  1. Yes but he's a very good manager. That's the point many of us are making. Doesn't matter what formation you would like----the manager first has to agree, then put the best 11 players in their best positions, while signing players to fill the gaps eg wingers. and they have to be the right players. Do you really see this happening?
  2. The "answers" are usually evasive, repetitive, deflecting and largely irrelevant, hence people ask him the same questions because they never got an answer in the first place! However, no-one is compelling you to read anything, so just calmly scroll down and you'll be free of annoyance. Easy eh?
  3. And you were doing so well!! LOL!
  4. It wouldn't be the same poster who said of Brereton "He's a steal" would it?!!!
  5. Nobody but nobody is worse than Coyle (except Keen!)
  6. Just went back to reading the first posts about the Brereton signing. Most comments would be seen as utterly embarrassing now---- "exciting signing" crops up a lot as does "heading in the right direction". Neal was just about the only cautious poster in the first 3 pages with 2 similar quotes. Lesson is---don't assume the player is good because he's expensive!
  7. Venkys----- welcome as a fart in a lift.
  8. Oh Bob, you're so'90's. !!
  9. Chapman keeps the bench warmer??
  10. Might well be the case. So why does he put up with it? He's another in a long line of Venky managers who take the dosh and put up with it. Only one had the integrity to walk away.
  11. There's an assumption in there that I've seen no evidence for.
  12. You wanted Mowbray out! What's changed for you? The standard of football? The Ewood experience?
  13. Did the same at Ewood v Spurs. Daylight robbery that game, 2-1 to us with 2 late goals in a match they totally dominated. Loved it!
  14. Statisically it would be an improvement but: a) its not much of one and b)it hasn't actually happened, its an"if". If he's here next season "and beyond" we will be a shell of a club.
  15. Dunno. Let's ask him.
  16. I'd wager that no other manager given £12M for two players in the Championship would totally waste it as TM has. And a new manager would never play Gallagher on the wing so maybe he might find some form too. I think you are one of the pessimists actually---we can't find anyone better than Mowbray so let's do nothing.
  17. Another example of us buying cheap and selling dear!! Good that he's his way though.
  18. Even Duggie----beat players for fun! Seen him beat the same defender twice on many occasions (sigh!)
  19. Carry on like this much longer and we'll be a Div 1 club with 5000 fans in a couple of years. And "yes" I am pessimistic! Give me a reason not to be.
  20. Armstrong has pace and is quick to get a shot away. I reckon he'd be alright playing up-front alongside a big, strong striker. In this division anyway.
  21. Sell him then!!
  22. He looked good when he came though.
  23. Or it might not be a blip. It might be another example of what happens to a player under Mowbray's management.
  24. I would trust Dyche to make the most of whatever budget he does get, But why are we bringing Dyche into it? We have Mowbray.
