  1. The worry is that although in control, we didn’t create many chances or work the keeper.
  2. He would have been running on empty but I am sure he would have managed another 5 / 10 minutes. His ball retention and finding space might have been the difference.
  3. Leicester away and the performance, if not the result, at Huddersfield 🤷‍♂️
  4. That’s my mantra as well but it has all gone out the window now. I’m still gutted and fuming 24 hours on just like I would have been back in the day.
  5. Well, that should clear it up and if doesn’t, nothing will. Clear as day, initial contact with hand and taking it towards the goal.
  6. If they have an exit option, they would be very wise to take it.
  7. I’m going to say it, we beat the Dingles 😊
  8. It didn’t need slowing down to be fair and officials should have seen it. It was a motion towards the ball and not something that just hit him.
  9. Apologies, just trying to convey the fact that it was a blatant handball and that it is clear from the TV footage.
  10. Yep, he isn’t afraid of putting his foot in, unlike the Liverpool loanee.
  11. Slow the sky frames down, even without doing that, it is clear as day that the keeper’s initial touch, not the final touch, was handball and took it towards the net. If you can’t see it, get to the opticians quickly.
  12. Like 1987, we had all basically given up and we beat Millwall, crowned as Division 2 Champions, 1:4 at the Old Den😊 What a day that was but unfortunately, we then got hammered by Chelsea ☹️
  13. I would play Leonard before him, we need a goal threat. I know it was asking a lot of him last night given the circumstances but his defensive side is very poor, he was absolutely abysmal as he didn’t hold it up, control the ball or find a teammate with a pass, not once.
  14. Also, let’s not forget that the missed penalty resulted from another poor refereeing decision as Bradley Dack had put put the ball in the back of the onion bag 😡
  15. I imagine it was Hirst and Leicester who pulled the plug. Having fucked up the transfer window and the injury situation, I bet JDT wishes he still had Hirst as an option. My pal who is a ST holder at Portman Road rates him and says the crowd have really taken to him. If we are all honest, he never really got a run of games to show what he could do or any luck. Missing that penalty at Cardiff did for him, score and it could have been very different 🙈
  16. I get as frustrated as anyone with some of the slow football but given the cards he has been dealt, he’s done a first class job and with a smile. He’s a million % improvement on the curmudgeon dinosaur who made you feel like slitting your wrists every week.
  17. At least the travelling fans will be doing our big, hopefully the players reciprocate with a positive performance and win.
  18. He then went on to say it hit his knee and why moan ! There is nothing worse when Managers, Coaches, Players etc continue to ignore the clear and irrefutable evidence of camera footage, just fucking fess up ! You’ve got the benefit at least be man enough to concede it shouldn’t have stood but thems the breaks.
  19. You’re absolutely right. A great corner but it should have been dealt with by defender / keeper at the near post, shambles.
  20. I have a feeling we will turn up and win one of the derbies, we owe them both after the capitulations in the reverse fixtures 🙈🙏 Really disappointing last night but we still have a chance.
  21. Fully agree with all this. I think losing Gallagher and having to replace with Dolan sunk us.
  22. That’s very, very worrying. I think blowing the play offs by losing to Knob End / Dingles and then losing JDT would put the club into a death roll. ST uptake would be disastrous.
  23. Tom, there is absolutely no element of doubt, he used his hand to move the ball towards the goal.
  24. Pears had very little to do but did look edgy when the screw was turned at the death. In truth, claiming corners and commanding your box against a late onslaught is hardly Kaminski’s strong point. He would have been equally, if not more uncomfortable.
  25. I have seen it on TV, frame by frame and he initially, and very clearly, uses his hand to take it towards the goal. Robbed, scandalous 😡
