  1. Love it if Sunderland overtook Burnley! What a play-off fixture lies in wait there! Yes---I'm getting ahead of myself!
  2. What a great acquisition he's been. My "man of the season".
  3. But we were living off an excellent set of results early in the season. At the time Eustace took over were were on a very bad run.
  4. Bloody good article that. Writer has more of a clue than many of our supporters.
  5. No they haven't, its a bloody miracle we are where we are and its down to Eustace to a great extent. Eerybody's tip for relegation, including mine!. He made us hard to beat (till we lost so many players and the lack of depth of the squad was laid bare)
  6. Wow, I didn't realise how close to events you must be! Or did you just make all that up?
  7. That meaningless bollocks has helped us to 6th!
  8. I'm impressed at how well the Club has done in deflecting the blame for what has happened, away from themselves and on to Eustace That's all they exist for these days. Absolutely useless at anything else.
  9. Basically you think a manager should just stay win club whose owners ae making it impossible to do his job? In any field of employment people want job satisfaction. At some point he was bound to see there was no point.
  10. You seem to expect a manager to behave exactly the same as a fan. Why I don't know. Why should he stay here and watch half the squad walk away in the summer because the owners haven't listened to his requests to extend their contracts? His behaviour is totally logical.
  11. As opposed to this moron: Disgraceful comments from this snivelling spiteful hack. The cowardly, treacherous skunk has been backed to the full extent of allowable investment but following his dismal recent performances and results he seems to have opted for the easy task of building a wall behind Derby’s defence rather than accepting the challenge of firing us into the playoffs. Pack his belongings in a black bin bag, dump them in the River Darwen, drag him out by his ears and fumigate his office. Rather than admit to his treachery, his snake of an agent advised him to ask for the impossible to detract from their own deviant behaviour. I hereby promise never to quote this "person" again!!
  12. He's gone and that's it. Wanted a new contract, which he deserved, wanted the players whose contracts were up to be offered new ones. Owners turned him down. Why would he stay in the circumstances? How come we've lost 2 managers in 12 months? This crisis has been almost 15 years in the making and everything about the club has been dumbed down. Tomorrows game will be a funeral one from our point of view. Feel so sad for the players who have given their all this season only to see the rug pulled from under them. Some people are talking as if its as simple as-- a manager has gone, so what? We'll get another one and things will carry on as they always have. I think a stage more desperate than that has been reached and our very future is on the line. I wouldn't care to be involved in marketing for Rovers at the end of the season, you can't fall all the people all the time.
  13. If you're looking at the timing----surely its the transfer window that's the last straw.? Spending zilch while raking in money from transfer fees. He won't be the last manager/coach to lose it with this crowd, unless we appoint Steve Keane again.
  14. You'll find plenty of mates on the LT site!
  15. Can't see how selling and being free of all this isn't a better way to go! You seriously do wonder why they don't take this easier option.
  16. Not noew obviously but they could have supported him in the transfer market when he needed it.
  17. And the first response was this!! "Roverend1 hr ago User ID: 5471465 Total nonsense Eliot. Given the known financial restrictions at the club how has Eustace not been supported? At least 3 quality players coming through the door in the January window and the best two transfer windows in recent history. The guy took the job on a very good salary and with no major expectations asked of him. You are now writing as though he was promised a war chest and that promotion was a pre requisite. Neither are true so why have you omitted this? This guy has deceived the club and is now conveniently using the clubs known instability as a pretext for suddenly wanting to leave leave and in unforgivably courting an approach from another club mid-season. I appreciate you’re no fan of BEFC but whose side are you on? As a ST holder of many years you’re certainly don’t represent me with your unsubstantiated appraisal which completely fails to address the dire financial situation that Derby are currently in. Where does Eustace state he doesn’t feel supported by the club? This is just a media created ruse. As a reporter you have a responsibility to report facts not subjective opinions based on heresay. As a supporter and long standing ST holder I find your statement to be insulting and very misleading." Last Updated: 5 mins ago
  18. So he didn't realise he had a family when he took the Job?
  19. He was wonderful for us but never had the same success anywhere else.
  20. They were bargains. When Savage broke his leg and the Board refuse Hughe's request to fund a replacement, that's when he gave up on Rovers. I accept that the situation then was as different as could be from the situation now though, which is dire.
  21. That's another manager the Club failed to back. Not new at Ewood is it?
  22. Dyche is a good shout. Don't know if he'd consider us but he would be ideal in the circumstances we face. Wouldn't be pretty but that's hardly the point right now.
  23. More like a steady descent---though pace could pick up from now on.
