  1. It’s Rothwell. Although I’m no longer convinced by most of the players’ profile pics any more. I wonder if it’s being done deliberately now or if they genuinely think they are evil geniuses??
  2. BRFCS even told them. In person. In India.
  3. You’re gonna love Sadloss...
  4. Maybe it hasn’t worked for him but I think it was a sign of intent at a crucial time in Rovers’ recent history. Who knows who else joined because we had signed such a credible Championship player in L1...
  5. Surely the obvious place for safe standing at Ewood would be a full-redesigned, state-of-the-art Riverside stand?
  6. His first season he kept us up on his own and masked Bowyer’s obvious failings. The thousands of fans signing his name every week didn’t seem to mind. Much of the bitterness stemmed from him being linked with moves away and ultimately leaving. We would have been relegated under Bowyer without him.
  7. Disagree about the pressure. This lad is under pressure to become a £10m-plus future sale or fire us to promotion. It comes with the territory because of his price tag. Hopefully he thrives on that pressure.
  8. Good post although I’d say that’s an extremely harsh summary of Nuttall. Not even any credit for scoring the opener. He actually showed some good spells last night but like Caddis he had a lot of minuses. Non-league? Come on... I agree about Palmer though. He appears to have quick feet but there are times when the ball gets stuck under them and he looks very ungainly in trying to get the ball back under control. Some of his decision making also leaves a lot to be desired. Lewis is a good shout for MoM but I’d have given it to Conway personally. Did we actually award one on the night?
  9. Looks like they have slightly widened the face to get the neck line right.
  10. Didn’t see IMO in your post, so an odd come back. Hinderance indeed. Some people don’t know when then they are well off.
  11. Bowyer should have got his side promoted. He had all the tools but not the managerial nouse. If anything the job he did was overrated.
  12. It’s an odd one to gloat about really isn’t it.
  13. I do wonder if Williams will automatically get his place back or if Bell will have earned the shirt. He does seem to have favourites. It’ll be an interesting one to watch.
  14. Someone at the club is trolling the fans now. ??????
  15. If he could do that he could have been a decent rugby player. Certainly should be in a sport where the only passing allowed is backwards.
  16. Conway has beefed up a bit. Sunbed much Craig??
  17. Can’t drop Evans at this stage and we need a holding midfielder. When everyone’s fit we are going to have a hell of a bench!!
  18. Not sure why this has become such a sport. But at least you got a few cheap likes. (The board values tittle tattle on a level not seen before). Delighted to be proven wrong. Really enjoyable match. Did you go on? The Lincoln side I was expecting didn’t turn up and what did turn up faded badly in the second half. Not Rovers best performance but it was enough. Onwards! Bring on the dingles!
  19. Hard to say really without using an outrageous example. Playing just behind Nuttall as a second striker but energetic like Tomlinson. He’s quite short so has a low centre of gravity. Maybe Armstrong with L plates on but more busy than quick. ish...? Lincoln have looked defeated for the last 10 minutes and have struggled to cope with Butterworth, Palmer and Conway bombing at them. Maybe a bit easier to shine in those circumstances.
  20. Caddis nearly rounded off his second half with a goal. Travis off with a slight problem with his arm that he has been nursing for about 15 mins. Willem on.
  21. Butterworth is looking very good at the minute.
  22. Quality free kick from young Kasey. 4-1
  23. First half no. Second half much better.
  24. Well done Paul Caddis. Downing the recipient of a lovely cut back to the edge of the box. 3-1
  25. Back on his feet. Phew!
