  1. We’re all waiting for an update @Devon Rover 😀 What was the verdict?
  2. You’ve been waiting for this haven’t you? 😳 Trelleborgs (h) - 13/9/94
  3. It’s already happening… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cx2y6kdk4z0o
  4. I know…in person retailing is struggling massively
  5. Sponsor’s details for clarity…e.g. this season’s kits were almost certainly manufactured before the WR deal was signed… Next season’s will probably be manufactured early 2025 so unless next season’s sponsor is sorted now they’ll be prepared blank.
  6. Previous meetings & last match…
  7. The BRFCS POTM supported by @RoversTrust is…. MOTM template.mp4
  8. This digital initiative works (for clubs) on many levels. Reduces costs of fulfilment - printing, paper, envelope stuffing Enables tracking of customer activity - big data, much to analyse Prevents ticket transfers/resales More secure processes The “younger” tech-savvy generation is used to using tech for everything, older folks like me I guess will embrace it based on their comfort level. I welcome everything being on one device…right up to the point where I lose/forget my phone or the battery fails…👀 Regarding the shop - I’d be amazed if the gross profit on non-matchday sales cover the costs of the wages of the folks in there TBH. A weekday Rovers store needs to be in the shopping centre not at the ground.
  9. The issue with iron on v sublimation is the planning cycle. The kit designs are finalised so far in advance that unless the club has a multi-year sponsorship deal the manufacturers won’t have the details in time so you end up with heat-pressed detail. I quite liked the fleecy iron on McEwans but I always found the white rectangle uncomfortable to wear when playing in it (even in 5 a side..!). The kappa/Time shirts were really good - I love the navy blue away one - but when we went to AMD - that too became an iron on…
  10. Don’t delay…vote today for your BRFCS POTM supported by @RoversTrust https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/football/match/1215951/blackburn-swansea?tab=voting
  11. @StubbsUKwas working on it last night…
  12. If we hadn’t taken it over, there wouldn’t be a BRFCS so technically you are quite correct.
  13. BTW - @StubbsUK is attempting some remedial work tonight so the site may drop intermittently.
  14. Thanks…please try this… https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=en-GB&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop#zippy=%2Cdelete-cookies-from-a-site
  15. Here you go… https://www.aboutcookies.org.uk/managing-cookies/how-to-clear-cookies-on-mozilla-firefox
  16. The issue is caused by a specific BRFCS cookie lurking in whatever your default browser might have been (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox etc). If you know how to clear your browser cache, that gets rid of it but it’s a bit of a blunderbuss approach & might clear out some other useful information you’d prefer not to lose. The ‘sniper’ approach is to delete just the rogue BRFCS cookie. The pdf guide we put together (on page 1 of this thread) was based on the most popular combinations of device/operating software & browser that we had experience of… Using a (new) different browser solves it because the cookie isn’t lurking in there from previous activity basically. If anyone wants to /needs to access BRFCS using their preferred browser - the best option is probably to Google the combination of device/operating system & browser with a specific text in the search of “deleting a site specific cookie”. The other option is to be patient & eventually it will refresh & the problem will disappear…think of it as “the ownership cookie” 😆

  20. The next instalment of 1994/5 programmes - Coventry City (h) 27/8/94
  21. In this episode Alex Ireland makes a welcome return to the 4000 Holes Round Table to tell us all-out his new book chronicling the history of one of the UK's most iconic sports brands - Umbro.
