IMO - There’s always room for civilised conversation/discussion/debate. As long as it remains civilised I enjoy the opposition’s perspective…makes for more nuanced reading. We had loads of obnoxious Wrexham fans on here earlier this year who lasted 2 minutes, on the other end of the spectrum we also have the likes @PotterLog who provides insight into Stoke…the day we lose contributors like that will be a sad one. Disappointed you feel like that Gav.

I think it’s perfectly acceptable & intellectually consistent to hold concurrent views along the lines of 1. I want Rovers to be an incredibly successful football club & I will support the team 100% 2. I think the owners & their acolytes are a major problem to achieving 1. In a modern polarised society too many folks can’t handle this it appears…especially on Facebook…or if you live in California…

The key part of that is PERSONAL guarantee…this brings potential liability (& scrutiny?) into their personal domain. My experience in financial services for 40+ years was that asking directors for personal guarantees for corporate borrowing REALLY focused their minds… If the court requires a bank guarantee - this would cost them money & would impact upon their bank facilities.
