digitised the whole of 1992/3...I'll try & edit at least one per day s/t health of nearest & dearest (& me...!)
