I'm still fuming about what we saw last night. A huge game against very average opponents and we simply weren't up for it. We got out fought in every department. Make no mistake, Preston are a very poor team yet they are level on points with us now. That in itself tells you how poor we've been this season. TM has no idea how to change a game. You only have to look at our results when we've conceded first this season. I think that it's sinking in with TM that he's reached his limit here and he doesn't have the skillset to take us any further. What got us here won't get us to where we want to go.

Chair from QPR looks like a very good player. Would love us to go for him to spice up our attack. -

Genuine question: have we ever won (or even scored?) when we’ve played a false 9? Cant fathom why it’s ever used unless you don’t have a fit striker. -

Why overcomplicate it time and time again. Put players in their best positions and let them get on with it. -

Get near the top 6 and then we crash and burn. Rinse and repeat. -

This won't be an easy game at all. Not see them play much this season but I don't expect them to just sit back, that could leave some space in behind for Arma. 1-1 -
He was very poor at Sunderland (twice), Middlesbrough, Wolves and Hull. If you asked fans at some of those clubs they'd prob say he's one of the worst strikers they've had. However, if you used him in the right way then he was a very, very good striker, as he proved here.

Danny retires. A shocking player for many clubs but he was fantastic here. A great fit for us during a challenging period for the club.

Bournemouth currently losing. Plenty of time left in that match but a big, big opportunity for us if they drop points. -

True, but you could look at it another way and say TM was the one who pushed for a proper recruitment department which had been dismantled previously. That recruitment department has then gone onto pick up gems like Kaminiski. I would hazard a very strong guess that the first time TM had ever seen TK play was on his first day of training at Rovers. The change in the style of football has also meant the top clubs feel their best young players will be schooled in the right way here, hence the quality of loans. -

You can fault TM for his tactical nous (and I do!) but you can't fault his transfer dealings in the past two windows. Some real rabbits out of the hat being pulled. We now have three of the best young players in the country playing for us. -

If it's between us and Preston I'd be pretty confident Kipre would rather come here. Preston are on the downward spiral. I'd like to think we'd have a chance to sign Kipre permanently in the summer if he comes here on loan before the deadline. WBA are probably going to get relegated which will mean Kipre's wages will be slashed anyway next season so his wages may not be such a big issue. -

I think we will sign Pickering. If Rich Sharpe is saying it’s drawing to a positive conclusion then it’s more or less a done deal. -

On a side note, what a player Dewsbury-Hall is for them. He’s top class. I can see him being in and around Leicester’s squad next season. -

What a win! Didnt see a goal coming but we did it. Holtby was the gamechanger. Lenihan MOTM closely followed by Douglas and Kaminski. -

An opportunity has opened up to get within touching distance of the play off places in what is a very winnable game at home. Can we take that opportunity? History says no. -

I hadn't heard of Pickering until about a week ago but he sounds highly rated so let's snap him up. Him and Kipre on permanent deals would be good business.
