  1. At this rate the Venkys will start paying attention by just after Xmas (maybe mid-Feb). Dreadfully run club. Shame on the lot of them.. and I never wanted Mowbray. A has-been of the most dreadful sorts
  2. We still have decent players despite the injuries. It's a poor division. We need a positive manager. Mowbray spouting crap on Sky right now. Walk you t__t
  3. Wow! If that team can stay up? And Huddersfield aren't that better. Sell up Venkys
  4. No but I believe you. Rovers are finished as a club. Never get 20,000 again. Mr Waggott is a typical Venkys appointment. "I don't care. I have a job. Ain't I lucky, bro?" No need to answer.
  5. Not looking forward to this. Mowbray will go gung ho. 3 nil. Then I woke up. Venkys started the disillusion
  6. I got in trouble with a game when we were in the Premiership (nose bleed our younger listeners). Home to QPR . Sky made a wrong call and called the opposition winning. I said good. Get rid of Kean. Got twatted on here for that. Proper fan ladella. Hope we lose tomorrow. Don't want a Coventry at this club. Lose Mowbray, we lose the other parasites. Nice man Mowbray? Don't think so
  7. Can we fast forward to May please? It's going to be an awfully predictable excuse of a season. Sounds from the optimistic "real fans" Telegraph that the righteous Tony is losing a few. Matter of time. Can't see him walking with his mate in charge but you never know what pressure does (and half the dressing room-the good half?). Kudos for those who went today. Admire your tenacity.
  8. Appalling. But the Loons won't react till we're in the bottom three come Feb or March. Then it will be too late. I despair.
  9. Can't see the club binning Mowbray. Think I preferred Bowyer. (Wrong thread I suppose)
  10. As my brother would say: "At least we aren't Bury or Bolton". Proper fan
  11. Not been a lot to write about since that momentous day. Very disappointing anticlimax. Thanks Venkys
  12. Depends what Venkys want. Another "confused" ten years of treading water? Then Tony's your man
  13. I live in Bedfordshire. Have Luton Town colleagues to suffer on Monday. Thank you Tony and Venkys. Guess it will still be a while till I watch that team I started watching in 63. Happy Kean out day to those who care. Getting my bulletproof vest out for Monday. Oh and if the Vs are listening - can we have central defenders and attackers in January? Too much to ask for an ambitious manager.
  14. Danny's the latest to fall in the old manager's dementia. Rothwell looked good with Dack on the little I saw on t.v. at the back end of the season. Not a proper fan though sitting 209 miles away. Wish we could get decent owners and a competent manager though. Fed up with being pessimistic and having happy go-lucky Luton fans around me. Remember the days? Shearer and Ripley? R .
  15. Mr Harvey Biggest wind up ever on here. Go back to Twitter at al. I don't believe your sincerity. Why would you open so many old wounds? Kean not unpopular for so many? Having a laugh. Fish in the River Darwen
  16. Should come about 15th. Tony will say a season of consolidation. Nice burst towards Xmas then a poor Jan window when "it was hard to bring in what we needed". Waggott scratching his head why attendances are not raising the roof off Ewood. Good the kids are getting a chance but with the real chancer in charge with his favourites we have very little chance of promotion for the foreseeable future. Maybe Venkys will show respect to the good folk of East Lancashire. Doubt it.
  17. I joined the petition. EFL should feel ashamed for allowing one club to exist with a youth team and another to go which had a profiteer in charge. Bury have a team, a manager and now a consortium like Bolton found one 24 hours before. I find it strange (no) that the same circumstances of being late on governance only happened to one. EFL is too lazy to allow Bury the chance to put their hands up and concede the points, get the further deduction and would gladly go down and stay in the league with new owners. Shame on you football and very happy that Alexis Sanchez can go abroad and Manure will pay a mere 300,000 a week for a has been in the mighty Premiership. What a tosspot world we live in. Rant over. Poor Bury and their town.
  18. He's a dinosaur. Can't think outside the box. Has previous. Ideal for Venky Rovers
  19. Ginger Ramos from Hamburg gone to Sheff Wed. At least we're advertising a post out there. Do one, Tony
  20. Sky say Sane coming for 1 million pound loan for six months as replacement for Gladwin. Sad Mowbray says he may play centre half depends if Walton shows he's good enough with Richie in goal. Sad year coming up. Thank you Venkys and Rovers Trust
  21. Very true Jim. No chance of understanding. Need Waggott to jump before Mowbray. More chance of me setting foot on Ewood or Craven Cottage. Last game was one-nil there. Rhodes and Duffy debut. God those Wankys can lose support pretty vacantly
  22. Dack is Rovers' best asset. Unfortunately head seems turned. Last transfer day is a good time to sell. Won't watch them even on TV this season (Or any other with Waggott in charge). Sad when I want Dack out for defenders. Always liked the playmakers. He linked well with Rothwell at the back end of last season. Need defenders though. Pity the club are making excuses for billionaire owners and the chicken chokers haven't the gonads to accept their mistakes. Haven't been this peeved since they put the bad guys in charge nearly ten years ago. RIP
  23. Hi. Long time, no see. This board is like Brexit. Love Mowbray or doubt him. I'm a remoaner. Have no confidence in next season. Have an old man in charge with old ways. Bless him. Hate whjat's happened to this website. In the 90s we were so supportive to each other. Ok we had a functional club and good managers and people in place in very important positions. Venkys killed that and I have no faith in their "ambitions". Just sorry we as an entity have fallen by their rules to the wayside. Hope we can one day replace the old guard at the back. Good youth in midfield but fear the manager's stubbornness. Yes, sounds like a gramaphone. Very old and even I don't have one. Before the usual suspects have a go - have a look in the mirror or read a book (as a good teacher says). Bye Roverites, Brexiteers and Remainers. A country and a club divided
  24. A question for you brainiacs. Who loses more leads - a dog owner or Tony Mowbray? Answers on the back of a matchbox
