The betting reflects where money is being wagered. Money wagered in such a small market is disproportionately influential in shifting the market. Some folks will undoubtedly bet based on the gossip you mention. I reckon if 4/5 members of this forum each placed £50 on say, Steve Bruce, then he’d be the new favourite.
