  1. Yeah let's not be disappointed at missing out on the best midfielder in the championship last season
  2. For me there was no downside to agreeing to pay the £10 million ,you would likely get half back if you sold him to a parachute club anyway and even if kept on and not prem standard (which I don't believe he has had a proper chance to prove yet) he would be an asset if we went back down which in all probability we would. Gutted this deal isn't happening
  3. Can't wait...Sunday exclusive from Nixon ...the striker we went for on deadline day but didn't get!
  4. Presumably the club presented all the evidence they had today if not then why not? This appeal is just a waste of time.
  5. No.Its not the first time a deal sheet has been late.
  6. Then you just don't go for that calibre of player in the first place. In fairness im not having a go but a few days ago we only had 10k wages to play with according to your source and then we are agreeing to pay O'Briens 30k wages. It's incompetence plain and simple no conspiracy.
  7. Nixon saying we can appeal. No point though is there really.Fuck up of a club .Feel for 0'Brien
  8. Will the club even be arsed putting a bullshit statement out? Everyone out!
  9. If a few bad results follow this deadline day debacle JDT will walk
  10. It's been turned down.Nixon wouldn't be saying it had if he hadn't got an answer. It's over.No O'Brien and a powderpuff midfield for the rest of the season
  11. Nixon said Pascha and Waggott were in Birmingham and it was down to Sylvester to send off the relevant forms. Said O'Brien heading back to Forest .
  12. Hopefully this will go through. The club won't have an answer yet, if the EFL had made a decision it would have been leaked by now.
  13. Nixon saying Rovers haven't had an answer from the EFL yet
  14. If O'Brien goes through then O'Brien and Thomas are 2 signings that are better than anyone we have signed in January in years. They won't have been cheap deals and O'Brien and Thomas give us a far greater chance of maintaining a top 6 position than Zeefuk did. It's a shambles but still 2 quality players coming into the starting 11.(if O'Brien happens)
  15. We were in for Undav and Gerhaldt they wouldnt have been cheap and didn't fall down due to finance And Sorba Thomas wasn't a cheap deal to do
  16. Disgraceful that the club have said absolutely nothing
  17. Looks like it's been a fuck up again . No other reason for the silence
  18. Be more exciting if my alarm wasn't set for 5:30
  19. Sharpe suggesting more than one
  20. JDT didn't sound positive reading that
  21. Imagine if we signed nobody now
  22. Could also be referring to Markanday signing for Aberdeen
  23. We haven't made the playoffs since we got relegated. Signing players of the calibre of O'Brien would be beyond us to do on a permanent deal and what would we be getting for what it is costing us for O'Brien if we had persued a permanent option in this window. Even Thomas you would have been talking £3 or 4 million at least and matching or bettering his salary Still need a striker and O'Brien confirmed
