Yes, beat Forest at Forest who beat Leeds at the weekend. A real trap this one.
-
You said, in reply to me that Chapmen "could have developed" poor character traits, Now its definite is it? Nothing to do with never playing I suppose....
-
We kicked off early one Saturday and therefore when the whistle went we were in the 6. Once everybody else kicked off we weren't!

straws at clutching

He'd have got more playing centrally, though some of his misses make me wonder even about that!
-
You can't have it both ways! If TM is such a good judge of people why did he sign a player he won't play because of his alleged character deficiencies?
-
And Mowbray definitely wouldn't!

Be easier to list whose NOT on it!

January transfer window 2020

It was a reckless gamble and therefore very strange, especially given the parsimony under which the club usually operates. -
January transfer window 2020

I said at the time that it was the oddest transfer I could ever remember, so "yes" dark forces must be a factor to consider. In which case, no lessons have been learned (contrary to views expressed on here) and we are in as much strife as ever as a club. Particularly as the debt continues to climb. -
January transfer window 2020

At £2.5M a far more realistic gamble than Brereton at £7M!! In my opinion, hardly a gamble at all whereas Brereton was a reckless gamble which has failed miserably. A club like our's should be looking at the best players in League One. Dack hadn't played in the Championship either, I take it you're happy with that signing? -
He's thinking about the Champion's League! That will compensate!
-
He's a manager who's won trophies is Pep. No settling for second with him. Chalk and cheese.
-
Are we?

tbh it doesn't look like that to me! It looks as if the ball went through to Lenihan without a touch from anyone else. If I can't see a touch after looking at it 5 times I don't know how the lineman could on one look in real time with all those bodies in his vision. To me it looks like a lazy decision .When he got the ball Lenihan was in an offside position, ergo flag goes up! Haven't seen footage of Lenihan's run to make a judgement on that. However its an academic matter and we won't miss out on promotion because of the officials!

There is no plan. We bumble along from season to season spinning it as progress. Our transfers, in the main, are a disaster. We've spent enough money to get out of this League but we never will under this manager. Who else sticks a 6ft 3 striker on the wing and doesn't play or get cover for the one man who can head it? ludicrous.

That's as true as it gets.

We lost!
-
Man City I think it was. £45000!!
-
I think the other "Mr Blackburn" left is Simom Garner. I would hope to see some recognition for him while he's still alive. Running our of stands though!
-
Unfortunately that means another disappointing transfer window these days. Given the sheer size of the task I'm not looking forward to it. 3 years on and we need more "rebuilding" than ever.
-
We seem to like 12th for some reason! That's where we'll finish I predict.
-
Every club faces these challenges when they try to strengthen their team. All managed to sign at least one new player except Rovers. Why is that?
-
The context was pushing to get into the top 6 which TM has alluded to. We are certainly not good enough to go up I agree.
-
I think the transfer window was exceptional. I can't remember the last time we failed to land anyone. We knew that Dack and Holtby and Rothwell were out injured before the window closed. So, yes, bad luck, but we have decided for financial reasons to wee with the willie we've got. It won't be big enough!
