Small chance of keeping him? They wouldn't sell Brererton or Rothwell with only a year on their deals but you reckon we only have a small chance of keeping Wharton? I'd be inclined to believe Broughton that only a ridiculous offer would tempt the club, but we won't get those offers for him this summer.

Surely he won't step down to league one someone in the championship will offer him a contract and if not Mowbray at Sunderland I could see Millwall taking an interest in him.Be sad to see him drop down to that level again he still has the ability to play at this level with a team that will suit his style and a manager who values him more

Dolan buries that chance and we went in front at that point of the game and we would have gone on to win comfortably imo. I honestly don't see why we can't make the playoffs. We have had a couple of bad results and poor performances Vs Brum and Norwich but on Monday 2 soft goals conceded aside we looked very good and Huddersfield were on the back of winning their last 3 including beating Boro 4-2 in the previous game. None of the chasing pack and even the other clubs in the top 6 Luton aside are winning every week. The next 2 games are huge.This weekend for example Boro play Norwich and Preston face Millwall a win at home v Hull and we could have a 3 points cushion again with an extra game to play. On paper our run in looks slightly tougher than the others but still we have the second best home record and on our day and give anyone in the league a game. I just couldn't agree with your mentality at the minute.Imo the same attacking intent as shown v Huddersfield and pre international break in our next 2 winnable home matches and we will get the 6 points

Next 2 games are huge. With Preston playing Millwall and Boro v Norwich a win against Hull will put us in a nice position.Hopefully a Boro win And Millwall to win or draw

Maybe it's because 5 ,6 if you include Khadra of the starting 11 that got us into such a good position had departed the club. We finished 8th last season but that was due to an exceptional couple of months, with our defence mean and Brererton banging them in.The minute Brererton got injured and Rothwell started playing shit we went tumbling down the table.The minute the squad players /January signings were called upon results where more often than not poor. JDT did not arrive into a top 8 squad.
