  1. If you count wages saved for Woodrow; for completeness…ACD, Beck, Dennis, Sanderson…
  2. To protect his value which they hope will rise off the back of a successful loan I presume
  3. https://eflanalysis.com/news/the-real-reason-venkys-arent-selling-blackburn-rovers-as-200m-verdict-issued/
  4. The plan is cost control. Football is secondary.
  5. It’s my coping strategy…(& I think it’s more effective on the radio 😉)
  6. If you mean huge sponsorship deals like Man City & Chelsea….plus they have been under a different rules regime in L1 & L2
  7. Did a bit on BBC Radio Lancs earlier… from 21:15 in… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002ghhg?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Valerien Ismael is NOT the manager by 1st March 2026
  10. To the Hawthorns it is to start the new season. Here’s the recent results against the Baggies…
  11. Saw enough there to be concerned that a couple of injuries to key players would be incredibly impactful. Kargbo livened things up for 20 minutes then disappeared. The defence looked brittle. The midfield largely overrun. The attack - anonymous for 70 minutes. Without significant signings in August this squad has us looking down the league not up. We can but hope that Sheffield Weds & Hull City book two of the places and Charlton/PNE/Oxford stumble else it could be a tough old watch.
  12. Should never read too much into pre-season…but that said, a lot of concerns expressed on here in recent weeks are being vindicated.
