  1. 83 points seem a long way away right now......
  2. But it will cost more money to sign and pay Z than it would to keep Nyambe! Where's the logic? If we keep playing hard-ball like this, we will be producing great young players for everybody else for free!
  3. Well we'll be losing all of them!
  4. Interviewed after the game, you would have sworn they were ours! I'd love them to stay.
  5. If we are in the play-offs, let's hope it doesn't go to penalties! 😂
  6. Yes, I was going to write yesterday that the various criticisms of Dolan on this forum were way over the top. He's a young kid making his way. He has natural talent and his energy and persistence are inspirational. Same goes for Gallagher in a different way. He is limited in some respects but he is nowhere near as bad as some claim. Never worth £5M at the time we signed him but that's another story and not his fault.
  7. We have to try something. We really are desperate for something to happen up front. We haven't got much to play with so its either Vale up-front in the middle or Gallagher or both if we change formation at the back/mid-field. I can't see us doing that because keeping the score down to nil or one is just about the only thing left going for us.
  8. Sparky would have got us up with this squad plus 2 or 3 key signings---which wouldn't have been as expensive as Mowbray's.
  9. Failure to adapt tactics on the pitch when it clearly isn't working is another. Just throws on subs at random in the hope that something will turn up.
  10. And they did have 10 men! Seems to be an advantage against us!
  11. WellI gave it as my opinion before we signed him that he isn't really very good. You could argue he hasn't had a chance to show what he can do but then why sign him in the middle of a promotion push if he doesn't play him? Mowbray's reputation in the transfer market has not been enhanced by he signing of Hedges.
  12. We were second, now you think we'll drop out of the top 6 but we should keep the manager anyway! Madness!
  13. During that superb run of success there were plenty saying. "if Tony gets the blame when things go wrong, he must receive the praise now its going right". I think that adage still applies. I've often said "we will never get promoted with Mowbray" so if he gets an extension to his contract imo we'll know that promotion is not a priority at Rovers.
  14. We need to go on another successful run to restore confidence and momentum. Anyone still believe we didn't need to sign a striker in January?
  15. Me and Chaddy go back longer than that!
  16. I'd say "significantly" but as Bigdog kindly reminds us, the season isn't over yet! We might not win another game!
  17. Poor old Ben! He'll possibly end up on 20 goals for the season. Tough shit bookies!!
  18. The manager you wanted to keep when everyone else wanted him gone you mean?
  19. Not better enough though. Nobody knows if his is a one-off season and if we might therefore be disappointed once again next season. Barnsley comes to mind.
  20. Big game this one but they are the team in form , not us. Desperate for us to find that pre-Christmas form again.
  21. Yes, good to see QPR going on a bad run. However, if we continue to play like we have been lately, what QPR do won't matter.
  22. What would Hedges offer that Khadra doesn't?
