  1. Where did all this mi-information come from yesterday? Bid accepted, Rothwell down in Bournemouth ready to sign...instead no bid accepted and probably around the training ground today. Great move by the club to keep him. What is £3m worth to a club for one of your best players when you're going for promotion. It's peanuts.
  2. Well Rothwell's been led on then by Bournemouth. Perhaps this is a lesson to him to not believe everything your advisers say. Clearly way down on the list of targets for them.
  3. Shocking decision by the club. Weaken us, strengthen them for a small fee. Very poor. What does this say about our ambitions to go up?
  4. Our local journo is usually a couple of steps behind what's going on.
  5. He's usually spot on. Very concerning. That would be a shocking bit of business.
  6. I wouldn't be selling Rothwell in our league position. No way. But once a player asks to go there's usually only one outcome.
  7. Not initially but I do think he's got all the right qualities to be a prem footballer. There can't be many better than him at running with the ball. There's no doubt it would be a big dent in our promotion bid him leaving.
  8. A shame as he's a top championship midfielder but I don't see a way back now. I think he'll do well in the prem if it is Brentford in for him.
  9. Good result in the circumstances but zero quality on show
  10. Another injury. Give us a break. Will be tough today with few attacking options. Have a feeling there's more to the Rothwell 'sore back' story.
  11. Butterworth will be a very good player for us, he's very talented. He probably could have done with a loan but he's a very useful player to have around the squad. You only have to look how Buckley and Diaz have blossomed despite looking well off it at first (in Diaz's case well off it for several years!).
  12. We don't sell Rothwell unless we get a £10m+ bid imo. He's the best midfielder in this league at the moment.
  13. HUGE win against the odds. Well done Sam for stepping up. Zeefuik with a very impressive cameo. Three centre halves were absolutely magnificent.
  14. Battling well but no quality at all. Eden is never a lb.
  15. The odds for Boro to win are very tempting.
  16. Oh dear. Poor line up. Back injury or exit door?
  17. This a big game for us. Some very average performances recently and a shocking result against Hull. Boro are a good team with a very good manager. I don't know where the goals are coming from tonight. I fear another 0-2 loss.
  18. Forget Souttar, this is the one we should be after https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/8324390/rangers-connor-goldson-two-english-sides-pre-contract/amp/
  19. DM out for the season! Cannot believe it.
  20. Do we really need him? Sounds like a good player but we've got Buckley and the return of Dack. I'd prefer a more combative midfielder as we don't have many of those. They give the flair players the platform to show their talents.
  21. Last night proves what we already knew, we have a good first 11 but not a very good squad. Edun is a poor lb, JRC is massively unfit and can't even run at the moment, Buckley is not very good in a deeper role, and Gallagher is just hopeless. I'd certainly say central midfield reinforcements are needed after last night. A player who can be an understudy to Travis.
  22. I suppose your luck runs out eventually. A blip or the start of a bad run? Wrong team selection tonight and poor refereeing.
  23. Shocking. Just a continuation of the Cardiff game. JRC having the worst half of any player this season. Gallagher his usual self.
